It looks like the UK has introduced visa interviews for student visas. Do you know anyone who has applied for a student visa recently and got approved or rejected without an interview ?

Some of the schools in UK have started verifying document. This is university of reading, they are setting stringent rules now, this is as a result of nigerians in the uk owing tuition fees, owing rents, submitting fake documents for admission and visa process. Sometimes I regret not leaving this country earlier.

They are going to ask you why you want to study in the Uk, your chosen course, future career plans, and how you plan to finance your studies.

There is nothing to be worried of if all your documents are genuine, they just wanted to be sure you are a genuine student.

There are schools that still accept 1k-2k. Buh the problem is that there tuition is very high. Also, when you check the Russell schools, I don’t think any of them have deposit that’s more than the 2,500. Buh the tuition na die

I know people with real funds who have been denied a study visa.

Also, pray the embassy doesn't call you for an interview and you can't prove you know about the school.

someone here on nairaland opened a thread on Northumbria , I don't think it is a good school to go for now if you don't have atleast 80% of your fees.
