By land mass and population density, Lagos is bigger than Nigeria so you can't expect Fashola to complete all roads in the state in 8yrs. Gej is incompetent, he should have rehabilitated all federal roads in Nigeria under 2yrs then use another 2yrs for state and LG roads |

barcanista: I still don't understand how you tried to rope in APC to the mindset you see in Northerners. You may not be Igbo but the truth is that the Government of the day successfully divided Nigerians along religious line. When Obasanjo was in power(Kwankwaso was a Governor then under PDP), nobody saw PDP as Igbo Party or ANPP/APP as Northern Party(These were the two National Parties). Even Alliance for Democracy(AD) that was a pro-Yoruba party was not seen as tribalists(Just as APGA is pro_Igbo). During PDP's campaign in 2003, Nobody said vote AD because it is Yoruba Party in SW despite that AD was formed by Afenifere Group. The nonsense started first when GMB stepped into the Presidential race in 2003(with the vote only muslim propaganda) but it wasn't much. However, since Jonathan took over power, everything has become tribal and religious. His campaign was based on tribal/religious sentiment, his Aide labeled GMB and his party sectarian that is promoting sectarian interest. The President went ahead to say a particular tribe is is government pillar. I don't discuss tribal politics and I like discussing objectively which the writer of the article didn't. Sabon Gari is owned by Kano People and not Southerners. see as you used tarpaulin to cover the truth SHIOOR Ok, did Buhari ask Muslims to vote only Muslim presidential candidates during one of his numerous failed election adventures YES or NO ? http://allafrica.com/stories/200201210250.htmlIs sabon gari a part of Kano state YES or NO ? Is a governor expected to develop ALL parts of a state he governs irrespective of whether non indigenes reside there more YES or NO ? Stop standing logic on its head in your I'll advised quest to propagate nonsense. What is bad is bad PERIOD PS, point out where Gej's 2011 election campaigns was based on tribal/religious sentiments or forever shut your dung hole that you use in spewing lies. I didn't vote for Gej 2011 but I can't lie against him and I certainly won't condone bullying for any reason whatsoever |

EMANY01: Just so you know even though you are from the South South, having lived in Lagos all your life and make you living here as well as pay taxes to the Lagos state government, the government is just as responsible to you as it is to the so called "Lagos people " If you have seen my posts you would recall I said time and time again me saying that I was born in Kano and raised in Kano . I was raised in the Gaiydi-Gaiydi(pronounced Jedi) area until it became clear to my Family during and after the RINEHARD BONKE SECTARIAN VIOLENCE ,in October 1990 that we were living on borrowed time. We moved to No-mans land, close to Sabon-Gari an enclave of safety for non indigenes (mind you we are not igbos). In all the years I have spent in kano since that time and all the times I go back to Kano from time to time ,Sabon-Gari is the least if at all affected areas of government presence and development over the years.Every thing that happens there happens as a result of the work of the people who live there :sanitation, water every other thing and this is inspire of the tax revenues from the area and surroundings. You do not have to believe this but a drive through Sabon-Gari if your car can manage it will tell its own story. Barcanista,I know you first instinct nowadays is to adjudge every word that comes from anyone nor pro APC rubbish but I will tell you if you are willing to listen why any southerner that has spent time in the North sort of despises the APC. It is because we see in APC the mindset in Northern Politicians that they still own this country to do as they please I admit these are the same politicians in the PDP onetime or another bit the point is that the PDP has proven (for all it's flaws) a more inclusive party.A friend of mine who is an aspiring politician member of the APC was at an APC event in Abuja and he tells me he got bad vibes from the many Northerners there:the kind you can only get when you are in a lungwu(area) within the inner streets of Kano citi your instincts telling you you could be attacked at any moment because you are an arrne(outsider). that dude barcanista is too dense to listen to logical arguments that challenges his political leanings'. You have no right according to him to ask an APC governor questions lailai. Be wary of him |

The only reason you think Kwankwaso is the best thing after sliced bread is because he's an APC governor no more no less. Why don't you APCankerworms like it when your politicians are criticized ? barcanista: The Governor did not invite journalist from Yoruba, hausa or Igbo, the writer work with Vanguard, the Governor invited him because of where he works and obviously his rank, and not because he is Igbo or hausa. And I repeat, the Governor of Kano State is Primarily responsible to Kano indigens before any other. That is why there is STATE OF ORIGIN in our laws...(And yes it shall remain so forever). Non-Indegineous Residents and outsiders should know when to draw the line when talking of "Marginalisation" within a state that is not theirs. What is the business of YOU with that? Honestly, a Ijawman has no right to state who is marginalised and who is not in any Igbo State neither a Yorubaman such right. My friend, face front abeg. You have NO POINT walahi...
As for you and your likes, Yes you need to take a chill pill and be more objective, this "driven by bitterness" path won't help.
BTW... The words that are crossed are unnecessary and doesn't apply to me you keep spouting rubbish, I don't know how you go through a day being so deluded and living with so much bigotry and hate. You're disgusting honestly |

Politics › Re: Kwankwaso And The ‘Two Kano’s’ by talktimi(m): 10:41am On Oct 06, 2014 |
barcanista: Kwankwaso is the governor of Kano state, not Bayelsa, Rivers or any SE State. Why are you complaining when Kano people are not complaining? You and your likes are promoters of Kwankwaso marginalised Sabon Gari and funny enough you can't even back your claims... Sabon Gari belongs to Kano people, if he marginalises them it is Sabon Gari indigens that should complain and NOT non-Indigens from the SE complaining on their behalf. He is first and foremost loyal to KANO indigens before residents. I live in Lagos, was born and bred here but I always acknowledge that the Government of Lagos is first and foremost responsible to Lagos people before residents. Keep your hate to yourself bro and think of positives, if you must criticise, do it constructively not driven by hate and bigotry so it's now a "me and my likes" thing abi ? When govt officials invited the journalist on a tour of Kano state why didn't the govt select only journalists from Kano state since as you say Kano is for only people from Kano ? You honestly need to keep tour hate to yourself bro and criticize constructively not driven by hate and bigotry |
