The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has directed telecommunications companies in the country to suspend the sales and reactivation of new SIM cards.

As contained in a letter signed by A.I. Sholanke, NCC’s Director for Projects and dated 7th December, the commission gave an an audit of the subscriber registration database in compliance with a directive by the federal government as reason for the development, as it threatened strict sanctions, including a possible withdrawal of the operating license for the erring telecommunication provider.

Twitter went wild yesterday with the #Sugarmummy trend. Nigerian guys were the mastermind of the hashtag, throwing shades and bants on the ladies. Even those still collecting transport fare from their parents joined the trend- Wetin Musa no go see for gate!


The #Sugarmummy trend was a result of the regular girlfriend wahala and bants about how a sugar mummy would react if she was the girlfriend, the ladies jumped on the trend as well........

The Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, speaking at the commissioning of the newly constructed Senator Bayo Osinowo 28-room block of flats at Agboyi Ketu Local Council Development (LCDA) secretariat on Agboyi Road, Alapere. In what appears to be a gradual push for less-dependence on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol, the Federal Government is set to roll out the much-talked about National Gas Expansion Programme.

According to a statement by Garba Muhammad, a media aide to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, the launch of the auto gas programme was the culmination of the resolve of the Buhari-led government to deepen domestic usage of natural gas in its various forms.
