I tried it, it showed successful, but when I use root checker to check, it shows that device is not rooted.
My P4 is using kitkat.

I followed all the steps too and I was not successful till I installed MT6577 USB VCOM drivers as soon as I removed my battery and inserted it back my computer read my device and it started downloading the firmware to the phone. I hope this helps

I want to start the tweaking now, I know some of the things I need are already provided here long ago. Please help with the links that would get me the following;
1. A root app that would root this phone without pc, would frameroot work?
2. Recovery tool for P4.
3. CTR or CWM for p4.
