PoliticsNigeria @ 60: Motion Without Movement! by Talktomaderich(op): 11:56am On Oct 01, 2020
I listened to the Independent Day National broadcast of President Muhammadu Buhari this morning, he talks about our past and the progress made so far in our 60 years of journey as a Nation. Our President spoke about the future and gave hope of a better tomorrow. In my opinion, at 60, there is nothing to write home about Nigeria. This is a 60 years motion without movement.
From what I read in History books, pre-independence and shortly after independence up till 1980 was a very good time in Nigeria. That was a period when Yakubu Gowon was said to have said "the problem of Nigeria is not money but that of how to spend it". That was the period that United Arab Emirate (Dubai) was still a desert and when the King of that Emirate sent emissary to Nigeria to borrow money from us to develop that desert to what it is today and Nigeria Leaders then was said to have turned down the request on the ground that Dubai project was not viable but what do we have today? The same Nigerian Leaders who turned down that request have now made Dubai their second home, what an irony!
In the said same speech, President Buhari did a comparative analysis of fuel price in the world and concluded that it makes no sense for fuel to be cheaper in Saudi Arabia than Nigeria, what a comparison.
The meaning of that statement is that it makes sense for Nigerians to continue their suffering and continue to buy fuel through their noses in the midst of other sufferings from insecurity, Boko Haram, hunger, unemployment, lack of power and energy to mention a few! Our President is comparing fuel price in Nigeria to Saudi Arabia without considering the other side of power and energy stability, abundant empowerment opportunities, flourishing Agriculture and Tourism that makes sense and abound in Saudi Arabia.
Let someone tell the President that the followings too do not make sense in Nigeria compare to Saudi Arabia!
1. It does not make sense for Saudi Arabia to be more secured than Nigeria.
2. It does not make sense for Nigeria to be bedevilled with insurgents like Boko Haram, Fulani Herdsmen, Kidnappers, Bandits and Cattle Rustlers while Saudi Arabia and its people have continued to live in peace.
3. It doesn't make sense for Nigerians to be in hunger and to become the poverty headquarters of the World at 60 and for the basic amenities to be out of reach of an ordinary Nigerian, for instance, what sense does it make for rice which is a common staple in Nigeria to be sold for 30k or thereabouts than in Saudi Arabia where same commodity is sold for less than 10k.
4. It doesn't make sense for Nepotism and one sided appointment and recruitment to favour one section of the country than another and for the security apparatus to be high jacked by a section of the country against the other in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia.
5. It doesn't make sense for unemployed youths to be roaming the streets in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia where they are fully engaged and where not immediately engaged after graduating are captured by social security services.
6. It doesn't make sense for corruption to take over in Nigeria to the extent that a whooping 30BN is said to have been spent on COVID 19 with a bogus and unreasonable claim of feeding School children who are at home with their parents during the lock down only for the billions involved to be traced to bank accounts of individuals in Nigeria than in Saudi Arabia where their resources are channelled towards their economy.
7. What sense does it make for minimum wage in Nigeria to be 30k while it is over 200k in Saudi Arabia.
8. It doesn't make any sense for Nigerians not to have alternative to fuel energy at the moment as there is no gas energy and electricity unlike in Saudi Arabia where the Citizens have many alternatives and can choose not to buy fuel for one year.
Before I end this post, I wish to ask this question "who wrote the Independent Day Speech of Mr. President"? That person did a great disservice with the sentence that "it does not make sense for fuel to be cheaper in Nigeria than Saudi Arabia". That clause is provocative, senseless and annoying and should not have been said to Nigerians on occasion of Independent day celebration as there is no basis for comparison between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia! The two countries are hundred of poles apart.
Happy Independence Nigeria, let's continue to have hope, It shall be well with us!

Christianity EtcWhat Religion Teaches On Polygamy by Talktomaderich(op): 11:10am On Oct 06, 2019
POLYGAMY! POLYGAMY!! POLYGAMY!!!
You will all agree with me that one of the most controversial word in Christiandom today is *POLYGAMY*
Are you a religious scholar? a Pastor? a Theologian? a born again Christian?..Please, feel free to constructively contribute, castigate, correct, admonished, advice, preach........in accordance with the provisions of the Holy Bible (the word of God)
Before I go further, I will like you to have the following questions at the back of your minds.
1). Who was the first person to engage in the act of POLYGAMY?
2). Is POLYGAMY a sin?
3). Did God condemn POLYGAMY?
4). Those that engaged in POLYGAMY, are they in Hell?
5). What is the fate of the polygamous Children?
6). Is marriage a traditional act or religious act?
7). Why do Christians condemn POLYGAMY?
. What are the effects of POLYGAMY in Christiandom?
9). Has God changed?

*GEAR 1*
Lamech was the first man to marry more than one wife, Gen 4:19

*GEAR 2*
Godly/Holy persons that engaged in POLYGAMY according to the Bible included
*Abdon*, Judges 12:13-14;
*Abijah*, 2 Chronicles 13-21;
*Abraham*, Gen 16-1-3, Gen 25:1;
*Ahab*, 1 kings 20:1-3;
*Ahaseurus*, Esther 1:9,
*Ashur*, 1 Chronicles 4:5,
*Belshazzar,* Daniel 5:2,
*Ben-Hadad* (who married Ahab's wives), *Caleb,* 1 Chronicles 2:18-19,
*David* (had 8wives), 1 Samuel 18:27, 25:39, 25:42, 2 Samuel 3:5, 5:13, 12:7-8,
12:24. *Eliphaz*, Gen 36:11-12.
*Elkanah*, 1 Samuel 1:1-2
*Esau*, Gen 26:34
Ezra, 4:17-18;
*Gideon*, Judges 8:30....and many more.
We had not fewer than 40 Godly and ungodly men that engaged in POLYGAMY from the Bible. Also, we had not less than 43 POLYGAMY cases from the Bible.

*GEAR 3*
Had God condemned POLYGAMY?
*No! God NEVER did* In all the POLYGAMY cases mentioned in the Bible, God did not condemn any except David who snatched Uriah's wife. God said to David ' in 2 Samuel 12:8; *I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your
arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more."*
Why did God himself say so to David?

*GEAR 4*
Is POLYGAMY a sin?
Those that engage in POLYGAMY are they in hell?
is Abraham in hell? (Luke 16:19-31) Is Jacob in hell? is David, Solomon, Elkanah, Ezra.....@all, in hell?

*GEAR 5*
Does God permit POLYGAMY? *The answer of course is Yes!* In Genesis 21:10, God said *If he (man) marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights*. In 2 Samuel 12:8. God Himself said to David ,"...I gave your master Wives,........if you need more, I would have given you"

*GEAR 6*
What is the fate of the polygamous children? Condemned or Favoured?
Why was Joseph, Samuel, Solomon.... Highly favoured?

*GEAR 7*.
Before religion there was marriage.
Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:18-25
The issue of Monogamy was purely *the tradition of the western world whom were our religious colonial masters. In the land of the White, traditionally, rivalry is a taboo*. But the Jews (Israelites) and the Edomites (the blacks) shares the same tradition. A widow is not allowed to be seen in the Street, but be remarried to their
husbands relatives or friends, Gen 38.

*GEAR 8*
Why do Christians condemned POLYGAMY?
The new testament completely responded seamlessly on POLYGAMY matters. The new testament talks about every aspect of Christian living except POLYGAMY.
Mathew 19:3-9, Jesus spoke about God initial plan for man. He condemned divorce but did not condemned POLYGAMY. Paul admonishment to Timothy on how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of Levite's of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, If there were no men with more than a wife in the Church,
Paul Won't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39.

*GEAR 9*
Effects of POLYGAMY:
POLYGAMY has it merits and demerits in the society and Christiandom at large.
1). In the Society, the Maternal Mortality rate is high in the female folks compared to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men dead rate i s higher than that of women. The number of widows keeps increasing geometry adding up to the number of single women in the society.
This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, fornication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic nowadays to see our single girls fighting with widows for the ownerships of a guy.
2). Religiously, the so-called MONOGAMY has cause more harm than good in Christiandom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imaging if they were practicing Family planning and Monogamy.
IBB introduced family planning to Nigeria with a maximum of 3 children to a couple and, was widely embraced mostly by Christians, that is 3 children to a couple but, Muslim being naturally a polygamy has an average 2 to 5 wives to a man, meaning 20 children to a family. This have invariably led to increase in population of Muslim
far above their Christian counterpart in Nigeria (60% / 40%).
Looking critically, Nigeria is trailing the path of Turkey and North Sudan.....
Turkey(the biblical Antioch) was a Christian nation overtaken by Muslim because of falsehood of Christian priest.
b.) Very soon Our children, particularly daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves because monogamy denied them an opportunity to marry.
C.) There are millions of stranded women in the South and, may not likely get a husband forever because of argument against polygamy; whereas hardly can a woman be stranded in the North; thanks to polygamy..

GEAR 10
Has God Change?
God of Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, .....the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the beginning and the end, the Alfa and Omega, He is the same yesterday, today and forever; has not change.

CONCLUSION
What is the way out?
Christians don't be "Paul when he was Saul' Pastors, be careful what you preach on the pulpit about POLYGAMY as what you preach, instead of becoming light, rather, it is destroying Christianity Hosea 4:6, 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.

PoliticsFemi Afolabi: Response To Obj Letter by Talktomaderich(op): 7:47am On Jan 24, 2019
IN RESPONE TO OBJ (Season 2)
About this time last year, I wrote an article with this same title. In it, I went down the memory lane to prove to my readers that OBJ was in no position to condemn Buhari the way he did. I also exposed the hypocrisy of the man Aremu based on the information available to me then. Now that Pa Matthew has done exactly what he did last year, I will also proceed exactly as I did last year to lay bare the facts and figures against the fiction of Elder okikiola in his new letter.
In his new letter, OBJ tried to fraudulently curry and attract the sympathy of Nigerians by claiming he has received death threats as a result of his criticisms against Buhari’s government. To me, Baba believes Nigerians have short memories and therefore can be fooled at will. He thought we have forgotten in a jiffy how he made similar allegation against the government of President Jonathan. Then, he claimed the president was training One thousand Snipers in Pakistan with the sole aim of using them against the opposition in 2015. It baffles me how an old man like Obasanjo with a PhD in theology can find it so convenient to lie without hassles. I think Baba should be grateful to God for such threats because the likes of Bola Ige, Harry Marshal, Abubakar Rimi, Funso Williams and Dikibo never had that luxury. They were suddenly mowed down by their assailants in the cruel manner. All these happened under the presidency of Ebora Owu. I am still trying to understand why anybody will even kill Obasanjo especially for political reasons. This is a man who has consistently lost his unit, ward and local govt since 2007. So what exactly is his electoral value that will make anyone want to eliminate him?
I almost took a decision against writing this piece but had to change my mind when I saw the unsavoury, acerbic, corrosive and disrespectful language used by OBJ to discuss the person of the Vice president. Pa, what is your problem gan-an? Why have you chosen yourself as the obstacle on the way of every Yoruba man that is gaining or aspiring for national office? It is just shameful to see your puerile attempt to denigrate and trample on the shining-white reputation of Pastor Yemi. Sir, Yemi Osinbajo is better than you will ever be. Is it not inglorious to remember that you had a hand in how Awolowo was denied the opportunity to govern this nation? You were also one of those who backed the Association for Better Nigeria to secure the injunction upon which the cancellation of 1993 elections was based by Babangida. Your hand was also visible in thwarting all the moves that was made in the international community to force the govt to recognize that election. By your actions, MKO was denied his right to the presidency having won the election convincingly. Later, you shut down all entreaties to make you recognize June 12 and the supreme price paid by a lot of Nigerians for that election. Thank God for Buhari for listening to us. Now you have started with Osinbajo. What exactly is wrong with you sir? Why does the progress of Yoruba sons and daughters annoy you so much? Why don’t you want any Yoruba man to be president after you? Well, God will keep you alive to witness it even if for a minute.
Doctor, you also took the president to the cleaners on the war against insurgency and I still can’t believe that ever canme from you sir. Your poor and uninspiring performance exposed by Brig Gen Godwin Alabi-isama in the third Marine Commando during the civil war is still very fresh in our memories sir. He told us about your preposterous line-straightening strategy on the war front instead of military tactics. You brought Civil Engineering to the war front and you expect us to thrust your judgment on the difficult asymmetrical war against insurgency? We are smarter than that sir. You were the president of this nation for eight years but failed to win the war against militancy in the Nigerdelta, the same area you claimed to have lead the 3MCDO. Now we know the real war was led by Benjamin Adekulne ably supported by the likes of Alabi-isama and Alani Akinrinade and others and you want us to listen to your analysis on BH? No way sir. It took the coolheadedness of an Analytical Chemist in President Yaradua to end that war even without firing a shot. That is leadership Baba Iyabo.
Ebora Owu, you complained of the use of security agencies against perceived enemies of this government and I can’t just believe you actually did. Have you forgotten the issue of Lagos State allocation? Or the gestapo removal of Audu Ogbeh, your party chairman for complaining of the harsh economic situation in the country? Or how Atiku was denied access to his office as a sitting VP? We still remember sir how you threatened Mimiko with EFCC for daring to defect from the PDP, you popularly declared in a rally in Akure that he Mimiko, SUAGA (messed up the throne). This list is endless Baba.
Pa Aremu, sometimes I ask myself what propelled you to go into theology knowing your propensity for lies and mischief. As a former president who is supposed to be an Elder statesman, I expected you to know the dangers of the wild and unsubstantiated allegations of plans to rig against INEC. Every General that is what his salt will understand the security implications of such senseless allegations but unfortunately you are more concerned with having a place in press than the peace in the nation. Shame. This your allegation becomes more annoying when one remembers how you almost legalized rigging during your jackboot civil rule in this nation. Even president Yaradua couldn’t keep a lid on the mindboggling rigging that brought him to power that he openly confessed. Under you sir, your party was scoring votes that was more than total registered voters. You are the least qualified person to complain of rigging Evangelist Obasanjo. How can anyone forget the manner Mrs Ayoka Adebayo, a woman rumoured to be your woman friend disappeared with Ekiti State gubernatorial election result in 2007 after saying her conscience wouldn’t allow her to announce such a result? She later resurfaced in Abuja three days later and announced the same result. And you are here insulting our sensibilities with your childish allegations. Nonsense! For your information sir, more than ninety (90) elections have been conducted under this administration and less than twenty (20) of them are in court. This is a record you and Prof Iwu cannot beat even in your next lives.
Ba-aa Gbenga, na only you be former president self for this country? Gowon, Babangida, Shonekan, Abdulsalami, Jonathan are all former presidents and are quietly living their lives as true elder statesmen. Why are you the only one writing letters? Every one of them got letters from you but surprisingly none ever wrote you despite the myriad of reasons to do so. You no dey tire? Well, it seems you continue to write because the previous ones always produce desired results. But for the first time, you are having to write a president twice. Don’t you think there is a strong message for you there? And it is simple, Your Time is Up Bro. The people now know you and they don’t take you seriously anymore.
One of the things that annoyed me most in your letter was to equate the prosecution of the CJN to an attack on the judiciary. In case you have forgotten sir, you withheld the allocation of Lagos State till you left office despite a Supreme Court judgment against your action. Perhaps you don’t know, the Supreme Court is the person of the constitution of the nation. You swore to protect the constitution but you spat on it by disobeying the decision of the apex court. So it is an insult of the highest order when you talk of the attack on the judiciary despite what you did back then. There is and there can never be any worst attack on the judiciary than disobeying the judgment of the Supreme Court. Once again, president Yaradua saved the nation and the lives of the workers in Lagos who had agonized for three years. God will let you live long enough to suffer for all these grievous sins. When I saw the long list of lawyers who appeared for the CJN probono and their noise about the judiciary being attacked, I laughed. All these guys were alive when you disobeyed the Supreme Court but were deaf and dumb to your impeachable conduct. Bunch of jesters!
Chief, what gave your letter up as a product of frustration is your scathing attack on the VP as touching the Tradermoni program. In fact, you even ignorantly went as far as claiming that it was not budgeted for. What a frustration! Even the deaf heard how well Kemi Adeosun defended the policy and budget before the National Assembly and the blind have seen how this money has improved the business of most petty traders. Sir, how many vegetable sellers come to market with Ten thousand naira worth of vegetable? How many pure water hawkers have ten thousand naira? The money may not mean much to you because you live in a mansion built with our money and the library you claim is yours today was built by the Ten million naira you collected from each state government when you were in power. I suggest you come down from that hilltop Mansion once in a while and visit markets in places like Itoku, Adatan, Car wash to value what some petty traders sell. It won’t kill you sir.
Alagba Olusegun, in your January last year letter, you called for the formation of a movement that will end the dominance of the old in our politics. Your boy, Olagunsoye Oyinlola swung into action and was only able to hold two press conferences and that was it. It was a still birth of a movement. But I am curious sir, what went wrong? Even if it failed, why are you not supporting young guys like Moghalu, Durotoye and Sowore? Why did you choose a 73 year old youth ahead of these vibrant guys? Baba Obasanjo, you can only impress those without grey matter in their skulls or those who have but with too many gray areas in theirs. I was irked to my marrows some weeks ago when you reportedly told newsmen who asked you why you are working for Atiku and you replied he has apologized. Did the money you accused Atiku of embezzling for twelve years, yours? Why did you think you have the right to forgive him? Who gave you the power to forgive those who committed criminal acts against Nigerians while sitting in your farm in Otta? chai! we don suffer sha.
Chief Olusegun Okikiola Matthew Aremu Obasanjo, you lack the moral, spiritual and leadership ground to complain or correct any error in this country; especially in the government of President Buhari. We have moved on from your kind of politics, leadership, and ideas about governance. Your letter is the last kick of a dying horse and a desperate attempt by a drowning man to hold on to flotsam and jetsam on the surface of a political water made turbulent by the integrity of president Buhari.
Finally, this your 16-page letter which failed to address the issue of the $16billion dollar you spent on power and also failed to convince Nigerians to love a party that failed them for 16 years will, along with you be confined to the dustbin of political history come 16th of Febuhari this year.
. Bye Baba.

Christianity EtcFeminism And Christianity by Talktomaderich(op): 6:15pm On Mar 20, 2018
There are so many things going on in Churches today which are not scriptural. These satanic concepts are from the pit of hell. They are inverted by contemporary pastors who don't really care about the word of God but about themselves and their selfish desire. It is always a pain in my heart anytime you talk of equality of sex or gender equality. It has gotten to the church where you see some Jezebelic ladies parading themselves as pastors wives mounting the pulpit just because they can speak English fluently. These are the set of people without any godly moral I have never read any place in the Bible that talks about the equality of gender. Women should be treated with respect and dignity. They are our mother and wife the Bible talks about the silence of the women in the church, that doesn't mean God hate them. No, imaging our lord Jesus Christ selecting disciples without including any woman, not even his biological mother. He (Jesus) provided for women in his earthly ministry but he never put them in the same position with men. It is an heresis when I see some pastors wives teaching the men. It is not that women are not useful in the works of the ministry, but their voice should be low. The belief widely accepted today that women are in the same level with men is not biblical though maybe taken and subjected to by many international bodies. I want all men to respect their wife, treat them with dignity. It is sinful when you fail to provide for your home. I want all women to see their husband as their lord. The next person to your maker is your husband. All the women in the course of ministerial assignment should know this. Don't ever say because you are a lady evangelist, Pst Mrs, deaconess or whatever you may in the church of God see yourself as equal as a man.
The head of every church is Jesus.
The head of every man is Jesus.
The head of every woman is a man.
Any church where they teach anything aside this is satanic and unscriptural. Thanks.
