Kano state is bounded by Katsina, Kaduna and Sokoto. All these three states are playing fields for bandits and terrorists.

However, I hardly see Kano on the list.

Like, I'm not sure I've read of any mass killings or kidnappings in Kano recently. Even during El-rufai that kidnapping was normalized, you hardly hear of such in Kano.

Is it that they are hiding it or under reporting it?

If the above is not the case, what model are they using that other states can learn from?

About 5 states in Nigeria can actually grow this thing in large quantity. But Nigerian government and her citizens hate the whole idea of farming.

Till infinity, an average Nigerian believes farming is for poor people or better still, those living in the village. POS girl prefer to collect 25k at the end of the month than to own a farm and earn 500k per year with hard labour

Nigerians get so angry once it looks like farmers are cashing out. They'll be like "these farmers are greedy, Tinubu should open border" . You'll never hear "I need to start farming", or "I want to invest in agriculture".

Nigerian government can spend trillions of naira on redundant NNPC and Ajaokuta staff than to budget N2B to create proper access roads to farms in 10 of the highest food producing states.

Somehow, we as a nation have all agreed that farmers should be confined to a life of poverty, poor infrastructure and inexposure.

Make we de go like that

That is not how it works. Law is not built on morality.

Typical of Nigerian government officials.

Always reactive and not proactive. Look at the case in Edo. For years there's been insecurity along that route and Nigeria at large.

The residents have cried, complained and done all sorts for government to respond, nothing happened. They took the law into their hands and all of a sudden their illiterate governor started reacting left, right and centre. Suspending the state security corp leader, visiting the place, going to Kano and doing all sorts with his face that looks like a doll

You'll see heavy duty trucks and tankers with fuel moving in a crowded area. Once a break failure occurs and lives are lost, a governor will go there and talk. Next thing tankers and trucks will be bared from moving in the day time. Asin if it doesn't cause a lot of pain and anger, it doesn't get attended to

It has always been like that in this country since it's Inception. The government prefer to react when it happens than to put measures in place to make sure it doesn't happen.

This is very future proof, the next Nigeria regime should have it in mind to build a futuristic business, technology, industrial and commercial capital for Nigeria by carving out parts of kogi and Edo state bordering river Niger where there's enough space, dredging it via the river niger down to the Atlantic Ocean, there is land very much unutilized around that axis, and build a hyper scale futuristic technology and commercial capital that will host next generation business hubs.

Just tell us you want the capital to be moved close to your state of origin. Which one is enough space? Abuja hasn't even utilized up to 10% of it's land. Some countries of the world are landlocked, yet richer than the entire Nigeria. It's not by enough land or Atlantic ocean
