Chemical2: 15 months? This is definitely outside the normal processing window which is at currently 7 - 9.5 months. Did you receive RFEs previously concerning this case? I think what is needed from you is explicitly stated in the attached letter. Provide evidence of communication when the relationship started, provide evidence that either of you transferred money to each other, bank statement should suffice and provide an affidavit sworn by at least 2 people who can testify that they know when/how your relationship commenced, maybe people from where either of you reside (this one is a low hanging fruit). You can print the statement of your phone bill showing call log/data used for facetime as well. Good luck! Yes I know. I have opened case inquiries and they always respond back that our case is pending background check and can’t make any decision until the check is complete. Finally, they updated our case with RFE of documents I already submitted. Thanks tho for your tips. |

Hi guys, I just got an RFE after waiting for 15 months and they are pretty much asking for same documents I already provided. What other evidences can one provide for plans to get married (I already submitted letters saying we plan to get married as soon as she join me in the states) proof of continuous communication and how do I get WhatsApp messages and call logs, since we face time every day. See below the RFE. Yours responses are highly appreciated. Thanks

Thaiy: Congratulations to your sister. Canada will favour her. Get to dhl office with the required documents, and send to vac office. Fee is 4600 for 2-way courier, that is to sending and after stamping, it did be returned to the address of your choice that you put down. Amen! Thanks man. The 4600 covers the VAC fees right? |

Holami28: That’s almost a year.. has the petitioner tried contacting USCIS or did you guys receive an RFE? Because by now you should have heard from them. Yes I did. We actually opened a ticket and they told us we will get a decision in 45 days. The 45 days elapsed yesterday. So hopeful for an update soon. |

Coquinoqui: Happy new month! I greet the house. We just received message from nvc stating they received our application and a case number has been created and it it take weeks for them to send the application to the embassy. Can I go ahead and fill in the form ds 160 now? If you don’t mind, when was your case approved at USCIS? Just curious to know how long it took NVC to create your case number |

Hi gurus, please I need your advise, I submitted my application on May 7th and I just got a letter from IRCC stating that I qualified for NSE and I should submit my bank statement certificate and IELTS results. I’m preparing to take the exam, my issue is that my older brother is my sponsor and lives in America, he already sent me his 6 months Wellsfargo bank statement, letter from him stating he will be sponsoring all my expenses and a letter from the bank which I submitted with my application. I know mybankstatement certificate is only for Nigeria banks. Please house how do I respond to this request? |

mcobex: His statement of account will only cover the aspect of funding, but as we all know, there are other things that are involved in securing TRV e.g hometie, personal asset, purpose of visit (if your intended program is related to your previous one or present job), e.t.c. Try to fix every other aspects of your application as well. To your question, yes a statement of account from US, Canada will convince the VO that fund will be readily available for your studies when it's time Thank you Mcobex |
