Politics / Re: OBAFEMI AWOLOWO INTERVIEW: Twenty Pounds Policy And The Igbos by T8ksy(m): 5:41pm On Apr 17 |
Chikel20000: Yeah, of course, fulanis have never perceive you guys as friends, if fact, they reserved the same sentiment towards all southerners, including yorubas who they spent the 1800s trying to subjugate them but to no avail. As far as the fulanis are concerned, ALL southerners are "infidels" regardless of their religious or ethnic affiliations and should therefore be conquered or annihilated but unfortunately, you igbos obdurately refused to peruse the "writings on the wall" (in 1945 and again in 1953), insisting on One united (indesoluable) Nigeria. Oh well, your wishes has been granted. Enjoy. 1 Like |

Minsk24: Nigeria can never progress, especially not with the obnoxious constitution we are running. The owners of Nigeria will never acquiesce to anything that changes the status quo. They are the sole beneficiary of One fake Nigeria and they are loving it. They will never relinquish their hold on power which they have held on to since independence, apart from Ironsi's 6months interjection. ObJoke was a Fulani proxy president, ditto emilokan. 2 Likes |

7lives: Don't mind these guys, o jare! Pa Awo ( after his incarceration by the duo of Ahmadu bello & zik) on his release by Gowon, carried his aged body all the war to Enugu to dissuade Ojukwu from going to war, intimating him about the horrors of war. Ojukwu came out the following day to tell bbc reporters that the old man was just talking platitudes. Ojukwu wanted war and sadly, he got the war he was hankering for. 2 Likes |

festacman: This is the first time, am hearing that, the Northerners who unleashed pogrom on biafrans (during the war), returned their properties to them after, when conquered igbos went back to the north. So my question is, was there "Abandoned properties " in the north as it was in the mid-west after the gratuitous civil war? |

nku5: @ bolded part, above.........it was obvious to discerning minds (then) that this was the rationale behind the Jan 15th coup by the ibos - their principal have been pushed out of the corridor of power, consequently , they felt this was the right time to seize power from those "illiterate" abokis. Oh well, the rest is history as they got their silly a.r.se.s well and truly spanked! 1 Like |

Seun was right-Tinubu has nothing to offer nor can he alleviate the sufferings of the common man. Am yoruba but definitely refuse to partake in their dubious s/election. I warned you guys that Tinubu's govt cannot stop herdsmen killing yorubas in Yorubaland. Have I not been vindicated? In just one week, 3 first class monarchs were slaughtered by fulani herdsmen in Ekiti and Kogi states. 3 Likes |

Puss360: Too late! Nigeria has deteriorated so much over the decades (since independence) that any form of cosmetics will only be a fruitless effort. Nigeria is irredeemable and there's no messiah (in or outside the country) that cave save the country. Break up Nigeria and save lives. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Bendeco2020: And why would they? When the people in the East (even though not at war) are migrating enmass towards the west. I posit that even the "Igbo Lagosians" would rather run with the yorubas towards Benin republic than go back to their ancestral land. 9 Likes 3 Shares |
