Too much education made you forget your root. Believe it or not, science has its limitations. In Ala Igbo, that thing on this lady's leg is called "Achi Ere" and it is a poison that takes effect when you step on it. There's another one called "Agba Belt." It is very unfortunate that we have so called 'educated' adults who spread ignorance and falsehood in our society. This lady needs proper medical attention in a hospital. This is 2017.

I tried to resist the urge to comment on this hot topic,but I guess I'd just share my thoughts.
My first worry is why the bible verse used as the text is not quoted as it is but edited - Ephesians 5:18. And be not drunk with wine,WHEREIN IS EXCESS; but be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Another passage talks about the qualities a deacon must posses I Timothy 3:8 - Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, NOT GIVEN TO MUCH WINE, not greedy of filthy lucre;
Moderation is the key. Whatever the issue is. Too much of even a good thing can become bad. Even ordinary drinking water can become dangerous to the body if too much of it is consumed (water intoxication). A believer is expected to have the fruit of the Spirit - one of which is self control.
Second it is embarrassing that some folks here talk about non alcoholic wine. Wine by definition is ALCOHOL. Use a dictionary. Check the labels on Eva, JW, etc that have 0% alcohol. They all bear grape juice and not WINE. Even the so called non alcoholic wine has got at least 0.5% alcohol in them.

This is a welcome development by our government. Same sex marriage is a threat to the very existence of mankind. If we all turn gay for instance, in only a few years the human race would be completely wiped out.
I join my voice with that of the Pope and other right thinking Nigerians to say NO to gay marriage.
