Family / Re: Is It Wise For Parents To Bath With Their Young Children by tearface(f): 12:22am On Jun 23, 2008
I sincerely think its not fair! How can U subject a child to that?I mean its torture.I'm a very private person and I can stand unclothedness. When I was in the Uni I run out of the toilet each time I enter it and there's a naked girl taking a bath, And that is at my age.How much more a child?I think it is things like this that expose our children to sex at a young agewhich are all complaining about today.  angry angry

Godalone:

There is a clear difference between typographical error and bad english.
I think she didnt disclose her real age andmay be between 8&10yrs.
Anyway what she needs is comfort.

Family / Re: Why The World Is Full Of Unmarried Big Girls by tearface(f): 11:32pm On Jun 22, 2008
Nezerst, U R sooo right!People, we need to understand that all these runs do not stop girls from getting married.I have also seen all the naughty girls in my class married - and are lucky at it too;while most of the decent ones are NOT.
Marriage is a lovely thing and most marriageable girls(whether flirts or not), want to get into it.Alot of factors are responsible for this, including men's avoidance of responsibility.

@babs747
Salaam.Have been following your posts lately and I can see that you are a true soldier of Allah.May Allah accept your act and reward you with Jannatul Firdaus for your defence of His religion.
Honestly speaking, when I opened this thread I was very angry and I just wanted to blast the people, but as I went through I realised that its not worth it.I realised that there are people who are honestly ignorant and want to findout the truth and there are people who are looking for an avenue to insult Islam and Muslims. And if we realise that that is what they want, lets not give it to them.I'd advice that next time we see a thresd like this, lets just ignore it.
Lets show them what Islam is about-Peace!
Islam for Muslims / Pls Advice by tearface(f): 8:52pm On Jun 20, 2008
Salaam Alaikum.
If a father gives out his daughter in marriage, accepts conditional gifts, can he nullify the marrriage after 2yrs.The father has given no reason and he has refused to listen to anybody. He has even threatened that if the girl raises the issue again he will never forgive her.
Is it Islamically permissible for him to do that?
Islam for Muslims / Re: Muslims: What Did You Learn In Islam Recently? by tearface(f): 11:55pm On Jun 19, 2008
One thing we constantly hear from the followers of Islam is that, "There is no compulsion in religion." Perhaps someone could then explain the hadith of sahih Bukhari vol. 1, book 11/ number626. This hadith states quite clearly that The Great Prophet ordered the the homes, and the people in them , to be burnt for not heeding the call to prayers. Maybe you have a different meaning for the word "compulsion" but as I understand it and the dictionary explains it, compulsion it was.

The issue here concerns only muslims. The hadith came only to show the importance of the 2 prayers. In Islam, every act has its rewards or punishment. The prophet is trying to show people that if they ignore these prayers that is the punishment they will meet unless God forgives them. So, the prophet did that to save the people from the punishment. And I have not yet stumbled upon anything that says he has ever carried-out the act.

Assalam Alaikum

There's an issue that has being bothering me for sometime now and I dont know how to approach it, but by Allah's mercy I stumbled upon this forum today. . . .If a father gives out his daughter's hand in marriage, receives conditional gifts, and fixes the date of the marriage, can he later (after 2 yrs and for no just reason), decide to nullify it eventhough the couples are still interested in each other? And if he does so, how can he be influenced out of his decision?PLS ADVICE ME
Food / Re: My Boyfriend Avoids My Cooking by tearface(f): 10:54pm On May 02, 2008
One advice,DONT BOTHER COOKING ANYMORE.Forget about him and he will ask.If anything happens to him now, it will be your fault.

I've been dating for almost 3yrs before I ate anything my fiance brought. Now my family is saying that he has put love portion in the food he brings over. Can you imagine?-And they are threatening our relationship. cry
People cn be stupid. Not necessarily him,but you can experience something from his family, friends, anybody.
Take care. grin

Wow!Bank Palaver.I dont know why these banks are giving us headaches.I nearly lost my masters admiission this session because First Bank had a network problem.I was out of town and I returned to realise that the sale of forms was to stop on that day.I rushed to the nearest branch only to realise that I cannot withdraw except from the branch where my account was domiciled and their ATM machne was out of service.Thank God I have another account ith Sterling.I rushed to the nearest branch and it saved my admission.

I had another experience with Afribank.Network, too!!! angry An Aunt of mine was urgently in need of money,so I deposited some into her account. She checked and it wasnt there. So I went back to the bank to confirm if I had sent it to the right account only to find the hall full of people all waiting to check their balance and I was told that the bank has been having a network problem.

GT and Zenith, please save the Bama people by opening branches there.

Family / Re: Do You Have A Step Mum? by tearface(f): 11:08pm On Apr 29, 2008
I do have a step mom.Sort of nice on the outside, but terribly dark onthe inside.Usually, a step mother is always looking for a way to get rid of the step children, but mine wants meto stay - for a reason I do not know. My wedding date was fixed, but things have gone down the drain. She told my father that he doesn't greet her and doesnt play with her kids. All a bunch of lies!I tried talking to my father but he has refused to listen.I have an audio recording of her confessing to all she is doing.I played to my uncles, but none of them can talk to my father.
I've tried to be the a very good girl, but I'm thinking of sparking anytime from now because I now believe that being good doesnt help.

YOU DONT HAVE TO KILL SOMEONE TO BE A WITCH .Some step mothers are WITCHES and I dont pray for my worst enemy's children to go through what I went through. cry cry cry cry cry
