@ House, ASO have bn called in all states of the federation and camp opens on the 3rd of March.

@ Ppada, gaskiya there is no live info frm our state but is posible the stories are true cos i saw substances in their info's. i called some of my own today afternn from state's to NHQ bt they said there is nothing like that yet bt promised to feed me bck when they get to office tomorow. lets c frm tomorow . atleast even if am nt called, one of my co's must make it and i will know. i wish us all luck

@Stevolat, i share in ur feelings. I am nt the DG. The gd thing is tht we dnt evn knw ourselves nor where we ar al comin frm nor our conectns if any. Whn Gadzama ws the DG, somtyms they recruit as much as d demand presnt itslf. Bt undr the current DG, ths is d first recruitmnt 4 Cadet, ASO, Detectives, Guards etc. evr since hs apointmnt lst upper year. Nw ths is the drill, if they wnt anymore Cadets, they wil do frsh recruitment 4 Cadets and nt 2 revisit previous names. Tht hs bn the Service policy 4 decades nw. Concerning the health status which is seriously examine by their own medical personels, HIV/AIDS is the main determinant factor followed by the tolerable ones like BP, Diabetis, Pile etc and the STD family. This u know that its a routine duty of every organisation to have the medical record of their staffs,incase any issue arises . One love, house.

@kaynex, my long experience in the recruitment process of the Service shows that there was never a time when a particular cadre (Cadet,ASO,Detectives etc) was called up in batches. The batches that are expected in camp nw are the ASO and Detectives which the house is hoping and praying to happen any moment from nw. One love, One mind, One Nigeria. Hope Alive

@innocentc25 and vickyhandsome, u guyz really spoke well. @Stevolat, what u should b praying for nw is to be call up for trainning and not getting busy doing some mathematics on salary maters. I wil nt tel u the salary scale but knw that SSS is nt a place of enjoyment bt pure work with less time for relaxation but life insurance wil cover u e.t.c. @ house, keep the fire burning. U'v lost out on this race already. Bt get use to it that am a Male, nt a Female as displayed in my status. @house, the fact is that all has been concluded from the NHQ and even return successful list to various Commands since early last mnth waiting for the final signal to call up candidates which might be received any moment frm nw. This is authoritative bt not all personnels who knew will even open up to u . One Nigeria.

@Gentletwits. What do u mean when u say i sound arrogant, omniscience and overconfidence in my contributions? My brother, i say without reservations that ur destiny does not lie with the DSS. It obvious, u cant handle any secret matter. My contributions in the house is strictly to ease the tension people are passing through and also give some hope even where non exist. But u dnt expect me to vomit every of my affair with the Service. @vickyhandsome, do u knw that there are times when they even take just one candidate per state? I don't want to sound as if i know better than all in the house and other followers bt this is the logic. 3 Cadets , 5 ASO and 7 Detectives per state. The higher the rank and qualification, the smaller the chances of entry. I only hope we all make it. Hope Alive.

@Stevolat, i dont have a Yes or No anwer to ur question but one thing i certainly knw is that recruitment is based on the need of the hour. If they need drivers, they recruit and train only drivers. In brief, the have several departments and when there's the need for more hands, the recruit for such departments. One love house.

@janjansin, i say a big amen to ur prayers. But some states might have a little more but certainly not less.
