1. Most people not planning to travel do not see the need to pay money above the minimum wage to get a passport.

2. Most people without cars or do not intend to drive in the foreseeable future do not have drivers license.

3. An illiterate will obviously not have school ID.

4. Those who are petty traders, fishermen, subsistence farmers etc do not operate bank accounts and certainly don't have BVN.

5. I know enough people who still don't have NIN till date for reasons best known to them.

My friend, u will end up disenfranchising more people if u adopt any of those means of ID in place of PVC.

You have a point but almost everyone above 18 has a phone and with the new law,without a NIN your SIM will be inactive....it takes few mins to get NIN in every part of Lagos now

My state is not a swing state. When it comes to local and state elections, I am even more diligent in evaluating every candidate (lawmakers, county judges etc).
This is because I don’t vote based on party affiliations during State/ Local elections. The State/ Local elections are more important to me than the presidential elections because of its impact on me.
I’d be shocked if the Democrats keep the numbers, they know this. Americans don’t forgive or forget bad tenures.
