Put sentiments aside, for months, Peter Obi has been over stressing himself all in the name of election campaign. There are some moves be made earlier that he should have been the people around him making the moves.

Travelling here and there, giving speech on different events, planning and organizing those trips can be exhausted.

The over stressed before and now , Peter Obi might go blank and collapse during the campaign, the campaign arena also have it's own factors.

Though the timing is short for the election but Obi should be calculative with his campaign strategies without over stressing himself . Health is wealth

Most Yorubas don't like Tinubu. What is making many Yorubas hellbent on supporting Tinubu is the fact that ibos have turned the whole thing into a tribal war. Many Yorubas that supported Obi the last election have switched sides for this same reason. You can't go around insulting people and think that's the way to consolidate. You now know why the word "ronu" (think/reason) triggers them.

Nigeria as a nation has a very large debt burden. We also have hefty budget deficits that have been groowing for years, and oil revenue is going largely to settle debts. If not for subsidy removal, all our oil revenue would have gone to settle debts.

One word about subsidy removal,...it is not about politics. Simple and short. Once you get why it had to go, you would support subsidy remooval, while still rightly calling tinubu a bad leader.

Whoever takes over is still going to face massive debts, and a host of other issues. And if the government wants to be a good government, it would have to

1. Tax more of the gdp
2. Borrow for rail and pipeline projects
3. Remove subsides on power, and deregulate electricity, giving discos the right to set their prices.
4. Fight corruptuon at all levels.
5. Diversify the economy

If the government does not do these things, it is a bad government. If the government returns subsidy, it is worsening your debt for you and you go feel am after a few years of cheap prices.

I await the abuse.

one thing that really pisses me off about your post is that you say poo and start playing victim while deep down you know the truth. Tinubu is a terrible leader thats only concerned about his pocket and reelection. He can go to any length to get what he wants.. subsidy removal wasn't a bad idea but the way it was managed. He did something without planning for it.

Putin openly told the world he doesn't negotiate with terrorists and he doesn't mind losing those kids as long as those terrorist were killed. The next couple of days Putin sent special forces and invaded the school premises and killed those terrorist, then sent soldiers to invade Chechnya and decimated them. Do you hear of any country challenging Russia. Ukraine is Russian territory, Zelensky was foolish to align with NATO, now the same NATO is weak to protect him.
