PETERiCHY: ACCESS BANK is trading @t almost half the price of UBA.
BARGAIN HUNTERS WATCH THAT SPACE 🚀 HesInMe: Only the truly brave see diluted bank shares as a "bargain" as interest rates fall.
Who wants to volunteer to catch a falling knife? First Quarter 2025 will give us better direction regarding the banks that raised additional Capital last year. As for Access bank I think it's really undervalued. |

essentialone: Afrinvest I don't know much about Afrinvest. As for all the stockbrokers who services I have experienced, assuming I buy 100 units of A @ 1 per share with total commission 1%, the cost price per share will be 1.01. If I later buy additional 20 units of A @ 2 per share with 1 % commission. The new cost per share will be (1.01 * 100 + 2.02 * 20) ÷ 120 = 1.18 |

essentialone: There is one very wrong thing that most stockbroking firms do. When you previously have 1,000 units of Stock A at the Cost Price of N1.00 and you later buy same just 10 units of same Stock A, when the price is now N2.00, they just add up the 2 prices and give you a new Average Cost of N1.50 Am I the only one that sees this practice as being very wrong? Which stockbrokers are you using? |

Frangel: EPS stated in the report is 1.23kobo. Less than 2kobo. Different from 123kobo which is same as N1.23 Notice the word "kobo" in bracket. Learn to always do your own calculations. The group reported a profit of over 13 billion, divide it by os of about 10 billion and decide the actual eps. |

talk2me2: Make no mistake, the result in page 15 is that of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Limited. While the report in page 53 is that of Consolidated Hallmark Holding PLC.
You may like to read page 1 to understand the structure of the Holding Company (the group).
All the three pages attached are from the audited financial statement.
NB: This is not a recommendation The 980 million in page 15 is the profit from the Insurance company. While the 13 billion in page 53 is the profit from the entire group (the insurance company inclusive). Please do your own research. I do not recommended stocks on a social media |

Locotrader: I will advice you visit the NGX site and download the reports yourself.
The audited result was released on 30th October.Profit is 980m.This I think is the true result.
On 1st Nov another report which I guess is unaudited was published and if the 13B profit which translates to EPS of 1.20+ is true, market is supposed to respond ASAP despite the bleeding on stocks these days.
Let us do more research on Consolidated Hallmark Group .
@ Mercy ,pls kindly check these 2 reports and respond. yMcy56: Basis of reporting seems to be in conflict here....... I wonder why we have two separate reports (interim and audited) when the Audited was ready actually.
The released report for Oct 30th was the Audited and true one, from my own checks. PAT: 980M. Make no mistake, the result in page 15 is that of Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Limited. While the report in page 53 is that of Consolidated Hallmark Holding PLC. You may like to read page 1 to understand the structure of the Holding Company (the group). Raider76: With this explanation I wonder if Morgan are third party brokers. When I filled the e-dividend with the registrars of Linkage Assurance they told me I have to fill a transfer form with my brokers because the shares are in my broker's name. It is normal that's one of the two ways to send your signature specimen to the registrars. The second way is to approach your banker for a confirmation of signature that comes with a charge. Without the registrars having your signature specimen they will not be able to mandate your account for e dividend, no matter the stockbrokers you are using the procedure is the same. Morgan Capital Securities is not a third party stockbrokers. |

In light of the allegations against GTBank, especially the 10,000 'fake bank accounts', I like to suggest that the CBN, commercial banks, microfinance banks, fintechs, other financial institutions and their regulators should come together and create a ussd code that customers/clients can dial to see all the accounts that are tied to their BVN, TIN, Reg. NO., Phone etc. If there is any of the account that the customer did not recognize, they can report the account to the appropriate authority for necessary action. @ no cost to the customer/Client. The illegal activities of Internet fraudsters as well as some banks staffs can be checkmated.
I am neither for nor against GTBank. |

ucheson2: Just imagine how useless this bank is, at a time like this that financial institutions (banks, insurance, etc) in Nigeria are declaring astronomical profits, that's when NPFMCRFBK is making lesser profit yoy. The way they are going they may declare outright loss in there Audited 2024 account. I expect the market to punish them for this sin. N1 per share is loading. I will not touch this one until ... I'm wondering why there own profit is going down when every financial institution in naija profit is going up. When the rest where investing in profiting ventures, npf was busy mounting road blocks and collecting b**be . They may become the only bank on NGX that will be trading below NGN 1 by Dec 2024. |
