“Ha! Our president has goofed again,” said Simon in the CMS-bound commuter vehicle. “Please, leave him alone. His speech writer and media people should handle all that and let him face the business of governance squarely,” said Taju. “You sure say im get speech writer? He wants to run a lean government so I will not be surprised if he has none. By the way, what was the goof apart from the All Nigeria People’s Congress? asked Ken.” “Noo, that one don pass nah! No big deal. After all, there was All and Congress. The goof was when he said US is aiding and abetting Boko Haram by refusing to sell arms to us in the war against the terror group,” said Simon. “Oh, I like President Buhari’s boldness and bluntness. He was bold enough to say it the way it is, period! So how is that a goof?” asked Taju. “The Presidency denied it and apologised to Obama and the Americans. They said PMB only told them that their application of the Leahy Law, which prohibits sales of certain weapons to countries whose military are accused of human rights violations, was hampering the war against terrorism ,” said Simon. “Why do we always apologise for something we know to be the truth?” asked Taju. Replied Simon: “Because from what I heard, heads are going to roll; whoever slotted in that Leahy law into the speech will have to pay for his sins.” “It’s all about diplomacy. These are the days of walking on eggs. Even President Obama is walking on eggs too. An American journalist recently lashed out at him for describing the incident in which four US marines were shot dead in Chattanooga, US by a suspected terrorist as a ‘workplace violence’ just to sound politically correct, instead of calling it what it is, a terrorist attack on US soil and military centres. So PMB should try to be politically correct at times,” said Ken. “As far as I am concerned, it is double standard on the part of the US. After all, we all hear of the human rights abuses perpetrated by its Armed Forces. Ask the Iraqis, those at the Guantanamo Bay and others. So they should stop that crap about human rights abuse. Some of the so-called human rights abuses by our soldiers were perpetrated by the terrorists in their usually incomplete military uniform. They put on military camouflage and then put on slippers. They upload the videos and Amnesty International swallows it line, hook and sinker without verifying the authenticity. They close their eyes to the atrocities committed by Boko Haram. Please, tell us something else,” said Stella. “Where do the terrorists get their weapons from?” asked Simon. “I wonder oo. Must we go to the US for arms? They denied us under GEJ and the man went to South Africa. We can get from China and Russia and we can make ours. Whatever happened to DICON and our Army engineers and inventors?” asked Ken. “Seems the Boko guys have regrouped and restrategised and came out stronger. I wonder what happened to the tempo and the zeal of the soldiers just before the inauguration of the new government. At least, they were gaining so much ground and suddenly, we seem to have gone back to square one. The terrorists are maiming and killing people; burning and sacking villages daily. It’s time to wake up,” said Stella. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/buhari-from-america-with-what/ |
fruitfulBROTHER:it's the APC way of life besides they don't know the meaning of ideology, that's a very strong word |
I just got confirmation that rabid rantings and insults are genetically engineered into ALL APC supporters hence the similarities in their attitudes all over the place. They should be taken to good vet doctors as soon as possible |
With characters like this (which was the main reason why he was hired I dare say) you wailing wailers and other well meaning Nigerians should get ready for a torrid time on the internet.

Hassan080196:you're just so sad sha ![]() |
fruitfulBROTHER: if you follow Nigerian politics, you would realize and agree with me that the APC have effectively taken over the mantle of opposition from the PDP combining it superbly with their leadership status. This is evidenced for example by the squabbles amongst their members in the national assembly and even amongst those in the upper echelons of their party hierarchy. The APC is the leading opposition party in Nigeria right now ![]() ![]() ![]() |
fruitfulBROTHER:APC are the number one opposition party in Nigeria. Get your facts right |
akonibobo:I saw the link on twitter this morning, surprised it got to nairaland with another heading |
Maybe the demonic APC meant 1 billion Zimbabwean dollars ![]() |
The APC should please leave/keep some lies for the devil to tell, he is gradually being rendered jobless by their spate of lies eg rejection of Rolls Royce in London, public declaration of assets, sale of apache helicopters by US government etc. Signed The Wailing Wailers

I laugh when I see the vituperations of those pretending to be mórons. I say pretending because it's almost impossible to be that stupid except you were born that way. Was the author born that way ? I can never tell. All of a sudden, boko haram have been hitting choice targets at will with virtually no resistance from the Nigerian government. Nnamdi Kanu and the Biafran agitators have been broadcasting treasonable messages on fm bandwidths with Nigerian authorities impotenţ on what to do or how to go about it BUT when it comes to my people, you will másturbate in glee and tell them "no, you guys should not talk to each other" even though the constitution allows for freedom of association. But then again, as I've said severally we are practicing a democratic dictatorship and that will be my stance until further notice. I only blame fóols like E.K Clark and King A.J Turner for putting us in this mess. Long live the Ijaw man Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria PS; keep your insults to yourself or argue with your ancestors. |
ReggieMedia:first of all, we have to consider the constitutionality of such an action by the FG i.e. disbursement of such funds with national assembly approval. Bear in mind, a senator from Ebonyi state has taken the federal government to court over this matter. Secondly, are the monies going to be used for the purposes which the governors said they would be used for primarily the payment of state civil servants ? Third who ensures that these bail out funds are judiciously used since the state houses of assembly can no longer be relied upon to act as watch dogs over the governors ? |
Bail out from what ? The financial recklessness of the governors mostly due to vanity projects or poorly thought out economic policies ? We should be really worried right now in this country, the price of oil is about to take further hits and if these governors were irresponsible in the days of plenty necessitating a bail out, something tells me they will pull an Oliver Twist on the FG again begging for another bail out very soon.

This clinotech of Canada issue is a topic I raised up years ago but children of hate and anger told me to shut up because he's a "progressive". The truth of the matter just like that of the monorail scam will soon come out, just wait and see |
Hello house, I downloaded Spotify yesterday but I've not been able to sign up either with my email or facebook account. In the case of facebook, I keep getting incorrect username or password is incorrect while the email option keeps telling me I've not completed some fields I'm supposed to fill. |
Oby should concentrate on what she knows how to do best i.e. Looking for lost children who are actually not missing. You can't allow small CNBC to be giving you ela oju kan in public just like that ![]() |

4Play:I'm looking for CNBC email address, I will post it here

Please concentrate on chibok girls business
|
dustmalik:you're just a fool. Boko haram has been wiping your people out gradually for eons and you couldn't say pim. |
Per second news Apache helicopters Our fighter pilots will then have to be re trained to operate these equipments which will take considerable time Doesn't make sense in the short term of its meant to be used in the civil war taking place in the north east.
|
Boko haram is having a field day up north bombing choice targets at will, Fulani herdsmen are having fun in the middle belt decimating choice villages and conducting a systematic genocide with no iota of resistance from the govt but rather when some Ijaw men called for a meeting, some bigot fools here are chanting"target practice". Really, there was a nation. If at this stage of our existence for almost 101 years we still don't know where the shoe pinches us or what is important to us on a scale of preference as Nigerians. As I said a while ago, I'm taking a back sit on certain issues till the appropriate time. Una good morning. |
barcanista:growing up, we were told that what an elder sees while sitting down, a youth would never see even if he climbed the tallest iroko tree. I pity these apc e-rodents. I just pray by 2019, we won't have cause to say "I told you so" because this country belongs to all of us regardless of party affiliations. Buhari should serve this nation with a conscience because of our tomorrow rather than vindictiveness. I can only advice him that awuf dey run belle, the cheers he feels he will receive for such a prove might just be what will purge him |
Arrester171:it's not a laughing matter at all. Your economy is in shambles and nobody either in the corridors of power or amongst their party faithful seems to care. I really want/need this administration to work even though I didn't support Buhari during the last elections and I don't support the APC but this is my country and this is where I feed and take care of my bills from. How do you want the Americans to take you serious when on your entourage, you brought your 32 year old son for fight seeing, a governor brought his wife over for an FG sponsored honeymoon and an ex governor was brought along to baby sit the president's son. The only "achievement"so far off this trip is that the president slept at Blair house. I hope I'm wrong but right now I'm very afraid for this country. |
....""He can’t afford to go too deep into the past or else it will be destructive for his administration." Femi Adeshina This is the main Koko øf the matter. This administration will be destroyed the moment it tries to probe ones from the "far past" especially ex military leaders like Babangida and those with strong ties like Obasanjo. Apart from that, you can't fight your mentor successfully and get away Scot free. Meanwhile, barcanista it seems you have ruffled some feathers high up in the corridors of power for the real wailing wailers who reside in the apc to come out attacking you like rabid dogs instead of countering your valid points with arguments of their own |
