TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Susom(f): 11:07am On Dec 03, 2020
Thank you. Yes you are so right. working from home for now, so 6 months should be good. Will take my exit after 6 months hopefully
LagosismyHome:
Kent and Hayes are miles apart...... but if you are working perhaps near Heathrow then hayes is much better. Nothing beats living close to home from work . Hayes has a high indian population and with them money is king so not surprised to see 6 months upfront to settle the matter...lol

But welcome to West London and happy settling down

You got it ooo and see now.
Lexusgs430:
That time, the exact reason you did not register was........ You put UK sand for your right hand, had very high hopes for Nigeria, clearly stating.........

UK had nothing to offer........ Now that rejected stone....... grin

TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Susom(f): 9:32pm On Dec 02, 2020
Hello Lexusgs430, I am back to say thank you for assisting me with the house search in the Kent area even though I couldn't land any. I eventually got somewhere in Hayes, they were willing to take 6months rent ahead of the Tenancy. Settling in the UK on a Sole Representative Visa for a Nigerian Company has been so tough but all is fine now. I wish I registered on the electoral register as a student during my master.

Thank you Thank you Thank you

Which name did she use on the application form? The name should be same as the name on the tuberculosis certificate. You can try submitting both passports but is the change of name a new development?
Yakeeboy:
Hello house I have a pressing issue bothering me. My spouse currently is not bearing my surname on her passport but we have registered for another one which will be out probably by Dec 10 but the issue is her Tuberculosis test is scheduled for Nov 29 and her current passport bears her name. Please can she use her current passport for the TBS? Then use the new passport that will bear my surname for her visa applocation.... Will there be any issue. Please advise

If you have been qualified for over 5years, you can become a member of ICAEW i think. otherwise you have to write some exams and same goes for ACCA as per exams
tushqueen:

2. what are his chances of moving his career ahead in the UK.

3. Is there a support group or social media threads he can follow for proper guidance and mentorship.

Thank you.

TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Susom(f): 8:01pm On Oct 21, 2020
Yes, have had one since 2018. I wish I was asked that question you know
mamacajah:
oh really? they asked me for evidence of ability to pay and I said I had saved funds
have you been able to open an account yet?
that would help a lot..
TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Susom(f): 3:15pm On Oct 21, 2020
Thank you. Already spent the last few weeks doing that, the challenge so the landlord not accepting our application or agency not even getting back.

The challenge is assumed to be with the fact that we are just coming in and they are not sure we can meet up with rent and all. Hence why O came here for some sort of referral

mamacajah:
check rightmove.com, primeproperty.com, zoopla.com,aspc.ac.uk
do your research and call a lot of them.
It might take a while especially based on your budget and requirements

I currently use Houston methodist sugarland, i walked in upon arrival after checking for doctors online using the hospital.
prunchee:
Same here ...pls anyone, I need a Dr correspondence from Houston Methodist and memorial Hermann
TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Susom(f): 6:23am On Feb 28, 2019
Houston Methodist or Memorial Herman
JMarines:
I have been on the phone with a few hospital reps over the last couple of days and one thing they emphasized was that everyone has to be treated fairly and on that note if you are self pay, you are entitled to a certain percentage of discount.
I told them I wasn’t interested in the discounted package and they said it is standard procedure for them and that’s what keeps them at a competitive edge.
At this stage, I’m running out of ideas as to decide on what step to take next.

Please who knows of any hospital in Houston that offers a non-discounted package?
Help a sister, thanks.

TravelRe: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 6 by Susom(f): 9:18am On Nov 12, 2018
Dear all,

I appreciate the effort you guys put into sharing your experience on here, it has made he journey easier for a lot of us.

I am a FTM, looking to travel to Houston in Jan/Feb 2019 as I am due in March 2019. Apologies I do not have any transcript to share as I have a valid BI/B2 which i intend on using for the forthcoming journey.

From the trend I understand that Houston Methodist has recently reviewed their prices, please i will appreciate it if anyone has used them in the past year and willing to give a review (if allowed) and also share the new estimate of price.

Second, I see a lot of people talk about Dr. F and Dr. E, any other recommendation? Also, is it just the doctor I will contact or the hospital as well ( Have been unable to get clarifications from previous discussions)
