I'm yet to receive my admission letter having been approved by the pg board since 18th of April. I went to the netque office last week to complain and after checking their system I was told its rejected by pg board. I was so confused and I had to check my phone again and I saw approved by pg board on my tracking page then I showed it to the man. I later went to the department to find out what the problem was and the hod told me that I have already been admitted by the department and in fact I have been given a supervisor. So she said I should go back to the netque office to complain that the problem is with them. However, I went back to the netque office and I was asked to check one register to confirm if they've received my transcript. So I saw my name on the register indicating that they've received it since 11th of march. The man later told me there was no problem that I should expect my admission letter this week but up till this moment I haven't received it. I don't know if something is wrong.

Get in touch with that same man that told you to expect your admission letter, you can possibly go back to him sef, keep disturbing netque people. Good luck!

No deadline jare, but make sure you pay it and other fees in time before they start giving accommodation so that you can get one, if interested anyway.

That is not true sir. YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY SCRATCH CARD TO PAY ALL THE FEES (accommodation, tuition and acceptance).

Baba nla iro! Big lie! I go to eportal everyday and night, it wouldn't open, and I contacted someone in school, Msc std, he said he tried it too but didn't open.

Am confused o, since people's suggestion is dat we relax till we resume b4 we pay acceptance fee,am confused bc on my admission letter dated 7thApril, its stated that l must pay acceptance fee b4 one month dt shld be 7th May.

It is truly confusing but don't let it confuse u. Disregard that deadline on you A.L, just make sure you pay your acceptance and tuition fees immediately the school resumes. So relax!

That means the admission letter is ready to be sent, but I don't know why they delay it. For instance, my admission letter is dated 24th Feb. but I received it 2nd week of March. I will advice you buy more time, say a week or 2, thereafter you can proceed to the netque office.

I called someone in the Netque office to ask why the netque account information is not opening, he said it can't open now for the newly admitted students, until school resumes for 15/16 session hence I can't pay for acceptance fee and the date on my letter has lapsed. So I don't think you are right.

In reference to my quote above, pls how else can I present it to avicky? No inflammatory words, no offensive quote. In fact my last statement "So I don't think you are right" was indirect.

I don't know why we shy away from the facts, if she has been helpful that doesn't mean I shouldn't register my feelings after confusing me, she said and quote "There's no deadline. But if one wants the pg accommodation, then you need to pay within the deadline" isn't this confusing?! The portal to pay through is not activated and the date on my letter has lapsed. And I called netque to confirm what she said, they said I can't pay acceptance and school fees now until school resumes. Isn't it confusing?

Pls I want to appeal to everyone of us in this house that we should be mindful of the info we post, quote and reply, let our post be coherent and incisive. Some info can mislead people and it can as well jettison their plans and movements. God bless you

Hi avicky, think you've gotten these guys a bit confused about dealine for payment. The admission letter usually comes with a one month window for payment of acceptance fee which of course is almost impossible considering the fact that portal for registration is not always opened at the time the admission letters are sent. For example I got my admission letter in April and the one month acceptance fee deadline was stated there. However Netque did not open for registration till August so the one month deadline was not effective. The deal about getting accommodation at PG hall really is that you have to know when Netque opens for semester registration and to pay both acceptance and school fees early enough before application for accommodation begins. This is usually between 3 weeks to a month after Netque portal opens for registration.

Thank you jare, she can't confuse me o, that was why I called netque myself and I was told that portal won't open for the new students until when new session opens and consequently I can't pay the acceptance fee now.

#Gbam! God bless you. You just showed me that you are not only reading here but linking all the relevant information concerning this issue and that is how to know the brilliant ones. It is clearly stated in the letter that you should pay the acceptance fee within a month you are offered admission, the question I then asked that guy was if I don't pay within that time frame what happens? And he said there is no penalty or consequences but I should pay it as soon as school opens for a new session.

Oh really? I guess you don't want to stay in the pg hall. If you want hostel accommodation and you have the money you had better pay your acceptance fee and first semester fee but if you don't, you may not pay.

Avicky don't let us get it twisted, the Genesis of my write up was when someone asked if the time frame to pay up the acceptance fee is not accorded with, what could be the consequences? And I replied "I wanted to pay it but someone in my department that just concluded his course work said I can pay it together with the tuition, adding that I should disregard the time frame stated on the admission letter" or do you mean if the acceptance fee is not paid within the time frame stated on the admission letter but paid along with the tuition fee as soon as the school resumes one would not be allotted accommodation?

Just be optimistic, your faculty will recommend you, just ensure that your transcript is available at the Admission Office.

Hello! Do you know that your presence alone at the PGC can solve the admission letter problem? Try it first. However, you will also ascertain the whereabouts of your transcript because that is the only stumbling block.

I think OAU is very considerate when it comes to tuition fee payment, because they understand the economy. I remember this same guy telling me he hasn't even paid for the 2nd semester tuition fee (and he has finished his exams) because OAU allows semester-by-semester tuition fee.
