Ogbunabali people warned him korokoro to carry his so called development elsewhere that they didn't beg him for it. Amaechi couldn't even touch a fence there |

This is human life we are talking about here and one of the drivers must had galloped out of the undulating surface and lost control of the vehicle. Please, this is blamed on poor road development! if you like pack into Yaba left as an in patient and see if I give a damn. Just look at the rubbish you posted here and see if you made sense. To the house and especially those who ACTUALLY drive cars, is it possible to move at top speed on bad roads especially the ones we have in Nigeria ? On a bad stretch of road, do you drive at a high gear without your legs hitting the breaks constantly ? I hate it when ignorant people decide to have an opinion in matters they know nothing about. Politics › Re: Latest Oil Price: $44 per Barrel - Crisis Looming by talktimi(m): 1:36pm On Oct 11, 2014 |
GenBuhari: Start with the premise that Boko Haram is a CIA terror creation and most of their terrorism only exists on the pages of newspapers and do not actually occur.
Do you realise how unrealistic it is that 300 girls would be kidnapped?
Who in their right mind will take on the burden of housing feeding and clothing 300 girls?
From the beginning there has been inconsistencies about even the number of girls, the age of the girls but most crucially they is no formal list of names or photographs , which is the first thing you would expect a responsible govt to publicise.
The story just didn't ring true from the outset, it became clear to me later that it was just an excuse for USA troops to be on the ground in Nigeria using the pretext of searching for the girls.t
Once USA troops entered Nigeria publicity about the Chibok girls was quietly dropped and all the twitter campaign #Bring Back Our Girls is suddenly allowed to die down.
There was never any real agitation from parents of the girls, so it appears that the whole Chibok girls issue was a hoax used to invite USA troops into Nigeria. you're trying to say people like Alh Asari were right all along ? The things you said are weighty but logical and I also wondered why the sudden silence even from mrs Ezekwesili. Apart from a military take over, how else do you think the events you predict can be averted ? |
Politics › Re: Latest Oil Price: $44 per Barrel - Crisis Looming by talktimi(m): 11:51am On Oct 11, 2014 |
GenBuhari: I concur, but I have been saying last year that USA would probably cause oil prices to crash in order to achieve its rumoured aim of breaking up Nigeria. It just so happens that the Ukraine crisis also fits into the strategy, so USA can "kill 2 birds with one stone " so to speak.
The hope for this country now is if our military steps immediately to take over power before the USA has time to implement it plan and whilst it is still preoccupied in taking over Syria. ok, you have a point but why do you believe that the kidnap of the Chibok girls is a fallacy ? |

Politics › Re: Latest Oil Price: $44 per Barrel - Crisis Looming by talktimi(m): 5:01am On Oct 11, 2014 |
GenBuhari: Why do you ask, I have been predicting the oil price crisis since last year. well, there was bound to be a drop in prices sooner or later after all, we had bee, having it good at over a hundred dollars foe quite a while but if you're really looking for why the U.S is causing a drop in crude oil prices (through flooding the market) then I would suggest you check towards Russia and not Nigeria (long story but it has to do with Ukraine , sanctions and counter sanctions). The issue of sectarian violence on a large scale in Nigeria is rather what I'm really scared of. The average Nigerian on the streets doesn't care for our politicians and their shenanigans but you really don't need the average Nigerian to cause mayhem, all you need is lots of money and lunatics who have no scruples about killing and those ones are readily available too. We can only pray as at now but honestly, I'm scared for this country. |

The European Union (EU) has rejected the death sentence handed to 12 Nigerian soldiers by the General Court Martial in Nigeria for alleged mutiny. The EU in a statement issued yesterday on the occasion of the World Day against Death Penalty condemned all death sentences especially after mass trials as was the case with the Nigerian soldiers. The union, headed by Secretary-General, Mr. Thorbjørn Jagland, argued that execution had stopped in that region of the world for close to two decades According to the statement: “On the European and World Day against the Death Penalty, the European Union and the Council of Europe reaffirm their strong and absolute opposition to capital punishment in all cases and under all circumstances, and their commitment to its worldwide abolition. “We are deeply concerned about setbacks in some countries, such as recent mass trials leading to a vast number of death sentences. No execution has taken place in our member states in the last 17 years. The European Union and the Council of Europe welcome the fact that all Member States of the European Union have now ratified both Protocols 6 and 13 to the European Convention on Human Rights, and urge all other European States that have not yet done so to sign and ratify these instruments which aim at the abolition of the death penalty.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/10/court-martial-eu-rejects-death-sentences/ |
Politics › Police Orderly, 4 Others Gang Ra.pe 17 Yr Old Girl In Kano by talktimi(op): 6:14am On Oct 10, 2014 |
By Abdulsalam Muhammad KANO—A police orderly attached to the Executive Chairman of Kabo Local Government Council of Kano State and four others have been arrested for allegedly gang-raping a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint. The Police Corporal, whose identity is being concealed by Kano State Police Command, was said to have conspired with four other persons to carry out the act by using his service pistol to subdue the lady at a location at Shanono, headquarters of Shanono Local Government Area. A security source confided in Vanguard that the chief suspect, a tall randy police officer, had been apprehended and kept behind bars, alongside his accomplices, pending the outcome of internal investigations. The source said: “A Police Corporal has been arrested and taken to state Criminal Investigation Department for investigation over the complaint that him and two others gang raped a lady. “It is suspected that the lady was threatened. You know orderlies that are attached to VIPs are normally armed. So as I speak with you, a police corporal and two other suspects have been detained for raping a lady in Shanono Local Government and the police officer is the orderly to Kabo Local Government chairman. “It was a gang rape; the case is with the police authorities and they are handling the matter. We know that the suspects have been detained; we are waiting to know what would come up next.” Police story When contacted, the acting Police Public Relations Office of Kano State Command, ASP Mustapha Abubakar, confirmed the incident in a phone chat. ASP Mustapha said: “Yes, it is true our officer was involved in a gang rape and the affected officer and his accomplices have been taken into custody. “We have in our custody the police orderly and four other suspects. The CID has commenced investigations to get to the root of the matter. “ The Kano Police spokesman disclosed that the suspects would be charged to court when investigations were completed. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/10/police-orderly-4-others-gang-rape-17-year-old-girl-kano/ |
