Any solar install just plan for next 5-7 years and prepare to sell off and upgrade. The technology is moving fast. Three years ago 300 and 350Wpanels were the standard. CATL and BYD are already planning to phase out LIFEPO4 and expect Sodium Ion batteries from next year to cost around $19/KWh meaning that a 10KWh battery will cost around $250 (plus shipping) or N375K instead of $1,100 or around N1.65M.

Haisic 8KWH is actually 280AH x 25.6 = 7,168W or 7.17KWH. Shouldn't buy batteries where the manufacturer deliberately mislabels the actual capacity. Who knows what other shortcuts they took.

Only Deye, Firman and Lvtopsun got full capacity.
When i saw the cworth own i knew it was a waste of time coz I've 20kwh of cworth and I'm sure that thing has like 14kwh or so in it. You can never be sure of what batteries these brands put in their batteries.

The DIY batteries of Valto and mrreed are also only ones you can be sure of capacity. That's why i always go with them plus more affordable.

what i mean is that nigerians are not doing solar so to sell back to the grid...where if the grid no gree buy again or tarriff reduce wey u no fit increase ,then you go think say na bad investment,here we use all the energy ourselves

Hello house, I just discovered that lithium batteries have a max output power but don't really understand what it means. And I haven't seen anyone talking about it on this thread.

For example, the Cworth 2.56KWH lithium battery has a max output power of 1920W. Does this mean I won't be able to power an appliance that has a surge of 2500W even if I have a 5000W inverter connected to this Cworth 2.56KWH battery?
