Ojuntana: This is concerning There seems to be a disconnect between the policy being propagated in the public space and the one implemented with real effects on Nigerians The clueless government have been claiming that floating naira is one of the reforms that have been yielding fruits with the naira getting stronger Now we're being told $8bn was used to shore up the naira and another $4bn to shore up reserves The rebased rate was expected to reflect the new trends based on those reforms What is obvious is that the rebased inflation rate does not reflect the market. The former rate is more realistic Where did the figures come from then? Where exactly is this so-packaged reforms taking Nigeria to? Is there any tangible benefit to be derived in the true sense and what are the benefits? Nigerians need to kick this people out ASAP ,they are confused and just doing trial and error while the country keep going through hardship at the end of the day all the sacrifices will go to waste because no tangible results will come out of this their rigmarole, In one breath they float the naira, in another they are defending the naira, the same defence they blamed buhari for and called unrealistic These people are confused |

Hemanwel: Why the apology? Was he the one who annulled the elections? The main man who ought to apologize didn't do so, instead was rewarded with N18b in the name of book launch.
Buhari is not in the best position to apologize to Abiola family and Nigerians for the annulment of June 12, 1993 elections. IBB is. Yet his apology ain't forthcoming.
Admittance is different from apology. If not for that apology and subsequent honour by buhari, BABANGIDA will still be grandstanding but buhari had already taken off the stool he stood upon, he had no choice again, this latest step by ibb is a face saving effort |

As long as these new reforms will be equitable, devoid of exploitation and corruption then it should be embraced. Just because you hate someone doesn't mean all their acts are evil. The rapid devaluation of the Naira started in 2015 when the utterly incompetent, gworo chewing Fulani Herdman from Daura began ruining the country while Tulumbu stood by and hailed him as a genius.
Binance was not even in existence in 2015, but the Agbado tout wants to hang his blunders on them and make them a scape goat.
Maybe Nigerians will finally learn their lesson after 4 years of this MU-MU ticket inspired incompetence. They are always looking for scape goats ,remember aboki fx Please I will beg of you and any like mind you know, let's make the sacrifice and liberate this country from APC otherwise we are all dead |

One big political mistake he made was pitching his tent away from other prominent members of afenifere when he should have remained neutral. It is always good to think tomorrow before making any friendship with Nigerian politicians. It doesn't worth it because their game is too dirty. That is what separate him and you including your mentors He has integrity, detriballised, had a world view rather than your myopic view,do not worship money like you, stand for the truth unlike you who truth do not matter ,he is selfless unlike you and your mentor including fashoranti who are self serving He is a giant who is recognised on earth and heaven but you and the people you represent are only fit for worldly feats ,accolades and materials ephemeral fleeting things |

The FG can't just be day dreaming while thinking it unfeasible economic shock measures is just going to autoregulate the cost of goods and services.
The galloping inflation, free fall of the naira, constricting taxation policies among other factors are not going to make it easy for retailers and consumers not forgetting high interest rates orchestrated by the cbn |

Stop thinking 🤔 virile,as we all needs to play our Part.e.g many of us took political blunder- when Emiefiele was --at CBN - and All the FOREX money gone, -NTrillions of Expenditures in Ways and Means- Unaccounted For by your Emiefiele. -NBillions of Anchor Borrowers Farmers Money 🤑,gone, with Emiefiele! •Did you know that Economic Implications of the Above?- No Food for Nigerians- - as the Farmers Money are not getting to them- because of Compromised and Manipulation Situations, etc, at CBN then - we are now experiencing the Long - Term Effects - On Our Foodstuffs- No Good diet on the Tables of Poor Man. -Kiss the TRUTH! The guy is not asking for too much it can even get better but you guys are used to punishing the people rather than govern to improve their lives What you requested of him is job of your government not the individual that made the comment, a serious government don't devalue when it has nothing to export ,a responsible government don't leave its foreign exchange to market forces, that's only done in text books Besides, eliminating the corruption in the fx market, stopping importation of Petroleum products and putting an end to the dollarisation of the economy will greatly improve the fx rate but the government will not do it because they are beneficiary |
