paqman:Hmm thanks for your honest review sir |
Gambling can be found all most everywhere these days. It can be found on the streets, via the internet, and even in play centers. “Gambling is the sure way of getting nothing for something.” The above is one thing I want you to know about gambling. Why are betting sites, casinos, yahoo, get-rich-quick investment schemes wrong? After all they seem to relieve you from poverty real fast right? But permit me to open your eyes to something really new. Gambling actually encourages you to imagine that you own a certain amount of money and then within a few seconds, it fizzles away. Gambling to me is wrong and is totally a sin because of its effects on you. Quite a huge number of the young populace now indulge in gambling including teenagers who are under 16. It’s good to think about making money but not in this way. Wealth gotten from this manner corrodes fast than an iron rod. It doesn’t only plunge you into poverty but it attaches as a lot of evil to your life. You may say, am totally wrong and gambling is the fastest way to get rich quick just like someone told me recently. That he cannot go through the normal way of making money because it’s too long for him. May God deliver young people from the spirit of laziness, pride, impatience in Jesus’ name! Look I understand that times are hard and the country may be really hard but it’s not an excuse to gamble. I recently shared my article on businesses you can do in the university. Someone told me yahoo. Now this may sound hilarious to you but it doesn’t. Yahoo involves duping someone and that is stealing. You’re putting someone in pain while stealing their money! Let’s look at what the Bible has to say; Proverbs 28:22 ‘trying to get rich quick is evil and leads to poverty. Another verse in proverbs 13:11 it says; wealth from gambling quickly disappears, wealth from hard work stays. You would notice that the money you get from gambling really doesn’t stay, it’s either you spend it on sickness or irrelevant things such that you may begin to ask yourself, how did this money disappear? So many people have lost their lives, livelihood, kids, school fees, because of gambling and many more people are in debt because of gambling. Greediness, murder thoughts have all being stirred up in your hearts because you want to get rich quick. Can you just slow down and tell yourself; I’m in no competition with nobody. And if you are in Christ, trust me he will show you a wealth creative idea and if you are consistent with what he has shown or directed you to do, you will make money but first, if you want to be rich the first principle you must pass is to STOP chasing money because it will only give you an idea of being rich. 3 Reasons Why Gambling is Wrong for you who are in Christ. It pushes you into sin 1 Timothy 6:9-10 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. I heard the story of a boy who won a huge amount of money from a prominent gambling site. But he squandered the money thinking he would still make the same amount or more the following week. But the following week came and he got more frustrated when he didn’t win any of his game and so he lost. He became angry and killed the agent of the prominent betting center. Now, of course he has been arrested for murder. Another story is the story of a yahoo boy who duped a white woman of millions of dollars but guesses what? He was caught and thrown into jail. He didn’t enjoy the money, the money was only a means to an end for the two guys. The love of money pushed them into gambling, and then finally into jail. It leads you into covetousness Luke 12:15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” Gambling only leads you into selling all that you have while you gain nothing! I heard the story of a man who sold all he had and thought he would be in millions soon but do you know he still walks around the street today like a hippie, thinking he would soon be rich when he obviously cannot? It fixes your gaze and trust in money (mammon) Meanwhile the Scripture teaches that we should cast all our cares on God. We should see him as the only provider. One thing about gambling is that it narrows your eyes to it as the only source of your need. And so you set your heart on the 150 million you want to win, or dupe from someone and then the day it crashes, your heart is plunged with an attack! Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Mathew 6:25-28, talks about how he cares and clothes the lilies, in the field. How much more you, his own son. Finally, it is best to stop if you have been into it and if you are aspiring to go into it, it’s best you kill such an idea. Remember, wealth got hastily leads to poverty. Take your time, build yourself and your business. If you have a white-collar job, be diligent in it. Follow all the natural and spiritual principles that have to do with finances. Then the sky will be your starting point. If you are yet to give your life to Christ it’s best you do it now, because he alone saves. God bless you. Read more from www.theyouthblog.com

Admist coronavirus, I have been wondering where Bukola SARAKI is? I hope he's not dead yet |
The weather is cool in my location today what can I say? It must have been the aftermath effect of the rainfall the day before yesterday that brought a tremendous effect to the heated weather. I wonder how much importance rainfall is to nature. That means if there was no rainfall, the ground would have been terribly dry and parched and the heat would have been terrible. Much worse than this. Don't ask me for scientific evidence, you have eyes so you can see the FACT. Nature has clearly SHOWN you and I the very importance of rain. Just as God has shown us the very importance of air (oxygen) to man. No one seems to search for AIR. But everyone seems to be in search for something! Well not everyone but most people aren't even aware of the fine treasures in them! The Earth was quick to unravel the importance of rain and sun to nature. Man was quick to understand that air (oxygen) is needed for both plant and animals. Then why is it difficult for you to find yourself? Yes I'm asking you. Just like the rain, sun and air the treasures in you are evident you aren't just seeing it! Could you have been blind then? There are treasures in earthen vessels lied/buried deep in us. But it takes your strength and the wisdom of God to unravel it. It's just like giving a man a wrapped gift. The man never knows what's in it until he UNWRAPS IT. let's open to the scriptures, the word of God is our source and I will never deviate from my source. Psalms 17 verse 14-15; come and save me from this men of the world whose only concern is earthly gain, these men whom you have filled with your treasures so that their children and grandchildren are rich and prosperous. But as for me my contentment is not in wealth but in seeing you and knowing all is well between us. And when I awake in heaven I will be fully satisfied, for I will see you face to face. Now I discovered that God has placed treasures in every single man on Earth. No man is empty! There are treasures in you but these treasures are hidden and they need to be discovered. A lot of us have veered off the path God has placed us in true search for treasures but for earthly gain which is sad. Another sad thing to note again according to this verse is that; both men and women when they attain certain stage think about just marriage and children but this scripture is telling us that it isn't just children that is his in you but there are TREASURES! Such that we need to discover so that our grandchildren would benefit from it. King James alternates treasures with substance. You have substance in you! So instead of sitting in your rickety torn, worn out and frustrated seat, hurling abuses at 'men of God' and even 'women of God' (I don't just mean pastors. I mean men who are Godly and thriving in every facet of their lives). Instead of insulting them why don't you channel that energy into discovering your hidden treasures? Instead of envying your spouse, sister, brother, neighbor and friend why don't you discover yourself as well? God has placed in us enough treasures but face it, you are just too LAZY TO dig them out! You allow distractions, latest music, fornication, lust of the eyes, masturbation, pornography, lies, drunkeness adultery, films, gossip, hate, love of money, pride of life so much fill you that you forget you need to unravel this treasure in you. I'm not saying films and music is wrong but don't let it take over you completely! If you keep treading on this path then you might just end up really wealthy but only in your GRAVE. FOR THE RIGHTEOUS, if you're a true Christian, according to this verse your sole satisfaction is not when you even discover these treasures. Your satisfaction comes in beholding the righteousness of God even with that treasure. Do you understand? That means you do not allow that treasure God has placed in you to be god over your life. You do not allow that treasure placed in you to breech your communication between you and God. Instead you should behold the face of God in that treasure even while on earth and maximizing your full potential to the glory of God while still winning souls for him with that TREASURE. What is that TREASURE in you? Don't read this message and forget all about it by Monday that means you are simply letting your treasure lie waste. Stop chasing MONEY, you're too busy chasing money that's why you do not have the time to discover what is in you that can bring money to you with ease and make you to command influence. Remember our goal is to command influence even in that field of yours. However how can you even discover these treasures and navigate properly when you do not have the wisdom of God. WHAT HAS GOD PLACED IN YOU? WHAT INSPIRES YOU? WHAT IS IN YOU THAT CAN CHANGE YOUR CURRENT SITUATION, NIGERIA AND THE WORLD? DON'T JUST CRY AND SAY NIGERIA IS DEAD BEAT. NO! THAT IS WHY YOU ARE HERE! THERE'S SOMETHING IN YOU THAT CAN SAVE IT! You need Jesus Christ the true wisdom of God to assist in showing you how to discover yourself. IF YOU HAVEN'T GIVING YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST, THEN HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY, DO IT TODAY GIVE YOUR ALL TO HIM. PRAY LIKE THIS; FATHER HELP TO DISCOVER THE HIDDEN TREASURES IN ME. OPEN MY EYES TO SEE IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS! May God bring speedy answers to our prayers IJN! Happy Sunday and have a lovely day ahead. |
yinkaadesegha:Thanks so much for this. I was praying this afternoon for financial liberation for someone and I had a trance and saw; loaves of bread about 6 on the gas cooker in a kitchen. That's all |
yinkaadesegha:God bless you sir! God bless you real good |
Good morning sir, I had a dream. In that dream it seemed as though I just finished baking bread. Loaves of bread so I gave it to some hausa boys in another bakery to help me with slicing. They took it inside and told me to come back in 10 minutes. Just as I was about to go out of their bakery, I noticed another hausa man at the other side, reciting something about his religion on his own batter (a bread that wasn't made yet). That's all. (Meanwhile, I've had two dreams pointing me towards the north that I would live in the north) But what does this mean? Had another dream about me and my spiritual mother. Normally in d physical, we pray at her house. In d dream, I was in her house for prayers, her parlour was littered with her clothes so her daughter was trying to iron her mother's skirt I think I helped her, then I told her to look for her mother's blouse so I could help iron it as well. Later on, my spiritual mother came in, but before we started praying, she asked if I had turned of the fire from the gas cooker I said yes. Meanwhile there were two gas cookers in the room. So I turned off the fire from the other one. (Meanwhile it looked as if we normally turned off the gas before prayers in that dream) So she said okay that she prays the gas cooker will be able to come on the following day so we started our prayers. Please what does this mean? |
Good morning sir, what does it mean to wear an unusually big gown in dream. Meanwhile others were wearing fitted clothes but mine was big. Could this mean grace? |

THE ENEMY OF MAN. BY FUNMI AKINTADE …...Few more grunts, he fell on me. I sighed in satisfaction. Thierry as I would call him or Thierry Alphonse got up as quick as he fell, he sauntered into the conjoined bathroom, my eyes never leaving his naked muscular form. I wanted more, in fact I had been hoping we would have the day to ourselves since it was valentine but coach had called him. The shower ran to a stop, I perceived he must have finished having his bath. A naughty thought formed in my head, I thought of joining him underneath the shower with our wet but firm bodies clasping roughly in rigorous rhythm. At least that was what I thought until he spoke, bursting my thoughts. "Sorry I couldn't stay longer. Désole my love." he threw on his T shirts and kissed me on the cheeks. Thierry was Cameroonian and how he had left his village in yaoundè to join the Nigerian under 20 footballers still marvelled me. He wasn't Nigerian, yet he played for Nigeria. When I asked him about it, he had told me his father was a Nigerian and that his Yoruba name was Bayo. So his mates called him Bayo, his jersey had Bayo written on it but only I called him his Cameroonian name Thierry. I forced a smile on my face, obviously unhappy about the situation but could do nothing. I stood up, unashamed of my naked form unlike when we started meeting few months back, I had been shy of walking naked before him. Thierry was tieing up his sneakers now, I stood before him. He glanced up at me, and then turned his attention back to his shoe like I had no effect on him. "Just drop the key under the carpet as usual. I love you, happy Valentine's Day." he kissed me fully on the lips this time and jogged out. I sighed, walked to the bathroom instead. As the cold water hit my head, I relaxed in satisfaction. Grateful for no longer plaiting my hair like a normal female. I smiled again as an old memory formed in my mind, shaving my hair had been a blessing in disguise. I had gone to the barbing saloon at Iyanapaja just round about the area where we live and had requested for a haircut. My aunt recently got me a slot in the Nigerian football female under 18. Since I was skilled in football, she got connected by someone who knew someone enough to strap me in. And I felt I needed the haircut to blend. No doubt I was a good linebacker but I felt I needed to take off my hair, win myself a new look. Somehow in the process, the guys in the saloon had teased me about getting an haircut and Thierry stood out; tall, ebony with teasing biceps. Instantly I went jelly on the inside and when he talked about how well, cropped hair would suit me, I fell in love with him and his slight French accent. I was leaving Thierry's apartment when Shade called me. She was our quarterback, same age, 18 with same futuristic goal. "Mary? We have a meeting with coach today." she pressed. I groaned. "But we aren't supposed to have any meetings or training today! For crying out loud it's Valentine's day!" "Ehn, maybe he has Valentine's special for us." she giggled and ended the call. The next few minutes saw me going to the stadium where we normally had our meetings and trainings. I caught sight of the boy's under 20 team on the football pitch right next the us. My eyes caught Thierry and he winked. We weren't allowed to date each other as footballers but we did that nevertheless. I scanned the crowd quickly for Shade, saw her petite frame with ease and walked up to her. I joined in the ramble and in a short while, coach approached us with few strange faces who I guessed to be scouts. I guessed right. They were scouts from Scotland and somehow they had picked interest in some of us. Coach called out some names, my name wasn't called but my heart shattered when I heard Thierry's. "Bayo Alphonsus." The rest of us were dispatched. That night, Thierry and I had a long night together. I threw caution to the wind and slept at his place that night. I snuck back to my aunt's house in the early hours of the morning. Her endless talks about Chasity made no sense to me. Thierry was about to be signed into one of the biggest clubs in Scotland, no doubt he was going to become a celebrity so was I. Thierry and I saw each other no more, but we kept contact with each other on phone. We were preparing for women football for AFCON 2016 when I suddenly felt sick. I was beyond traumatized. I didn't want to get sick because I had pulled in all my strength to prepare for the game plus It was my chance to be sported by scouts. On the day before we left for South Africa, I asked Shade to go with me to the pharmacy. I avoided the clinic because I didn't want to be reported that I was down with fever. "I'm not sure it's malaria. You said you're throwing up, you have splitting headache and you get tired easily?" The pharmacist persuaded. She had a priceless look on her pimpled face. "Yes? What else could it be?" puzzled by her question. "When was your last menstrual cycle?" Her question seemed to set me back on reminder. Two months ago, Thierry and I had a Valentine romp and… ..I took the pill but then, could the pills fail? **********perspiration filled my underarms. I tapped on the delete key, formatting the messages I struggled to compose for an hour now. I was texting Thierry. It's been four days since we last talked. Although our communication haven't been quite strong of recent. Nevertheless, I texted him. Told him that there was something important I needed to tell him. Thierry never called, even when we flew to South Africa and I called him to hint him up, he simply rushed me off the phone. Shade wanted me to tell coach about my condition but I refused. Nature finally caught up with me when I fainted before the match. I was rushed to the hospital and coach got to know that I was 2 months pregnant. The team didn't win, neither did I win because I was bundled back to Nigeria and told not to come back to the fields until my child was born. My Aunt didn't take me in after my mistake according to her, I had created a Valentine blunder . Shade offered to share her room with me until the child was born. During this time, life wasn't easy. I took a job as an hotel attendant, and worked tirelessly to be able to save enough for my delivery. I was in my 7th month, I had just returned from work one cold rainy night, hoping to get under my blankets as soon as I got home. I did get home, but I wasn't able to get to sleep as I kept awake pondering about what Shade had just shown me. She had logged into her instagram account, and showed me Thierry. His striking features weren't deniable now. His dark skin shone like black polished wood. I was about to comment about how good he looked but the white girl he had his arms wrapped around choked the comment forcing it down my throat. A tear fell, then two, finally I couldn't control it. Somehow, Shade got to know he was the baby daddy. "we will fight him! Put him up on Linda Ikeji!" She yelled, spewing threats as though she could fight him. Truth is, Thierry was bigger than us now plus I didn't want to get dragged as a gold digger. I ignored the biting betrayal of Thierry and focused on making money. I scrubbed toilets when I had to and stayed for more hours at work for little stipends. ***My water broke when the leaves on the trees turned brown and the grounds were parched with no rain. Valentine came forth, dark thick hair, pink lips like his father's. No telling he was Thierry's he had ditched my fair skin for Thierry. I stayed home with Shade for 3 months. Finally I resumed playing football in June 2017. By then, Valentine was 8 months old. I focused on my football career, never letting anything steal away my time. "Do you know Bayo now plays for another club? This time in Eng…." Shade rattled. I tuned her off. Eventually I told her never to read me news about Thierry. Finally by November, coach brought some other scouts this time and we were told they were interested in some females. I didn't get scouted but Shade got scouted to play for a Club in Germany. Not daunted by disappointments, I moved closer to God and my child. Worked hard at trainings in the day, and at night I took up the job of a hotel attendant. Early March 2018, coach called me to a meeting in Ikeja. I left Valentine with my neighbors. "These scouts are interested in you. They said they love the way you play ball with lovely banana skills." coach said. My excitement knew no bound when I was told that the scouts were from Arsenal. One of the biggest football clubs ever known. I discussed with them but somehow our deal paused after I told them that I was a single mother. I had thought that all hope was lost when I suddenly got a call to get signed up. **********London had become my abode for two years now. I played well for the club and I was well paid. Many times, Shade and I met and had a girls time together and when she got married, I traveled down to Nigeria. During this time, most Nigerian footballers in the diaspora who were friends with Shade came home for her wedding. It was a big celebration. Valentine clung to me like glue all the while. When we were called up to dance with Shade as colleagues, my eyes caught something familiar. He turned, our eyes met. He had a slight frown on his face like he hadn't expected to see me here? Old memories rushed at me and gnawed at my heart all I felt was pain. When he shifted his gaze from me, I found out that he was staring at Valentine. In fact everyone who knew Thierry would certainly know that Valentine was his. I took a hint and whispered to Shade that I was leaving. Thierry caught up with me at the car park. I was fumbling with my car key from my purse when he showed up. "I'm sorry Mary." he bit his lips. His voice sounded remorseful nevertheless I did what I had been aching to do all these while. When my palms landed on his cheeks I was satisfied. I picked Valentine up and pointed a finger at Thierry. "Valentine swthrt, this is your father." I faced Thierry who was still nursing his cheeks. He raised his hands like he wanted to hold him. "If I was hawking on the street with my child, strapped on my back would you have embraced us? Now You See him all nicely kit up and you think you can just stumble into his life? You were one mistake I made on Valentine but I'm happy we created something special. Listen and listen good Thierry, for the years you refused to pick my calls and text me back to acknowledge this child, you will never set your hands on him. Until he turns 6 then I can let you be a co-parent but for now, I don't need you and your money!" I slammed at him. He apologized, sent his friends to speak to me but I didn't accept. After all these, I learnt a lesson for myself. The enemy of man is time and once it gets stolen, it can never be recovered except by divine intervention. Staying focused is also part of the bedrock to success and so every day I make the most out of it. |
How Do I stop addiction? You want to stop it but you don't know how! Here's how; Teenage addiction isn't a new thing anymore however it's becoming increasingly worrisome to know that a teenager who doesn't know his/her left from right is tilting towards the path of destruction. I know what it means to be a growing teenager especially in Africa. I understand what it means to have parents or siblings who do not understand your makeup, what you want and what you do not want and I totally understand what it means for you to want to feel 'among' or be on top of the world. I understand what it means to feel all left out but you want to find a way to fit in and be popular and call for attention. You want to be among the girls/boys who call themselves 'marlian', 'ake-boys', '' clique. you want to follow after a celebrity who you think has it the right way not knowing he has it the wrong way. You don't get it, in fact people just don't understand because all you want to do is 'FIT IN'. you don't want to be lost in the world and so you engage in certain kinds of addictions that would cut short your life. Yes, Abel did it and got away with it. Catherine did it and didn't die but what about you? If you do it what's the guarantee that you wouldn't DIE? AND so to fit in, you begin to indulge in drugs, and unnecessary junks, negative social vices that would profit you nothing! And then you fall slowly..... Into the sea of addiction, never finding your way out of it until light find you or you find light which one? Would you let light find you or find light? Choose light while you still can my dear teen.... Over time, addiction have risen as a result of frequent or uncontrolled desires for some certain things. For example you love taking a bottle of coke every day, such that if a day passes without taking a bottle of Coca Cola, you feel sick or irritated. Biblically, addiction is an inordinate affection or desire to something. When you can't get rid of it from your thoughts, or mind then you are addicted. I want you to know that addiction can be good and bad. Addiction is good when it's end result is something positive. For instance; when you're addicted to prayer it's good because you can never be weak in prayers. When you're addicted to cleaning or keeping the home clean, it's also very good because the house would always be clean. When you're addicted to reading, singing all these are good social vices however, if you're addicted to the bad aspect, you might not recover from it except with the help of God. Lots of young people like you these days are suffering from one addiction or the other. It might be addiction of; eating, sleeping, having sex, masturbating, watching pornography, playing video games, smoking, drinking etc... All these tend to have health, psychological and spiritual implications to it if not avoided. Years ago when I was a teenager like you, I wasn't addicted to eating or smoking but I was addicted to reading harlequin romance and telling lies. I knew just how to tailor the lie perfectly such that you wouldn't even know if I was lieing. I read erotic novels because I felt that was my only solace to understanding sexuality and what it felt to be pleasured. But dear, you never really understand the implications of all of these until it starts drawing you back and leaving you with nothing. HOW I DEALTH WITH ADDICTION I call it Satanic addiction because they didn't give a good end product. They just leave me wanting more, that would end up destroy my life or limit my growth. I didn't really attend a proper teen class or read a teen blog but God was merciful enough to convict me of my sins. It all started when I gave my life to Christ. Some young ladies came to the school to preach and an altar call was made. I got the baptism of the Holy Ghost and spoke in tongues. After that, whenever I lied, I would remember a scripture that was shared in the chapel or what the preacher said about lieing and gradually I deliberately took a step to quit lieing and then I started working towards that. And the other decision I took to stop reading those erotic romance; I also took a decision to stop even though it was difficult. Quitting addiction at first is just like stopping your regular routine and letting it take a new form. That was what happened to me. I occupied my mind and kept myself busy although I still read novels, but I read Christian fictions instead or other genres that weren't so much concentrated on romance. The word of God (bible) also helped me through. The truth is; you can't quit addiction without reading the word of God you would fall into a relapse. you have to be a word addict! Because it is the word of God that keeps you steady and encourages you. For instance; if you're currently addicted to masturbation or watching pornography and other things, I would like to let you know that you can be free. WHAT TO DO TO AVOID ADDICTIONS; *surrender your life to Jesus Christ and acknowledge him as your lord and personal saviour. Acknowledge that you're a sinner and ask him to come into your life. *Take deliberate and conscious steps to stop addictions. For example; if you smoke seven times a day, start smoking 6 times a day, after a month smoke 5 times a day and gradually you keep reducing it. *study and meditate on the word of God rigorously and never stop praying. Don't be scared about your addictions. if you're willing to stop, then you can. When Jesus Christ was tempted in Mathew chapter 4, he was just returning back from his 40 days fast when the devil tempted him. So if you are on addictions and you are currently taking time to stop, have it in mind that temptations will surely arise. You will want to go back (relapse) but answer back that temptations with the scriptures just like Jesus Christ. Say to yourself; I'm a new creation, I'm a brand new man. Old things are passed away I'm born again through Christ Jesus. And remember that you can do nothing except Christ that strengthens you. Jesus loves you. Anifaza:First check yourself, are you the problem here? Is there something u aren't doing well? If not then; Please my sister, wake up by 12am every day for 7 days and pray with psalm 109, psalm 35 and tell God exactly what u want him to do in your marriage. You need to arise and pray for wisdom for ur husband because it seems he is so immature and unwise. Stand in d gap and tell God to judge them all for you. Make sure u fast alongside and victory will surely be yours especially if you did nothing wrong to them. Anyone that wants to scatter ur marriage will be arrested IJN! Finally, I would suggest u read inlaws-outlaws and inloves by Dr Becky Enenche. It would help |
