Kimbeast: Messi from 18 to 22 was not talked about in the same breathe or feared by defenders as DeLima Ronaldo was. Ronaldo at 19 was considered by most to be the best player in the world. Messi and DeLima are great players but when it comes to naturally ability and talent then Delima is number 1. Couldn't have said it any better. |

spillo1: I have talked on this before. Fenomeno with a world class team was banging in 8goals at the world cup. It's scary to think the kind of havoc and numbers Ronaldo will wreck with those Barca teams. When he had a good side he destroyed every competition and finished as top scorer. He won every copa America he started in and finished top scorer including the World Cup. When I see Suarez scoring 59goals at barca I am very certain he would have hit 70. |

I have no doubt in my mind that put Injury free and prime DeLima Ronaldo in those teams Messi has enjoyed over the years at Barcelona he will score more than Messi/Cristiano ever did. Even Luis Suarez was scoring 59goals at barca, what a luxury for any player to enjoy. |

For the players that I have watched, I have never seen a better no. 9 than Suarez. Although, his pick was did not last for long, but for me, after Messi in football, na Suarez. Why is Drogba not a better no 9 than Suarez? How many finals did Suarez score in than Drogba. |

madrid5: 1.poor education is lack of funds mostly but hindered by religion, for instance in my secondary school we spent like every morning in prayers and worship, granted it is a primary school and not every Nigerian student experienced this, then things like evolution are left out of school curriculum, why?,health sectors, economy are mostly corruption. 2.colonials and European christian missionaries built most schools like mine(Baptist high school)but most Europeans themselves are no longer religious, they have moved on,so people that brought u the religion also enslaved you have abandoned both. 3.religion is the reason for most issues and even in cases where it isn't it is a symptom Godx was right. You haven't said anything sensible at all. What does morning devotion has to do with religion being the problem of Nigeria. Which school did you attend that you weren't taught evolution, biology, chemistry and physics? |

I believe in God and my beliefs are set on not stealing, lying, commiting adultery, killing, bearing false witness and loving my neighbors as I love my self. If I obey those basic principles how is my faith a problem to Nigeria? Most of them don't even understand the concept of religion so they can't answer. |

The Koko is at that instance their was no disadvantage in letting Drogba take it. He scores good for him and Chelsea. He misses bad for him and Chelsea as well. Am trying to tell you their is no difference between his personal glory and Chelsea glory at that instance. |

That's why I said team first before personal glory.
What if Drogba took the PK and missed then Wigan equalised then Man Utd win their own match? Or what if Drogba scored and the game ended 2-2, and Drogba won golden boot while Man Utd win the league? Which one will he prefer? At that instance the team and Drogba personal glory were one and the same thing. Drogba takes the Pk and scores, he tops Rooney on the goal chart and Chelsea go 2:0 up. Win win scenario for both. There was really no disadvantage of Drogba taking that first penalty at all. |

Lampard was lucky. Assuming the game ended 2:0 and Rooney scored to top Drogba in the goal chart I swear he for beat lampard. Bad teammate. |

Just imagine it was Drogba taking those sweet sweet awoof pks to add to his 29league goals. He would have shattered the premier league record and cemented his legacy even higher. Give or take out of those 10pks he miss 3 and score 7. That's 36league goals . Lampard is a wicked somebody. |

FirstbornWds: I beg to differ a bit with other cules opinions.
Xavi is a brilliant player, no doubt. But saying he's a tier above Iniesta is kinda shocking and way too unfair. I'm not saying the guy is not good or trying to downplay his midfield prowess but man, Iniesta is just too underrated.
Ffks, Iniesta is a machine. Dude has the capacity to drop deep into defenses and cause troubles among defenders. Andre, with the ball at his feet, is a phenomenon right from the midfield to the opposition box.
Dude has the capacity to shoot long distances, dribble, score and throw passes ( He has the capacity to do the first three even better than Xavi). Xavi on his part can take control of a game better from the midfield. His output offensively is great but not as wonderful as Iniesta's.
IKON360, I agree with you as regarding Xavi's spectacular touches but man, Iniesta is not too be downplayed with the comparison of Silva and De Bruyne. They are different.
And yes, possession alone doesn't win a game for you. Creativity and ability to score goals does; which is why Andre got the MVP award in the Spanish WC triumph in 2010.
These are my opinions though. The bold is a lie. Xavi was a better passer and iniesta was not a better goalscorer than Xavi. The only thing iniesta did better than Xavi was his dribbling ability. Iniesta's record as a goalscorer considering his ability and the times he's played as part of Barca and Spains front 3 is very poor. He averaged 0.08 goals per game for Barca and 0.1 for Spain. Xavi was a better goalscorer for Barca. He averaged 0.11 goals per game, and he played deeper. He matched Iniesta's 0.1 goals for Spain, despite again playing deeper. Regarding assists as well as creativity Xavi was also more prolific and better. |

Kimbeast: Why is Koulibaly such an ambition-less player? He is wasting his prime years at Napoli when he could be starting for must top teams in Europe. I feel sad for the guy. He foolishly signed a new five year contract with Napoli in 2018 without putting a buyout clause. With that craze of a president called De Laurentiis he will sleep in Napoli. The guy rejected a 90million offer from United. Koulibaly is a big fool. |

Greatihex: I did not play football professionally. I have not been following football for 100 years like you guys. But, if you have been following football for a long time and still think that there is nothing Ferdinand would have done there, then I can't help you. Immediately the ball was in the air Ferdinand was already 3 to 4 yards away from Messi who was in acres of space. There was absolutely nothing he could do at that moment from stopping a perfect cross getting to Messi. No amount of shalayes would change that. |

Greatihex: that ball did not come with much speed like a kdb cross, so Ferdinand had enough time even after the cross left to challenge and unsettle Messi, at least. Since Messi is not very good in heading, he would have, at least, caused Messi to, maybe, head wide or over the bar. Oga it was a perfect cross to Messi. Their is nothing Ferdinand can do at that instance. Absolutely nothing. |
