Every laborer deserves his wages. Because many of us are DIY, we tend to take for granted that there is a lot of work involved in solar installations.
Sometimes after spending hours designing a solution for a person, the person may now give the job to another person.

The worst part about solar is that from the time you install, any electrical problem in that house will be transferred to the installer since it is assumed that he was the last person to have worked on the electrical systems in the house.

Before you know it, the small profit you made will be spent going back to that house to resolve issues.

Nothing to worry about when it comes to repairs with those big brands, infact their repairs is usually the most straight forward. Once you identify the exact board that is bad inside, you buy a replacement, slot it back in, connect the different olugs back and your inverter is back to life.

It is even all these chinese hybrid boards that solder all the different parts of the board on one board sef that you start having to trace resistor, ICs, capacitors to replace.

you are encouraging me to go ahead and buy this thing and its working.

Naturally I have problems with used stuff, if I don't know the history. If I can raise 1.8m, I will rather borrow more to get that 8kw deye than buy used 10kva victron, except I know the history, or who used it.

Open it and if you have the eye for it could see if it's the original soldering on the board or if there's an attempt on repair. Most repaired inverter often fail soon enough due to either inferior part used or wrong equivalent component used that may work for a short time. Check the transformer for signs of stress if it's a transformer based inverter. Generally look at the internals of the power board and check the state of ithe components. If it's all good, pay and hope it doesn't fail.

Whats the worst that can go wrong in buying a fairly used inverter.... I mean is there anyway to check the mileage?

In fact, let me not spill the bins. Go and find out yourself. First a real fallen national grid would be a disaster that could even cause deaths as some of the grids pass through infrastructures and even markets. You only hear grid collapse without traces. This one is here blaming it on consumers that pays money. Keep been deceived by the system because i see you're an element of the system.

like I said, with the current rate of electricity, no electricity investor can survive... But Nigerians too like cheap things that they pay a premium for in the abroad...if you are in Nigeria and you are willing to pay 650 naira per Kilowatt hour.... I will give you 24/7 electricity... You don't need to worry about the upfront cost.....na you go still run.... Electricity is cheap in Nigeria... If you want to invest try and see... Na so so loss you go do...many apartments in Nigeria advertise 24/7 electricity... The tenants never complain of lack of electricity... De just pay d premium and move on.

I spent 3 years in the UK when i was running my masters and charity programmes. The first year, there was blackout for only 3 hours for the entire 12months calender and it's only lightning situation that turns off the light. We cook, bath, exercise, clean the house, iron, use heater (in winter), use AC (in summer), etc. and do almost everything with electricity such that a long blackout could result to deaths. Here in Nigeria we're blessed otherwise blackout would have killed millions.

And, i don't know what you're trying to argue on or defend about Nigeria's electricity. Until you have only 4 to 6 hours entire year's blackout and not a "7 days light with a brief" as you described, you've not seen light yet. Okay?

if you are willing to pay the exact rate you are paying in UK in Nigeria you will have 24/7 light. People that can afford 24/7 light in Nigeria already have it.

How you guys quickly forget your experience when you see small electricity at times baffles me. There are some countries that's not have a blink for years and if they do it's like once or twice a year and blink for the entire year would be less than 4 hours and you're here talking about 7 days light... no country does not have power outages, it may be short but it happens, especially when extreme weather conditions happen

It is about Demand, HV inverters are industrial applications. its has not become mainstream like that. Once demand increase they will surely bring them, you can always ship it anyway.

And it seeems the HV hybrid have more case study to trust with, currently the person that needs it does not even want to do AC, maybe maximum single load will be a 1 hp borehole machine, that he will rarely use... If not his current maximum load is 750 watts. Please can you help with the exact picture, it will save me lot....is this the 2019 own or the 2022 own you are talking about

I have 3 units the White Hybrid LV Models working since 2019, I have personally 6 units of HV Hybrid Models Since 2022, I have installed more than 50 units of the HV Hybrid Models for clients.

I had issue with one of the HV 3KW which works without Battery but once you connect battery, it shuts down on Error 23.

Then, months into these installations, more than 5 units of the Inverter started to have power button switch on issues, I noticed that if you eventually switch off the Inverter at some point you can't get it to come back on.

Upon investigation, I realized that the Power Switch sucks in dust and it blinds the contacts inside the switch preventing SWITCH ON Operation. Opening the switch and cleaning it up and reassemble it didn't help much.

So I ordered 20Pcs of the Power Switch and have been replacing the buttons as they get bad, I would usually mask the switch with transparent masking tape to prevent air flow through it.

WHY DOES THE INVERTER SUCK AIR VIS THE SWITCH

**** I DISCOVERED THAT ALL THE UNITS THAT HAD THIS ISSUE HAD CLOGGED AIR FILTERS ****

I have never had any Electrically or Electronically Related faults with all the units.

Please note that newer production of these IVEM series now has a pop-out fuse on the left hand side of the inverter. Also note that the IVEM 3KW, 5KW and 8KW now comes in a white case and the power button has been relocated.

Uk/Eu used tv is the best only if you are buying from trusted dealers in alaba, i and my 3 other friends never regret buying eu version of tv from alaba....

i swear, i keep seeing 65 inches LG OLED on jiji for as low as 1.2million from vendors in alaba.... Very tempting.
