Those who are in position today should focus on what they have to deliver. Leaders keep complaining about their predecessors and they end up with same problems.

I just hope Nigerian government is privatized so that foreign investors com in to manage Aso Rock.
PoliticsHow Women Pay Lip Service To 35% by symbolic(op): 9:11am On Oct 24, 2010
I find it difficult to figure out who is fooling who.

The first lady is so serious and committed to her 'Women for Change Initiative' program. Yet she goes around canvassing support for her husband who happens not to be a woman.  huh

Is the idea about getting other women's husbands out of office while securing hers?  grin

I expect the first lady to passionately support the ambition of Sarah Jibril For President or better still run against her husband to prove her commitment to the cause. Maybe 35% does not cover the sit of the president.

All the call for political offices to be regional, age, religion or gender based is selfish. Let's focus on who can do the job, not spending resources and dissipating energies on issues that will only benefit the group glamouring for them.

Our dear president's decision to rescind the ban would have come earlier not at the eve of FIFA's deadline.

How do we acertain whether the decision was reversed due to facebook comments or FIFA threat?

I personally believe that more Nigerians were in favour of the ban than those against.
IslamRe: Abuzola, That Muslim Dude That Failed Bombing Attempt In U.s - What Do You Say? by symbolic: 6:15pm On Feb 06, 2010
t.truth:
The U.S is an incredible good force. That why if you go to other muhammedan states, there are so many endless queues in the US Embassy because they will go anything to go to the U.S to get a better life. There is nothing good about Islam. Islam is nothing but evil.

It was the western imperialisation that :

1 Saved the Arabs from 500 years of Turkish oppression, ignorance, destitution and disease.

2 Brought them the concept of democracy and liberalism.

3 Dug up - literally - their history and rediscovered for them their cultural heritage through archaeology.

4 Re-discovered for them their earlier literary and scientific contributions.

5 Re-invigorated their sense of identity and self respect.

6 Brought them screaming and kicking into the 19th & 20th centuries.

7 Introduced them to amenities of hygiene, transportation, telephones and communications, irrigation, electricity, education & schools, hospitals & medicine, engineering, trains and roads etc etc.

8 Created from nothing their new political states.

Unfortunately neither the Arabs nor the Muhammadans in general, have been willing to face reality and admit their faults hence be able to rectify them. On the contrary, they live in the mind set of 'BLAME ALL OTHERS SYNDROME' for their own faults and their own inadequicies.

It is a fact that no individual or people can rectify their faults unless and until they face up to REALITY by first ADMITTING that they have a problem, then identifying the problem and following this, by resolving it.

While the Western Imperialists 'occupied' them for only a few decades and have been gone a while, the Arabs of today are still - 1450 years later - the largest and worst PARASITIC occupiers - IMPERIALISTS - of other peoples and lands on Earth, from:
Iraq & Persia to Pakistan and Uzbekstan and from Syria & Egypt to Mauritania, Mali & Chad, from Sudan to Somalia, to name just a few.
So all these were infused into your head
SportsRe: Give Three Reasons Why Amodu Should Remain Or Be Sacked by symbolic: 5:33pm On Feb 06, 2010
@Poster

Despite your hatred for Amodu as SE coach. I never expected to say Mozambique qualified us for the World Cup. If one becomes to sentimental about an issue, he becomes blind to the facts.

Do you know that it was the draw against mozambique that gave Tunisia the two points lead the maintained until the last day?

Would you have said that Kenya qualified Tunisia if we had lost or drawn the last match?

Do you know that mozambique had to win their last match to guarantee them a place in the nations cup?

Do you realise that we all felt the Eagles were not good enough when they drew in Maputo? Perhaps we were thinking that the Tunisians were better because they had not been to Maputo until the last match.

Did mozambique do us a favour by adding their points to ours to help us qualify or did they intercede on our behalf to plead with CAF to increase our points by two?

I just dont understand this issue of favour and how rational football analysts make unjustifiable comments just because they want to deprive Amodu of the glory.

Analysis should be balanced
SportsRe: Nigeria Sack Amodu, Draw Up Hiddink-led Shortlist by symbolic: 4:38pm On Feb 06, 2010
Already creating excuses for failure at the world cup. The new coach will definitely take up the job, "chop" the dollars for some months and when we we crash out of the world cup he will simply say there wasn't enough time to prepare. Whoever the coach is, he can never get the team together untill their leagues are over.

Why this decision now? Does it mean a local coach can not lead us to the world cup. I prefer Amodu, Siasia or Eguavon to chop the money because

You repaid your debt well ahead of the stipulated time & u're making noise about it? Na wa o!
He had to make noise because he was breaking a record in loan repayment. He was to start paying back the loan with effect from August 2010 to span for 5 years ie 2015. He paid up all the loan even before it was to be due for repayment.

An indication that even though cement manufacturing is capital intensive, its actually a money spinner. One needs to visit Obajana to see how trucks of cement are rolling out with ease everyday.

He is still expanding the factory to increase capacity by 50% and paying off a huge loan at thesame time.

Its also a message to Sanusi that he is paying up his loans wink

This guy has really impacted on the economy of the nation and still expanding. He should be appreciated and supported.

People may decide to follow any group they decide based on their understanding, passion, influence and other factors. What they will all agree on is they the fact that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is our best guide and his examples we are to follow.

Whoever strays from His rightly guided path for whatsoever reason does so at his/her own peril. If those that differ only sit to ponder and avoid following or acting upon things which can not be authentically linked with the Prophet (PBUH), then whatever name you call yourself or whatever group you may belong to, you are sure to be on the right path. Allah knows best.

Ok, My Advise just dont be too choosy irrespective of basic u av highlighted above (muslim) cos u might get delussioned into believing what u see facially.

I just got hooked up a couple of months ago and i can tell u their are alot of sisters out there.

My PROBLEM

It All started about six months ago when walk up straight to my Head of Department and complain that she has to equally share job responsibility with my senior colleague in the office.

I work in an HR department in a particular company and am the third in command but the problem is i virtually do all the work because my HOD believes i deliver in time. This senior colleague of mine own a company which pre occupy is time, which do not make him devout more time to the job.

What prompted me to ask for this is the guy is a politician and he wined and dine with some HOD'S and goes about telling people that my HOD do not give him work to do that we r turning the department into a muslim thing.I heard all these from my step sister and well wishers.

Though i dont like working with women( cos she is), She was very angry when i explained all these, she shared the job, at first she thinks am joking not until if she minute a job for me to do i will take it back to her, she gets angry in which i have decided to take a stand for my action.

Although i know more responsibilities is for my personal development but really its as if HR is all on me.I know she is very disappointed, at any trivial issues she shout at me and she lie sometimes when she gives instruction to me to do something and if it does not work she change and say something else.Am a Concious muslim i have never backbite on her or incite people against her cos this happened a few weeks ago.6 months ago there is this new graduate engaged by my company and posted to our dept, the problem is this graduate cant take decision herself when giving work to do and she always come to take advice, she however made mistake and when my HOD ask her where she got the advise from she mentioned my name, i was really angry with her and did tell her never mention my name or come for solution to problem cos it will look like am inciting her against my HOD.

Am sorry i dont like writing stories thats why i av to break the story to bring out the salient points.

Two days ago she gave me the job of my senior colleague with the excuse that i know he is not around( she means attending to his biz) i oblige and took the job from her.My problem is she would bring more of this and bring excuses, WHAT SHOULD I DO PLEASE MY BRETHEM?

Thanks in anticipation of your favourable response ( Please let it be from the ISLAMIC PERSPECT)
Your problem is quite complicated. As much as possible you try to do what you can.

Just assume your colleague does not exist and you do the best you can even if it a bit demanding. You must avoid a situation whereby your boss feels you are trying to disobey her.

Since she's aware that your colleague is running is business and its okay by her, there is nothing you can do otherwise if you complain, they may conclude that you are envious.

Thank you my sister. You see, there is this defamation campaign to create an atmosphere of fear around Islam to discourage people from considering Islam as an alternative. They can only succeed to the extent that Allah permits.

They are always eager to go to the media if there is anyway the can link violence with Islam. They definitely cannot extinguish the light of Islam with all these slander. Its surely wasted effort.

I wil say due to what your muslim brother has caused to Nigeria you all should be ashamed of yourselves and none of you deserve to be heard again on this forum in fact as a matter of fact i will spit on any of you should in case we
happen to meet.

I now hate the religion called muslim their foolish and insolent actions around the world has caused heavy
chaos to my trip back to Nigeria from U.S on the 3RD OF JANUARY 2010.

I almost regret being a Nigerian; and if i were to be muslim today i will rather and speedily convert to Atheism.

You muslims are morons you all deserve to be extinct out of this world. And to all Nigeria even though you are pastor expect serious embarrasment whenever you goin for holiday and it includes your family.
Dont you think your ideas are extreme? Remember that Umar farouk may have felt same way towards the American and that maybe responsible for his unjustifiable action.

If his action drives you this crazy because it caused you chaos on your journey and you are directing it to all muslims, then Umar may even be better than you because he directed his anger at the nation that might have driven him crazy (for what ever reason) and not all Christians.
PoliticsRe: Terror List: Close Islamic Schools And Be Delisted - Us Tells Nigeria by symbolic: 11:34am On Jan 09, 2010
Did Umar Farouk learn his views from Islamic schools in Nigeria or when he was in London. Why is London out of the equation? Why were they not listed?

Its rather unfortunate and I think its time to start looking inwards rather than think of what to do to please western countries so we could travel there for greener pastures. tongue

Maybe if we were as developed as UK, we would never have been listed.
