American man says fortune teller scammed him $700,000 (N140 million) to fix romantic relationship

A New York man who sought help from a fortune teller to fix a romantic relationship says she scammed him out of more than $700,000.
The 32-year-old Brooklyn man told police he consulted Priscilla Delmaro, and she told him evil spirits were keeping him from a woman he loved.

He made several payments to Delmaro that included $80,000 for an 80-mile bridge she said would trap evil spirits into another realm, a $30,000 Rolex she claimed would cleanse the sins of his past and $40,064 for a Tiffany diamond ring to "protect his energy," along with other payments totaling as much as $40,000. He kept making other payments altogether $713,975.

What happened thereafter? You can't believe this...

How can you give someone N140 million to fix issues you have with your sweetheart Mtcheew...

An Algerian man has sued his new wife for $20,000 because of fraud and the alleged psychological distress she caused him when he first saw her without makeup.

The man took his wife to court just a day after their marriage, accusing her of not looking as pretty as before the wedding and of cheating him with much make-up.

He told court in the capital Algiers that he was shocked when he got up in the next morning and found that his wife looked so different, that he could not recognize her.

He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.

The photo you displayed is the major cities, now compare it with the major cities in China or the other nations we should be competing with. We should be able to snap a photo of a road in a poor neighborhood and see that everywhere is neat and tarred, not just in the major cities

Do you notice the streets? From the road to the sidewalk? It's all tarred and neat. That's how everywhere should be like in Nigeria. After road construction, you also interlock the sidewalk and keep dust away, it keeps your streets neat and your roads last longer too.

But when you have so little for the job after so much has been budgeted, you can't get a good job done. Kill corruption before it kills Nigeria!

For a long time, Bill and his son Norman have been desperate to be legally married as gay couple. In their desperation, they started moving to different states asking for help and permission to get married to themselves. They moved to Pennsylvania, but were told by a lawyer that the state was never going to allow same-sex marriage.

Bill and Norman were so overjoyed after Supreme Court ban on gay marriage was lifted in the US. So they finally married at a ceremony conducted by an old friend of the couple who is an Episcopalian priest.

“I feel incredibly happy. It’s the only way I can describe it – just enormously happy,” Norman said. “It was very much worth the wait."

A Chinese couple was spotted squeezing and selling milk from four goats on a busy street in China. They were apparently selling the bottles for almost two dollars each. Many people gathered and waited in line to get a taste of fresh-squeezed goat milk. The couple told reporters that the goat milk was quite a hit, and lots of customers were returning for more.

There you have it. If you're going to invest in anything right now in China, it should probably be a goat, and be ready to squeeze it raw!

Last month we shared update about a Kenyan witch doctor who said Obama will visit village when he went to Kenya.
President Barack Obama wasn't expected to visit the tiny village of Kogelo during his tour of Kenya, but witch doctor John Dimo said he tossed shells and animal bones on the ground and says Obama must visit his family village.

Kogelo is the home of Mama Sarah Obama, 95, Obama's step-grandmother, and the burial place of Barack Obama Sr., his father. "The results indicate that Obama will come to Kogelo," Dimo told a circle of residents as they observed his fortune telling ritual.
