Harbosede02:She lacks the courage and ability. She sounds more of a learner. "Emotional amateur" or maybe she is dying for the guy silently and gets pissed off as it seems he doesn't give a damn about her. Sorry, just thinking aloud. |
The dude doesn't hate u. He is certainly just playing around to get u. We have had such tutorials here on nairaland. He will just make u feel empty, then come 4 u for after all. The Nigerian Army yesterday alerted the nation that some elders and leaders of Borno state and other States of the North East are working against the resolve by the military and other security agencies to ensure they bring the terrorists activities of Boko Haram group to an end by December this year in accordance with President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive. These persons including top politicians are said to have gone to the extent of employing the services of Marabouts and other unethical means to reverse the gains made so far in the war against insurgency. Consequently, the Army warned that such elders, whose sinister machinations security agencies were aware of, risk arrest and will be dealt with in accordance with the law if caught. A statement by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman said, “the Nigerian Army wishes to inform the public and send a very strong and serious final warning to some prominent individuals and political groups who hail from Borno State in particular and North East generally, that there is information of plans by some highly placed individuals and political groups to undermine and scuttle the fight against terrorism and insurgency in this country. “The unscrupulous individuals and their cohorts are determined to reverse the gains made and scuttle our efforts of achieving the Presidential directive to defeat Boko Haram terrorists within 3 months. “They are enlisting the services of some Non- Governmental Organizations in this grand design. “It has come to our knowledge that they are employing all means to see that our operation does not succeed in order for them to continue to enjoy certain benefits. “It has been revealed that they are employing the services of marabouts and other unethical means in order to frustrate our efforts and the operations in addition to campaigns of calumny. “We are aware of their clandestine meetings and other diabolical efforts to achieve their nefarious aims and this will not be tolerated. “Therefore, such individuals and groups should be warned in unmistakable terms that anyone found will be dealt with accordingly. “People should place the interest of the nation above any personal gain or ambition.” Source : http://www.vanguardngr.com/?p=564655 |

Anayo Nwonu represents Ezza North/Ishielu
Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State in the
House of Representatives. In this interview, he
calls on President Muhammadu Buhari to
extend his probe to previous administrations.
He also tells the South East people not to
expect much from Buhari’s administration.
THE South East lost out in the recently
constituted leadership of the House. What is
your view on that?
What happened in the House recently was the
will of God. When we were inaugurated, we
agreed to work together with the All
Progressives Congress ,APC, lawmakers. But
the APC itself was not organized in handling its
issues.
If it was in the era of PDP, this leadership
tussle would not linger. But we thank God that
the problem is over and we have put all those
things that happened behind us. APC has so far
picked its people in the leadership, so all we
have to do is to support them. In terms of
whether the South East was short-changed or
not, I will say yes, the region was short-
changed completely. There was no reason for
that.
When they were shouting during the
electioneering period that they would accord
the South East priority, I knew all were just
mere promises to get the support of our people
at the election. For me, if I had the opportunity
of going back to the polls again, I would still
support the PDP. Anyway, they have done what
they wanted. And the region will still be ill-
treated in the appointment of ministers.
On election of the Deputy Senate President, Ike
Ekweremadu
I am not in support of this hierarchy which the
two chambers of the National Assembly
emphasize in their standing rules. I condemned
it before I even stepped my feet into the House
of Representatives. In fact, I wanted to contest
for the position of Minority Leader, as a first
timer but they used the hierarchy issue to
short-live my ambition. I was not happy about
that. I would suggest that as far as you have
been elected as a member of the House of
Representatives, you should be qualified to
contest for any elective position.
This hierarchy thing is causing a lot of problems
and I like what happened in the Senate where
that jinx was broken. This means that the
emphasis on hierarchy would not be
conspicuous next time.
Do you think the South-East zone should be
compensated by the House leadership in
anyway?
The House Speaker, Yakubu Dogara should
carry every member along, irrespective of
where the person comes from. I can vow for
the speaker that he was not part of what
happened in the House of Representatives
during the composition of the House leadership
because he started preaching equity and federal
character from the day he assumed office. I
believe that Mr Speaker, in his own wisdom, will
use his power to make sure he balances the
equation in the House.
On the probe of Jonathan’s administration
I am not in support of the focus on Jonathan’s
administration. I believe that narrowing the
probe to Jonathan’s administration would
appear as if it is a personal fight. I am
personally supporting him to fight corruption but
the fight must be broad based.
It must go beyond the Jonathan administration.
They should look into the activities that
happened in previous administrations.
Like I said, narrowing it to the government of
Jonathan will show us that the Buhari
leadership is a one-sided leadership that is just
out to hunt a particular group in the country
based on their political inclination.
What is your view on the bailout fund given to
insolvent states in the country?
What the former governor of my state did was
to deliberately put the new administration in a
tight corner. And I believe that was what
happened in all the affected states. I knew the
battle we fought with the former governor when
he was trying to impose candidates on people.
The former governor made sure he emptied the
treasury of Ebonyi State so that nothing would
be left. As I am talking to you now, if I tell you
how much Ebonyi owes in the capital market
you would not believe it. Source : http://www.vanguardngr.com/?p=564331 |
BAYELSA State Governor, Seriake Dickson, was yesterday elected as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate for the December 5 polls. He was chosen at the primaries of the party held at the Samson Siasia Stadium. Declaring the result of the primaries in which Dickson was the sole candidate, Chairman of the PDP Electoral Panel and Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose said the incumbent polled 447 votes. A total of 476 delegates led by former President Goodluck Jonathan were listed for the exercise. According to Fayose, 452 delegates were accredited and five votes were voided while 24 delegates were absent. Announcing the result at the conclusion of the voting process, Fayose said: “By the power conferred on me as the chairman of the panel, Dickson is hereby retuned as PDP governorship candidate for the December 5 polls having scored the highest valid votes of 447.’’ In his acceptance speech, an elated Governor Dickson lauded the delegates for their peaceful conduct promising not to betray the confidence reposed in him. He also used the opportunity to mock the All Progressives Congress, APC, over its Tuesday’s primaries that were marred by controversy. His words: “It is with a great sense of humility and gratitude that I stand here before you all my fellow party men with whom I share this honour of being a member of a great party like this, I thank you all today. I am humble today accepting your nomination to be the humble servant of our people to fly the flag of our great party for the governorship elections that are scheduled for December 5 this year. Look for a way to send back. MY EXPERIENCE I had such an encounter some time ago, I called and returned the airtime. Not too long ago, during NYSC, I attempted ATM interbank money (10, 000) transfer to my younger sister's account and missed out a digit and went into a different account. I met the customer care and explained to them, they had to call the account owner, she confirmed it and was kind enough to return the money to my account. |

Don't make a mistake you will forever live to regret. Your current experience with this new guy might end up being an illusion that will vanish into the air. This guy may not be real. MY EXPERIENCE. Some three years back a close friend of mine during the period of waiting for service after graduation travelled to Abuja. There he met a lady, the said lady had a serious engagement and had already started marriage processes ( family and church involved). He got to know about it as soon as they started coz the girl told him. In a short while this lady diverted all her attention to my friend just because of what she heard from him and saw about him. Her relationship started having serious issues. Any body against her decision at that time became an enemy ( her pastor, family and closest friend). Note all these happening at the pace of a month. She told her supposed husband to be that she wasn't ready for him again boldly in the face with the hope that she fund new love. My guy never gave her that full hope, but she felt she could have him soon, mean while he was just a HIT AND RUN GUY. When I got to know about it I urged him to stop but behold it was late, the damage had been done. Sooner than later, in less than two months he travelled back and I tell you, THE DAY HE LEFT THAT PLACE WAS THE LAST DAY SHE HEARD FROM HIM. Take your decision and be prepared to live with it afterwards. |
