A goat encountered lions on his way to the stream. They spared him but in exchange he had to lead them to his herd. The herd was terrified, and the goat became very powerful, ruling with an iron fist. He sacrificed others to the Lions in exchange for power, and anyone who disobeyed him or dared to challenge his authority faced dire consequences. The goats lived in fear of him. To his subjects he was a mighty and feared king, to the Lions he was just another stupid meal ticket.
The goats finally united and decided to boycott the lion's visits, staying hidden when they came around. The lions arrived, and the goat king stood alone, thinking he'd outsmart them. "No sacrifice today," he said. "I'm the king, leave!" The lions laughed, "Where's our sacrifice? The lions asked. the goat repeated again no sacrifice I order you to leave now, then the lions looked at him and said "You are of no use to us any longer you'll be our sacrifice today." And with that, they devoured him mercilessly.
This story is not about the goat, you know who this speaks about.. the dangers of pride and power. |

On that note, I warmly invite you to join our great party, the All Progressives Congress. that's kind of you thank you, I have nothing personal against APC or President Tinubu, trust me I wish him well, but right now I don't think they are the right choice for Nigerians, I choose to be apolitical for now until I see a positive change. So I decline the request to join APC or any other political party. Once again thank you for the warm invite. |

Obiedun: No. I mean your own people who are running to Lagos by night buses on daily basis. One million will travel to their villages for Christmas but three million will come back. Their land cannot sustain them. Their land is hostile to them.Their land is unproductive. do you accomodate them? Do you pay their f@#king bills? Do you feed them? Are they begging on the streets? Are they causing nuisance in your Lagos? They do their honest business hustle making millions driving your lazy ass economy called Lagos, paying taxes, building mansions, developing estates, because Nigeria has centered the economic capital in Lagos. Open seaports down in the East and see them leave your stinking ass Lagos for you. If you can't stand them join the petition group to give them Biafra |

BlakKluKluxKlan: Nothing spiritual here at all but the clash of greedy godfathers and greedy godsons.
In the current case however, the matter was allegedly resolved on the written agreement that Fubara would be allowed to complete his first term undisturbed but will not be allowed a 2nd term.
However, Fubara, eyeing a 2nd term, decided to defect openly TO APC hoping to use that leverage to get the ticket forgetting that the state assembly is controlled by Wike's loyalists. And Wike is a frick for agreement. He never waivers from what is agreed upon. This was the major naughty issue that created the est-while G5 PDP governors. Atiku reneged on some agreements.
To resolve this problem, they will have to persuade Wike to overlook Fubara's intransigent with some inducements or vice versa - find a way to persuade Fubara to jettison his 2nd term ambition.
However, I stand corrected on my analysis ɓecause on issues of this nature, sometimes the more you look, the less you see. there was no agreement stopping Fubara from defecting to APC, so Fubara can contest on APC platform. The agreement is only effective with Fubara in PDP |

Celebrities › Comparing Fela And Wizkid.. Facts About The Duo by sweerychick(op): 1:44pm On Jan 21 |
I recently came across a disturbing comment attributed to Wizkid, claiming he's greater than the legendary Fela Kuti. As a music enthusiast, I was compelled to set the record straight. Fela Kuti was a trailblazer and a pioneer of Afrobeats, the genre Wizkid's music belongs to. It's ironic that Wizkid would insult his own musical father.
Fela's achievements are undeniable:
- He founded Afrobeats, a genre that's gained global recognition - He was a fearless political activist who challenged corrupt military regimes during Nigeria's tumultuous periods - He stood up for the marginalized and fought for equal rights, facing brutal persecution for his stance - He came from a influential family, with his mother being a prominent activist and his cousin being Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka - He founded Kalakuta Republic, a cultural hub that's still celebrated today - His music has been studied in international universities, and he has a massive following across Africa, even without the help of social media.
Now, let's look at Wizkid's facts:
- Born in the 90s to an average family - His music primarily focuses on themes of love, partying, and materialism - He's had one Grammy award and several nominations, largely due to his popularity among younger audiences - He hasn't made significant societal impacts or addressed pressing issues in his music
Comparing Fela Kuti to Wizkid is like comparing a lion to a donkey. Fela's legacy speaks for itself, while Wizkid's contributions, though notable, are on a different scale. If Wizkid wants to earn respect, he should apologize to the Kuti family for his comments.

Tinubu government is very predictable, Tinubu is just a coward a desperate coward, look at what his propaganda machine paid $9m to put up. Politics › Re: I Know Why Kwankwaso Refused To Join APC by sweerychick(f): 6:13pm On Jan 18 |
givedemwotowoto: I have put two and two together.
I said it here first that Tinubu was going to pick Kwankwaso as VP and some people thought I was kidding. They thought Shettima couldn’t be replaced, but we all saw it play out later.
That Kwankwaso plan failed because the US intervened.
If Tinubu doesn’t drop his muslim VP in 2027, Trump may take action against him. I don’t think they’ll even let him contest the election. They’ll accuse him of something and that’s all it takes.
His only chance of contesting the 2027 election is picking a Christian VP from the North.
So he dropped the idea of Kwankwaso as VP, and Kwankwaso has refused to join APC for anything other than VP position. His best chance right now is ADC with PO as Presidential candidate. Kwankwaso can never vice Peter obi, that man is too proud and arrogant. Even if he agrees I don't think Peter obi would even let him or want him. |
