Good morning,

Please I want to ask the following questions here and I will appreciate your response(s)

1. I have a study gap of about 17 years and I have only been able to get a reference letter for the most recent place I worked covering 2014- June 2024. If I can get a reference letter(no employment letter was given) to explain the remaining 7 years , what else can I do and will it affect the visa application? Reference letter is fine for the study gap.

2. I haven't been in employment since June 2024, will that be considered a gap too and what can I do about it. It's just few month, in as much you have a reference that cover upto june 2024, you will be good.

3. Can a court affidavit be used to explain study gap and how? I mean what kind of affidavit. You don't need an affidavit for study gap, work reference is fine.

Please I need the answers and suggestions as I will be send my visa application soon

For PGCE, it's best is to do it from Nigeria or in UK via online mode with a UK University.

Though applicant pay Application fee of £30
But they give 80% Tution discount so you only pay around £3500-£4000 per year only.

Instead of paying £15000-£17000 per year.

That way, you pay discounted fees and you can be working elsewhere and earning money for yourself since your study program is online.

And it's open to International students.

That's what most people are doing in UK now.

Please I stay outside Lagos and would like to know, is it a must to upload TB test while applying for visa or can I upload it whenever it's ready?
I'm thinking if I can book a TB test same week I'm expecting to get a biometric appointment date, to avoid travelling to Lagos twice. Please who can advise on this.?
Secondly, who has used the below hospital for TB test? I saw it on the UKVI site as list of approved hospital and they are quite cheap.

My sister submitted her student application since June 24th and on 27th they schedule her for online interview for 5th of July immediately after the interview she was asked to resend her statement of account which she did immediately since then nothing have been said and the passport is still pending showing received by DMC . Has anybody experienced such delay before
She send them an email on Friday and she was told that decision had been made and up till now is still showing received by DMC

I completed my undergraduate degree in Animal Production, and I am now preparing to study the accelerated two-year Nursing Programme in the UK. I hope to apply for my visa next week. My issue now is figuring out what documents to submit, enough to satisfy the requirements but not too much to raise unnecessary questions, or too little that could lead to further inquiries.

I have an 8-year study gap. Here is what I have so far:
- NYSC certificate (2018)
- Employment letters (2019-2023)
- Reference letter from a hospital where I volunteered (2022-2023)
- I haven't been working in an official capacity since late of 2023, so there's no reference to show for it.
- I also have a small professional course Diploma certificate and a result statement from a UK institute (distance learning).

Should I include all this? are there some that are not necessary? Are there some more documents that I need?
