Hello,

I need to build a 40 ft Water Tank Tower and I intend to have 3 tanks - 1 tank for each floor of a 2-storey building.
Each tank would have a capacity of 3,000 Litres. It has been recommended that I should use the following materials

1.) 4 Lengths of H Beam - 152 by 152 (40ft)
2.) 3 Lengths of H Beam - 127 by 76 (18ft)
3.) 5 Lengths of 4 by 2 (18ft)
4.) 1 sheet of Greeting
5.) 24 Lengths of Angle Iron

I would appreciate your comments.

What's the purpose of item 3&4 ?
You will need Base Plate , Foundation Bolt and Nut too.

actually I'm just looking at the quote properly but I knew something wasn't right when I got it. Bags of cement kinda high. I think the bricklayer gave wrong quote. I just feel like cement quote is close to building a bungalow. Lol

Experienced homebuilders should say something on this. Are these prices fair for the square meters indicated?

Can you give a proper description of the project?
Plastering and Rendering with 350 Bags sounds like a No No, The Sand too.

This ongoing project hasn’t taken more than 3 Trucks of Plaster Sand( Softsand) and 122 Bags of Cement, Scaffold didn’t cost me more than 90k with Workmanship.
That’s a 3 unit of 2bedroom Flat and 1 unit of 3bedroom flat here in Lagos.
