GUys I noticed that my gionee m2 8gb version, came pre installed with kitkat 4.4.2 .
I tried flashing the cwm recovery in the first page but it does not seem to work. after flashing it still shows the stock recovery instead of the cwm recovery

use recovery tools or rashr {root} same thing...use it for flashing your recovery

And GIONEE m2 doesn't come with KitKat

for now that method doesn't work on KitKat but if you were on a custom ROM like aosp v1 you would have an equaliser

guys audio quality on the p4 seems bad, as in the music player is quite bad no equalizer settings, any suggestions on which player to use or what to do

there is equaliser bro buh it's hidden

If you're on jellybean I can show you how to locate it but you must be rootedrooted

since i ported to aosp,my battery drains so fast and i really need a rom that is efficient in battery management

aosp drains fast if u use xposed installer and gravity box

But I suggest u flash aosp v2.... Am using gravity box but my battery doesn't drain at all

Aosp v2 has good battery backup

you can flash no qualms

Also you won't lose your root

Boot into recovery
Wipe data
Wipe cache

Go to advanced
Wipe dalvik cache

Then go back and choose
Install zip from sdcard

Then choose the aosp v2 file you downloaded

After that wait till it finishes them reboot

Booting may take up to 5 mins

NOTE
use volume up and volume down to scroll when you boot into recovery also use power button as "OK" or "select"
