Saint Lucia economy is propelled primarily by Tourism,so what is Nigeria president going to do there,when Nigeria do not have comparative advantage in that industry.

Nigeria has potentials in the mining industry,so ,he should sign agreements and MOU's with like minded countries that are thriving in that industry.

He should think of revamping Nigeria dead refineries and stop the importation of fuel, that is what is killing the Nigerian economy, that's the sole reason the naira continue to lost it's value

The government has to be focused and not just wasting scarce state resources af this critical times on irrelevant visits

Yet every issue you raised is still covered by the fact that self-destructive policies one President after the other endured with, to have an easy time in office and two terms, is responsiblr for the cumulative woes of Nigeria that left our nation on the edge of collapse when PBAT took over.

As a serious government you don't remove subsidies completely ,most developed nations subsidies one or multiple products depending on their needs,America subsidies agriculture, education, UK subsidies health, Education etc so for other countries
On currency devaluation such is reserved for producing nations who has products to export to drive their exports, not importing nations like ours
What a sincere government would have done is to block the leakage in forex by preventing speculators access to forex but make available in a controlled way for necessary transactions, in these case forex should not be available to politicians for use in primaries or for domestic purchases ,people must use naira to buy locally, then importation of fuel should be stopped outright, this would reduce demand for forex drastically and will help stabilise the naira
There are alternatives to the punishing policies but its unattractive to the policy makers because it will affect them, they prefer the other method of shifting burden to others why they bear nothing
Many of this policy makers stores dollars, pounds, euro ,under their beds to hide their loot,these are not meant for any productive purposes
The elite subsidies themselves while convincing the poor that they don't need subsidy
If we are able to refine locally, it will bring fuel prices down and reduced need for forex because the forex for fuel importation would have been saved, that would be like killing two beds with one stone but they will not do it because they have refineries abroad in Malta and the rest
So we have unpatriotic leaders disguising as reformers
Many Nigerians are not fooled they can see through these people

For example the revenue are being channel into buying yacht, limousines, renovation of Palaces for the rulers ,expensive suv for legislators, humongous salary for judiciary officers,all these were implemented within the first year
While the paltry minimum wage is yet to be fully implemented across board, for both workers and pensioners
He has no reasons to still keep the boarders closed ,if he really takes his job seriously because he would have reviewed the impact of the closure and would have discovered it created. More problems than achieved any success but he is more interested in politics any way that is his only strength
