Pls re read the passage u just quoted. The true meaning of backsliding are not what u listed below. What u listed below are only fruits of backsliding.

The bible says..".....For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,than,after they
have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them."

What the above text means is that backsliding is going from God's Grace offered at the cross by His blood to trying to obey the laws of the old testament which the bible already says is a ministry of death. Obeying the 10 commandments is like telling God that you can be righteous by yourself instead of by Jesus. Thats self righteousness which is detested by God.

A lot of xtians are guilty of this most likely as a result how we were raised

Yes, this is interesting, we find this passage coming from the pen of peter. If anyone know the reality of firsthand backsliding, it must be peter , the night he betrayed our Lord Jesus christ .

The process of backsliding is a gradual one, often overtaking one by surprise (peter could not believe,he will deny Jesus) . And lest we fall from our own steadfastness, We shall carefully examine the process that led to Peter's denial of Christ, followed by noticing how Peter's own words in his epistles are designed to prevent the same from happening to us!

1. PRIDE.
Mark 14:27-31,
"And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee. But Peter said unto him, ALTHOUGH ALL SHALL BE
OFFENDED, YET WILL NOT I. And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all."

In a boastful manner, Peter claims he
will not fall away or deny Christ! In
doing so, Peter takes the first step in
backsliding: "pride" (Proverbs 16:18).
Why is this the "first" step? Because
the first step in entering the kingdom
is HUMILITY( Mathew 18:3-4). So if we
lose "humility", we take that first step
BACKWARD.

2.COWARDICE.
Mark 14:54,
"AND PETER FOLLOW HIM AFAR OFF , even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire."

Is this not cowardice? When Jesus was healing and the people love Him , peter walk by His side, and now when Jesus was unpopular, he walk afar off,is this not the same peter who vow to follow Jesus ? . Peter was unprepared for the challenge of facing ridicule and persecution. Without diligent preparation, we too can become guilty of cowardice! Ashamed to be seen carrying the scriptures. Ashamed to be seen giving thanks. Ashamed to be seen with other believers in Christ. Perhaps
even ashamed to let others know that
we are believers! And yet, Jesus has made it clear what He thinks of "cowardice" (Mark 8:38)

3. DENIAL.
Mark 14:66-71,
"And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest: And when she saw
Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.But he DENIED, saying, I know not, neither understand I
what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. And a maid saw him again,and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.
And he DENIED IT AGAIN. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech
agreeth thereto. But he began to CURSE AND SWEAR , saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak."

First he "DENIED" and later he" CURSE AND SWEAR "(which Jesus Himself warn against) Away from Christ, at comfort with those in the world, Peter finds himself denying His Lord and Savior! In so doing, he has put himself in grave
danger (Matthew 10:32-33). Though
we may never actually deny Jesus in
"words", we can easily backslide to
the point of denying Him in "action."

In conclusion, amazingly, it was peter himself who give advice from backsliding christians;

1. To Guard Against Pride:
Peter enjoins "humility" (1Peter 5:5-6).
Indeed, "God resists the PROUD, but gives grace to the HUMBLE."
2. Instead of Cowardice:
Peter charges us to "glorify God" (1 Peter 4:16). Think NOT of what it means to
you, BUT what it means to God!
3. Instead Of Denial:
Peter exhorts us to ever be ready to "give a defense" (1Peter 3:15).
By careful preparation, we will "DEFEND " Christ, and NOT "DENY" Christ!

She/he is obviously deluded. There was a difference between living under the law and under Grace. Under the law, there were great demands to meet the requirements or else you suffer the consequences of death for all have fallen short of the glory of God. The bible said behold, i place before you Life and Death; blesings and curses. Keep the law and get blessing. Break the law and get curses, so the onus was on man to choose. Righteousness was based on man's actions or not.

Under Grace, He is merciful and just and remembers our sins no more. Under Grace, its not about man to choose but about Jesus who has chosen on our behalf because we are unable to keep the law. Spot light is on Jesus. He is the giver and He freely gives. Righteousness is not based on man's actions or not but on Jesus' works on the cross

Notice all he/she's bible quotes were from the old testament were the law reigned

Bottomline is God is merciful, good, kind, all loving, awesome, provider, healer, great, wonderful councellor, almighty.

He has given man the free will to choose between life and death, blessings and curses. If u choose to live under the law, obviously you choose curses cos the law is regarded as the ministry of death in the bible while Grace by the Holy Spirit is regarded as the ministry of Life.

So choose grace, choose Jesus, be born again and choose life and life over abundantly.

Note: Being born again is not about changing ur attitude and actions even though thats very important but the root of it is changing your mindset. Once your mindset is changed towards Jesus, your attitude and actions will automatically change for the better.

True repentance is all about changing your mindset and believing in the finished works of Jesus at the cross.

Listen, prayer is a form of worship. U r not praying to remind God but to constantly have a rship with Him in worship. Its who ur closer to that will always be top of d mind for u. Simple!!

I had the same issue until i blocked all cloud syncs like dropbox and google, also blocked the torrents which gives connection access to third parties by visiting a torrented site. In short, i blocked everything except youtube downloads which i hardly use.

I also brought down my speed from 4G to the least one. Cant remember the name used.

Now, i'm fine.

why ministry leaders almost never “feel the
leading of God” to go to smaller ministries and
places of lesser significance. God always
seems to “call” pastors and ministry
professionals to bigger churches, richer
ministries, and positions with greater power.

While I do not deny that God sometimes leads
people in these directions, I think that more
often than not, God wants to lead us
downward, but we refuse to go. Of course, this
does not mean that we will stay in the gutter if
God leads us there. God may very well lift us
up out of the gutter to a place of prominence,
but when He does so, He gets the glory
instead of us.

That’s why this is such a dangerous Christian
prayer. We want to be used by God for great
things in His kingdom, but God’s path to
greatness usually does not mirror what we had
in mind. God’s path to greatness usually leads
to prison, death, and the gates of hell.
Also (and this fits with #1 above), when we
pray this prayer, we will often be faced with a
choice between two ministry positions, one
that leads to honor, glory, and fame, and one
that leads to obscurity and insignificance.
Though the temptation is to choose glory and
honor, such decisions may actually be a choice
to follow Jesus downward into humility.

I once heard Francis Schaeffer say in an
interview that if given the choice between two
ministry positions, we should choose the one
with less fame and glory.

4. Help me understand the
plight of the poor.

This Christian prayer is like asking God to make
you poor. Yikes! How can you understand the
plight of the poor unless you become poor
yourself?!
So do you like your nice house, your two cars,
your steak dinners, and your Caribbean
vacations? Don’t ask God to help you
understand the plight of the poor.

5. Make me more like
Jesus.

In one way or another, this has been a constant
life prayer of mine. A couple years back, I
realized that this prayer ruined my life.
I had my life all figure out, and it was all going
according to my perfect plan. Then I started
praying this prayer. Before long, all my hopes
and dreams lay shattered around my feet. I often
tried to pick up the pieces and glue everything
back together, but God would come through with
His baseball bat and smash it all to hell (almost
literally… all of my plans and dreams deserved
nothing more).
When you pray to be like Jesus, God will begin to
break down, burn away, and slough off anything
and everything in your life that does not look like
Jesus. This sounds nice until you begin to
experience it. The purification of our life may be
with God’s refining fire, but it sill burns!.

6. Give me more faith.

Christians like our beliefs in nice, neat packages.
But life is not like that, and neither is life with
God.
When Christians pray for God to give us more
faith, we are likely to enter into some of the
difficult and doubt-filled times of our lives. You
will begin to question everything you have never
known and everything you have ever believed.
You may even begin to doubt God’s goodness
and maybe even His existence.
This is not bad. Embrace the doubts. Understand
that if what you believe it true, it can stand up
against all questions. Truth does not fear a
challenge. There is no other way for your faith to
grow than for your faith to be tested.

7. Give me victory over sin
and temptation.

How do you think victory comes, except through
ever-increasing cycles of temptation? Sure, God
does not send the temptations, and He never
allows us to be tempted with more than we can
bear, but if we pray for God to give us victory
over sin and temptation, this is the same thing
as asking God to strengthen us so that we can
stand up under greater and greater temptations!
So if you pray this Christian prayer, be ready for
an onslaught of all the wiles of the devil.

8. Please help my
annoying neighbor/
coworker come to Christ.

This is a great Christian prayer. Except guess
how God is going to help your annoying neighbor
or coworker come to Christ? That’s right. He’s
going to use you.
I once heard a story of a Bible study group who
decided to make a prayer list of all the people
they “disliked” the most, and then pray for these
people every week as part of the Bible study.
Over the course of the next ten years, all but one
of the people on that list became believers, and
almost all of them became Christians because
the members of that Bible study showed grace,
love, mercy, and forgiveness to these “annoying”
people.

If you are going to pray for someone, be
prepared to answer your own prayers.

Its advisable to create a separate account for your clients. So if they wish to discontinue your services, you can hand over to them their login details to cpanel and others. If the webhost supports an affiliate program, use it on their account. And get discount for other jobs.

Whogohost and syskay.com are both nigeria webhost providers and are both good. But syskay now has a problem with sending mails.
All mails sent from the website you hosting with them goes to spam box. I dont know why?
This cost me my reputation at a time. An ecommerce site i created had all its payment, cart, check out messages going to the mail spam. This would ruin the reputation of your site. So lets put it aside for now. (Tested one 3 others websites same problem)

I havent had any problem with whogohost yet. And they have 24 hours customer care service, cheaper, good speed, affiliate program and help you with webpay integration.

IF YOU KNOW ANY OTHER GOOD NIGERIA WEB HOST BLA BLA LET US KNOW

If you doing a big project go for foreign hosts like hostgator or godaddy. They are more expensive (dollar ish u know) but reliable. They can handle websites with lost of traffic.

Very very true. Why do we want to be like the pharasees with long repetitive prayers as if God were a robot. Bible says even before we as, He has answered and while we are still speaking, He has heard. So why lack faith with long prayers?

In fact, we should do much more of speaking in tongues than words we can understand (doing this in private prayer sessions, edifying yourself)
