Rivers people were petrified by Wike's constant threats of violence. Most people ran out of the state prior to the election. Some chose to stay indoors during the elections. Some who came out were slaughtered like animals. Some of us were constantly trailed. Yet some highly sentimentalized Ikwerrians even crowned him a "Dimgba" which in Ikwerre means a wrestle champion and a hero.
With this memory still fresh, is it not ridiculous and hypocritical for Wike to complain of political gang up? Is it not unfounded for Opus to come up with a loosed concept such as Judicial Terrorism? For the records, Amaechi is not a judge and has nobody in that council of Judges. But Wike has consistently boasted that he has his tentacles spread across all government institutions and agencies and that every person has a price tag. Among those who struck out his appeal is Justice Mary Odili; (a glaring truth cannot be veiled). Buhari has been indifferent to a fault; raising questions in the minds of some APC believers who still feel the pains of the humiliations, persecutions and the intimidation we suffered in the hands of PDP thugs, police and soldiers. The president is busy with leadership; something Ebele could not afford.
Wike should be told that the only thing that is after him is his shadows. He is ensnared by the trap he laid and forgot.

The National Industrial Court of Nigeria presided over by Hon. Justice J.T. Agbadu-Fishim, holden at Yenagoa, Bayelsa State has granted an Order of Interim Injunction against the Governor of Rivers State, the Rivers State House of Assembly and the Attorney-General of Rivers State and their agents from dissolving, suspending, sacking terminating or in any manner whatsoever interfering with the tenure of office of the 23 Local Government Councils of Rivers State.

The Order, in Suit No: NICN/YEN/26/2015, which was granted on Monday, 22nd June, 2015 followed a motion ex-parte and an affidavit of extreme urgency filed by the 23 Local Government Council Chairmen on behalf of themselves and the 23 Local Government Councils of Rivers State.

The Order also restrained the Inspector-general of Police or his agents and privies from enforcing any purported action detrimental to the existence of the 23 Chairmen and Councils in Rivers State.

The party said the Order will remain in force until the hearing and determination of the motion on notice for Interlocutory Injunction.

The APC recalled that the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State House of Assembly and the Hon. Attorney-General of the State have been hatching all manner of schemes to sack the elected 23 local Government Council chairmen in Rivers State.

APC said that, despite the presence of a few bad eggs, the judiciary remains the last hope of the oppressed.

“Therefore, we hail this decision by the Yenagoa’s National Industrial Court.”

Governor Wike has vowed that the 23 local government councils would be dissolved because the court had allegedly restrained the Rivers state Independent Electoral Commission,RSIEC,from conducting local government council election but former Governor Amaechi administration went ahead to conduct the election in disobedience of court order.

But APC and the affected council chairmen argued otherwise.

The president and first lady is still standing and waiting for the card reader to verify their cards and its been over 20 mins and the president is still standing.

After over 30 minutes of trying to get the card reader to work. accreditation has now been done for the President and family.
