You saw a laptop of 97K. U didn't have the cash, so u borrowed 50K from ur mom and 50K from ur dad = 100K.U bought the laptop which left U with 3K change. U gave ur dad 1K & ur mum 1K and kept the other 1K to yourself. Now u owe ur mum 49K and ur dad 49K. Now 49K+49K = 98K + ur 1K kept = 99K. Where is the missing 1K? Solve it & tell me the answer! |

-Warn your girl child never to sit on anyone's laps no matter the situation including uncles. -Avoid getting dressed in front of your child once he/she is 2years old. Lean to excuse yourself. -If you have to hire a house-help please kindly take them for HIV screening to determine their HIV status, properly interview them and make up your mind to treat them well. -Never allow any adult refer to your new born as 'my wife' or 'my husband'. -Never tempt your husband with your younger sister. (Else he'd say its her's and the devil's fault) -Avoid unnecessary familiarity and make sure you take care of your husband by yourself lest you lead him into temptation. -Whenever your child goes out to play with friends make sure you look for a way to find out what kind of play they played together because young people now sexually abuse themselves. -Never force your child to visit any adult he or she is not comfortable with and alsobe observant if your child becomes too fond of a particular adult. -Once a very lively child suddenly becomes withdrawn you might need to patiently ask a lot of questions from your child. -If you don't teach your children about sex, the society will teach them the wrong values. -It is always advisable you go through any new material like cartoons you just bought for them before they start seeing it themselves. -Teach your 3year olds how to wash their private parts properly and warn them never to allow anyone touch those areas and that includes you. (remember, charity begins at home and with you) -Blacklist some materials you think could threaten the sanity of your child (that includes music, movies and musicians) and let them understand the value of standing out of the crowd. -Once your child complains about a particular person, don't keep quiet about it. Take up the case and show them you can defend them |

Abuja – A former member of the National Assembly, Sen. Daniel Saror, has criticised the prolong strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) describing it as `unfortunate’. Saror told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Monday that the development would impact negatively on the education sector especially the undergraduates. “This is causing a lot of discomfort and inconvenience to parents and children. Government should resolve the impasse immediately in the interest of the students,’’ he said. The lawmaker who represented Benue North-East Senatorial Zone between 1999 and 2007 urged the government to meet ASUU’s demands by releasing N200 billion to them. “ A N100 billion a year is of no value because it will not do anything to turn the situation around the university system’’ he said. Saror, a former Vice Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, regretted that other African countries no longer send their citizens to school in Nigeria due to incessant strikes. He stressed that more needed to be done in the education sector not only the universities but in other sections of the sector. Members ASUU have been on strike for the past three months demanding the implementation of the terms agreements it reached with government since 2009. The Federal Government had released N130 billion for the payment of some allowances and meeting the infrastructural needs of the universities. (NAN) |
yemi2plus2: Let it be noted that at the risk of sounding platitudinously humdrum, we have asseverated for the upteenth time, that the convocation of a sovereign national conference for purposes of interrogating the odoriferous vaudeville of our national jeremiad, remains the only potentand efficaciously utilitarian paspartou out of our cascading national sirocco but alas, disdain complacency to say the least and at best Olympian pococuranteism and the tedium of prescriptive poco a poco is what we have been greeted with by intellectual philistines, high priests of a prebendal state and their opprobrious agents... LOOK AM NOW? If this is indeed true, many more may follow and this deposits me in a state of heebie jeebies. |

ASUU, abeg na... E don do. Haba! The 2009 ASUU strike that lasted for 109 days brought out the best and worst in the lives of many students. When students resumed, many female students came with ENGAGEMENT RINGS and PROTRUDED BELLIES. After 9months, THOSE BELLIES produced names like: ASUKA, ASUBIKE, ASUFUNMI, ASULIMA, ABISASU… Now that these days, the weather is for two... Small time now we'd begin to see babies’ names like: COLDASUU ASUUSEYI MOJERE ASUUGBEMI ASUUTUNDE ASUUFIFEHANMI ASUUKELECHI ..........add ur own |
I’m so disappointed in most Nigerians. The way the reason are so disgusting and that is while we will remain where we are forever. The president signing contract with the Chinese govt to take over our internation airports which means he’s signing us for second slavery. Why must China help us to develop? who helped China to develop? Why can’t we help ourselves to develop. The Govt embezzle lots of money, violating Nigeria constitutions. How can 5 members of the house impeached a Governor when the Nigeria constitution says in the house of 32 members more half of them have to vote in favour to impeach an elected Governor. Why can we all be reasonable and forget about us being Yorubas, Hausas and Ibos…we are all under the umbrealla of Nigeria which makes us all Nigerians (One). In the western world they know us as Nigerians not Yoruba, Hausa or Ibo. I don’t care about who rules Nigeria, if he’s from the Yorubas, Hausas or Ibos all I care about is a good leadership. Nigerians are suffering and still there are lots of people in support of bad leadership just because the president is from their state. You all have to wake up. Lots of graduates out there with no job and some govt officials stealing money calling it national cake..God will punish them all..stupid people. Most of the people supporting Mr President and his wife are so dumb, because most of them can’t even afford to feed themselves three meals a day. So ask yourself why are you supporting bad leadership? In the western world, there is an account for every money spent, they know how much Mr President or Prime Minister salaries, allowances etc are…if it’s over, the President or Prime Minister will account for it. Is there anything like that in Nigeria? No way. I can’t say it all because it’s hurting to be seeing my country is such a state of calamity. |
