Good morning everyone! I was looking up courses on University of Wolverhampton and the fee for my course is 16k. They also stated they have 10k scholarships.

I'd like to ask, can this scholarship be gotten before I pay the school fees or after paying some of the school fees? I need ways on how to know I'll qualify for this scholarship.

You need to read the requirement of the schorlaship and see if you are qualified, some of the scholarship in uk universities are given automatically, if you are awarded it will probably come along with your offer letter. Mine was £5k and it came two days after my admission offer.

No, I applied for visa 3 weeks after I removed my POF. I couldn't apply for visa immediately my POF matured because I ran out of funds. I had to source for money to apply later.

Yes u can wait. U can still use the statement within 31 days after the last day on the POF.
Last year, I applied for my visa 3 weeks after I terminated my 28 day POF and I got it.

Buh the money was still in the account the whole time ?

No it’s not. The ukvi might call the bank to confirm if the money is in the account. So just leave the money there until the visa is out.

Yeah, I plan on leaving it there until after I get a visa decision. But there's no way I can guarantee the exchange rate won't mess things up.

We are all on this table right now. Let’s just be hopeful that the rate will not increase more than this.

Best thing is to print it when you are ready to apply for visa to avoid story that touch. Because even if you print before you are ready to apply for visa, you will need to leave the money in the account incase the ukvi wants to confirm from the bank.

Would that bank statement still be valid to use?

Additional Payment was made before CAS was even issued, and the school said they'll communicate with Home Office --- Apparently, they didn't.

If the additional payment was updated, the POF would fly.

Okay, I get now. The person still have time to apply again sha, he/she should just communicate with the school, they should be able to issue another CAS.

I don’t think you can. The one they gave me the next day was printed on a yellow thick paper, so best thing is to go back to the hospital and get the hard copy result.

While this is not the case for all, Most schools now request Bank Statements before CAS can be issued. Nothing you fit do o that 28 days must be complete.

Omo, mine is better then, paid tuition deposit on Monday, and I got my CAS yesterday without even doing anything.

Do you have more funds in your POF to cover the difference? If not, Just pay more tuition and PLEASE GET AN UPDATED CAS (to reflect the amount).

Someone who made additional payment, and uploaded the receipt among supporting document just got denied as the CAS worker overlooked the receipt.

You are yet to get your CAS ?? why didn't you process the CAS the whole time you are running POF ? You should have just make it in a way that as you are printing the bank statement, you apply for visa straight up, that way you don't spend alot of money on owo bank.

This is crazy. If I count backwards, My 28 days ends today because I started on June 15th. But I wanted to give it an extra day to print the statement just to be safe. I had an extra 1366 pound buffer. But with the rate moving bad, it's now under 400 pounds.

But I heard UKVI uses the rate on the day you submit your online visa application not the date you print the statement, please how true is this? Because if the exchange rate goes up again on the day I submit my application online, would that not be a huge problem?

Yes, they use the rate of the day you submit your application. Just make sure you have the required fund on the day of submission, you will be fine.

I did mine with them, the result will be sent to your email same day, Buh the certificate will not be ready same day. You have to go back the next day to collect the certificate.

Yes, you don't have to. The refund is automatically paid to the account or card you paid with.

Note: The visa was still denied after administrative review.

They will refund it back to the account you paid with. It will take time sha Buh they will refund it.

Depends on your years of experience, I heard some schools will allow you do direct masters with HND if you have Atleast 10years relevant working experience. Just know that not all schools will allow you do direct masters with your HND, Buh rest assured if you see any school that wants to admit you, you can do any of the courses you listed.

On the second question, you will have to do the research yourself oo, just goto google there are over 100 uni in the U.K.

It’s that time of the year again, exchange rate have started moving mad. If you are planning to start POF soon, be sure to use a rate in excess of 2100. It’s not funny again o.

Unless you are fully loaded, don’t even think about studying and living in London. Standard of living is very very high. Accommodation alone go wan wound you.

Declaring your past visa refusal will not affect your CAS application. Some schools are just slow with issuing CAS, you will surely get it soon.

Wrong advice. Someone I know did this … 10 years ago is when his happened, hid this information and in 2024 has just started their 10 year ban for deceit and coverup… and trust that the 10 year ban is for life.
If any applicant doesn’t know what is on file for them, then they should do a SAR and find out before heeding your advice of withholding information @starline5

Not advisable. I had an Ireland visa refusal which I declared. I had no issues with my CAS (was given to me in like 3 days sef).

Did my biometrics for visa on the 25th of June and I got my visa today, 7th of July. Today is 5th though.
