I don't think you can apply for EOR without TRF. You need both the TRF & EOR filled form olaolu39: Please can i apply for EOR (IELTS remark) when i have not been given hard copy results. |

Congratulations @NaijaGoingMaple NaijaGoingMaple: The golden email visited us yesterday. It's PPR and we're grateful for the faithfulness of our God who's made this possible.
The Journey It was in March 2018 that we were having frank discussion among friends about governance, business environment, career, family, security and what’s not about our dear nation Nigeria. It was crystal clear to us right there and then that we had to fold up our sleeves and brace up for the change “jappa.”
Apparently, we started off with me being the PA; a Masters degree and required years of experience while spouse has Bachelors and extensive work experience too (self-employed as “obioma” or the more formal fashion designer). The race began in March 2018 with renewal of our international passports. The “No Booklet” days was herculean. My ECA processing was seamless (UK Masters). However, with IELTS, the dancing steps changed to “surugede” at the first attempt as I missed my speaking test (no thanks to unpredictable Lagos traffic). I overcame the hurdle by the 3rd attempt. By the 3rd quarter of 2018; ECA and IELTS were ready for spouse as well and we were both in the pool but below trending ITA threshold then.
On this journey, every opportunity is golden, don’t procrastinate. For instance, if we had taken another IELTS to improve our scores and possibly max out on all; we’d have gotten the surprise ITA of 437 in January 2019. Since getting an ITA directly under the Federal Skill Workers stream was out of our reach given our ages, we started learning French by 3rd quarter of 2018 as that was the only option aside provincial nomination. The latter got us the ITA, and the rest they say is history.
Below, is our timeline:
Oct, 2019: ITA & AOR
Nov 2019: Meds passed & Biometric submitted. File transferred to AVO.
..... Long Silence....
May 2020: Eligibility passed (GCMS notes)
.... Long Silence....
Oct 20, 2020: Meds expired (GU, and meds status changed to, "You don't need medical...."
Oct 29, 2020: ADR Schedule 4 (submitted the same day, with Additional Document status changing to, "Not Applicable."
Nov 23, 2020: Meds extended (GU, & meds status changed to, "You passed the medical exam"
Nov 24, 2020: ADR Acknowledged (email) - Additional Document status changed to, "We are reviewing the additional documents provided."
Nov 25, 2020: Approved - RFV (CSE Response)
Dec 3, 2020: PPR
VO: AVO voice but with Hong Kong feelings
Why The Abroad? My first thought of travelling abroad was when I graduated from the university. I’d read about tuition-free postgrad programs in the Scandinavians, and applied to few schools but somehow failed to follow up with documentation requirements and the funding wahala - where “village boy” go get money?
Upon completing my 1-year mandatory national youth service; I got an entry level job in a bank, and the thought of travelling out of the country vanished with the winds. 7 years after, colleagues had started discussing about Canadian Express Entry and few relocated to Canada. But because of the stringent requirements I’d assumed; I didn’t bother to give it a trial. Additional 3 years had passed, and the wind was unrelentingly roosting in my home, and I couldn’t but be ensnared by this bandwagon effect. With total commitment to the cause, there was no going back. In my local parlance, we’d say “we all die here today,” meaning, once you have your hands on the plough, it’s unfitting to falter.
We may be starting over again in a new country, but with a renewed hope for an all-inclusive success. Whilst there may be many unknown unknowns as plans are as good as guess work, we’re fully persuaded that our decision to relocate to Canada is a good one. Where you have a planning and progressive government; it’s likely that individual plans are better guesses, and closer to reality, and for this, we will succeed.
The journey may be long and tiring for some, but the destination is within reach.
>>> Keep the fire burning, and faith unfaltering! |

Hello mamas, am new here. I am a second time mum, had my baby a month ago. Please what brand of diaper is good. Background story - I used US little snugglers for my first son when I had him stocked up a lot that lasted 12months before I tried molfix, Pampers baby dry, but didn't like any of them. I eventually settled for Pampers premium care, which seemed ok. Now on to the second baby, the baby sizes of the US diapers I had left from 3 years ago can't be used, because I still had them in their boxes, even the yellow indicator has changed colour i guess cos of the heat. So am out looking for options, I want something similar to the US huggies brand that absorbs well, any recommendations please. 1 Like |

In my opinion, I don't think it's the discount because you already renewed even people could not. I feel it's your hubby's new (change of) destination. I think the VO either thinks you will have medical intent again bearing in mind you used Houston the previous time. I think it's best you all apply to UK (or another) first to have the Christmas vacation and he tries again later. lollyberry: Hello house, am so sad right now, my husband just got refused
I gave birth on 2015 using oakbend medical centre and Dr f was my doctor, fast forward to 2018 I renewed my visa and I was not called for 221g interview, and I also applied for my 2 other kids and they got the visa, we're planning to go for this Xmas vacation as a family and my husband decided to try again after the last year refusal (he actually wanted to visit network alone then>
To cut the story short,
Vo. Ur passport Hubby. Gave him Vo. Why u traveling Hubby. To take my family on this coming xmas vacation Vo. Do they have passport Hubby. Hand it over to vo Vo.ur wife used a medical visa Hubby. Yes Vo.Did she tell you she got 11000 discount and the hospital is not known for a good reason Hubby. Wow.but we did not ask for discount that is the bill they gave her I made sure she paid, if the had given me the exact amount without discount I wish have paid it. Vo. OK type type and type. Vo. The last time u applied u wanted to visit newyork Hubby. Yes. Wanted to spend 10 days of my leave so I pick New York . Vo..habe u travel out for pleasure before Hubby. No Vo.so this time you want to visit Houston Hubby. Yes. Vo.type forever and next thing is denial
Am so confused now because I don't know if it was the discount that brought about thee rejection. Or no travel history.
If it's the discount, then why did they issued a visa in the first place. So angry
Will be taking the kids for Xmas vacation alone 3 Likes |

@yettyolaseni, in my opinion, I think the Houston Methodist locations have different prices. The one from @greatg0809 is a different location (the medical centre location which is even different to the sugarland's) to yours at Katy. Also Dr F gives a different one for Sugarland location. |

Just to add, you are supposed to evaluate your highest qualification; in this case your masters. I hope this helps bolubej: Good morning house, I noticed that my Bsc result carries a different date of birth from my masters and ssce. I am equally married and have changed name to my husband's. My question now is which one do I quote for Wes evaluation. 1 Like |

Please i need help especially from those who used their NYSC experience as their only work experience. I served with a paramilitary agency 7/8years ago and we were paid 7k monthly and the usual nysc alawee, is it advisable to state only the 7k as salary or the 19k+ or both allowances added together. Thanks all cc: @glitteringstar @balogunsam |
