tweaking time!!!!

I know say this one na small tweaking process but at least make I share am!

First you must be rooted

Second you must have any root explorer like es file explorer, root explorer etc

Then download this file

it's a zip file
After download unzip it

then you will see two files in .ogg format

copy them to
System/media/audio/ui

your file explorer will prompt overwrite/replace choose yes

then go to your settings and put on your screen lock sounds (by ticking it under profiles/general)

then reboot and unlock your phone to see the magic!!!!

no problem... Besides you must have a custom recovery (requires root access before flashing) then you can flash a custom ROM

reflash your jellybean through PC from the above link

Then check for update again

if you flashed your KitKat via cwm the update won't work for you

Me and hyper of WhatsApp group devised a way to update it

But u have to downgrade to jellybean with sp flash tool them upgrade to KitKat via the system update (808.3mb)

Then you can now update the 221mb update freely

Just today when i was browsing on my P4, I got a notification from "System update" on my phone saying that a new version was available for my phone.
Could this be the update via OTA that we've been waiting for?
NB: I'm running the stock gionee kitkat ROM

you're already on KitKat na.....its just an update of the KitKat

But don't even try to update it cause it won't update

Seeing from your notification drawer I can deduce you flashed your KitKat via cwm
So the update won't work

Am having problems with turning on or switching 3g between sim 1 and sim 2. when I turn on or switch 3g, the phone tends to misbehave (contacts not loading and I get the message "Android system not responding and i won't be able to use the phone ) for a long time before i can eventually use the phone to do anything. it could take between a 10minutes to like an hour. The phone is rooted with IROOT. It happened before but I reset the phone and it stopped, now it has started. really need to fix it ASAP
