I wanted to pay it but someone in my department that just concluded his course work said I can pay it together with the tuition, adding that I should disregard the time frame stated on the admission letter.

Your faculty doesn't need any document other than the ones your dept presents for further recommendation, and since you have been recommended by your dept, your faculty will surely toe the same path. However, the only possible stumbling block is your Transcript, make sure it gets to the PGC ASAP. So just keep checking your account and also track your transcript because after your faculty recommendation, PG will not even look at your page if they don't have your transcript. Then take note that some depts just concluded their tests, they have not started recommendation at all, so don't panic.

Please I'd like you to tell me what I have missed. I have dropped my supporting documents in the pg school and my faculty. Although my official transcripts are yet to get to OAU I droped a copy of my student certified transcript in my department. Because FUTA just started this online stuff that's taking ages to send the transcripts so this week it should be dispatched. But my department Agricultural Engineering do not conduct entrance/screening exams. I can see recommendations and all like you are saying here and I don't know if I have missed a step.

If your 3 referees have all responded, you submitted all necessary documents to your department, and your department doesn't conduct test, i will advise you should exercise patience and try to get in touch with your department if they have started recommending.

Calm down, your faculty will recommend you soon, remember that some depts have not even conducted entrance exams talk much recommendation.

victims of the ongoing strike by SSANU and NASU. I
have applied for my transcript for over two weeks
( before the strike- 24th Dec) and the processing has
not even begun because the strike has paralysed
activities in the University. Some friends were there

and also become certified graduates but the strike
has put them on hold. I just keep wondering why
our educational system is plagued with incessant

recess. As if the yuletide season is not over ! It's our
plea that the government should wave in and
SSANU/ NASU should reach a comprise with them. It

off the strike plsssss and let us move forward in this
new year..

Hello, I was given a copy of my transcript and it is sealed.
They (OAU) require two copies of it with the supporting docs+transcript label for pg skul and department.
What do I do now?, can I open and and make another copy of the transcript?

if i were you i will try if i can open it without causing damage to the envelop, otherwise, i will go to the admission office (next room to netque office) i will explain and plead with them if they can help open and make photocopy so as to submit to my department. i will cook up cogent reasons why it would be extremely difficult to get another transcript (time, work, your school procedure.....) and if i exhaust these two options and no way out i will then proceed to my school as the last option.

Why didn't inform your school that you need two copies? You would have told them to photocopy the original before sealing so you can submit that to the department.

Btw, you are meant to have a student's copy.

Please, don't open the sealed document. Just go back to your school and explain things.

I don't know d consequences ooo but i think you should be able to get it if you go to your dept, let me tell you why i think so. After i forwarded the soft copies of all my docs, transcript label inclusive, to my departmental representative, the person sent a mail back saying he couldn't see my online application in the portal, telling me to close and submit the application online, meaning he has access to my portal. so may be you can approach your dept and ask the representative to help print it out. This is all i know ooo.

1. why not, go ahead and buy d scratch card, the closing date is 18th Dec and there would an extension, so the sales will surely enter January, so your transcript wont be later by then.

2. I don't know anything about this course ooo but the general requirement is 2.2

I own an IT outlet and I am aware of the technicalities. How long can you wait to get the pix on label. The school requires you to submit 2 passport each with the documents. I attached it to the label since its been uploaded. I av to move to another stage in processing my transcripts and forwarding my documents. I am sending a copy each of the label with the documents with passport attached.

Nooo! You have made a good point, sometimes you just need to go extra mile to make findings. Someone in charge of supporting docs collection in the dept i applied to has also advised to print out the TL like that or forward the soft copies of my docs with the TL. I was just buying more time may be it can come up, but e be like say i don buy enough time ooo. Thanks and God bless you.

Meanwhile, I av submitted my application online. Anyone from Technology Management. Could you believe I had admission for msc in 2008 same course. I feel like I'm going for adult education.

Pls when did u submit online and did your passport come up on the transcript label? because mine didnt come up on the TL after the site replied that my passport has been successfully uploaded and it appeared. or could it be the size of the passport? i actually uploaded 200 x 200 pixel (33.7 kb). However, i was at netque office and i was told they are aware and it's a general problem, saying they will work on it within a week and it's 2 weeks now no changes. pls kindly reply and advise.

I thought i cleared the air on this issue of Transcript label last week. I personally went to netque office and i was told they are aware of the fundamental problem and they are working on it.

same experience here, I was @ netque office yesterday, i was told it's a general problem and it will be solved soon, just keep checking your transcript label periodically.

, as a mata of fact i finished frm beta by far, dis skool remains the fastest so far, imagine i spent 3 n half yrs for my program, GEOLOGY, n i was given ALL i needed in the market within dis class (B. Sc.).
