zinaunreal: Which exact countries did you go to because I didn't see any country better than Nigeria. They are only good at managing themselves. All I saw was rubbish You see that "good at managing themselves"...... That is what makes the difference! If some of those countries had 1/4 of our wealth.... We will be begging to get visa to relocate there. |

If you have never stepped out of Nigeria... You would think other African nations are shit.
When I was promoted and transferred to head West Africa, I was still fooling myself that we were far ahead of them simply because we could speak polished English, and we had big names here and there.
But then...
Uninterrupted power/pipe-borne water Stable currency/economy Very peaceful environment Crazy salary (I mean very crazy) Very tight security
The best part is how these things are done without any form of fanfare. Roads will be constructed and opened without any form of commissioning.
Your light will trip off at midnight, one single call, and the guys from the electricity company will drive down and fix it.
Some African countries are developing quietly, ours is just to fill the Internet with arguments, and unnecessary noise.
Before I left, 10,000 CFA exchanged for N25,000.... "If you know what you're doing..." Getting a job that pays between 800k to 1.5m CFA won't be a problem. |

"He without sin shall cast the first stone
So y'all look in the mirror, double-check your appearance"
Ya'll should allow the man to enjoy his hustle.

I wonder why you people boycott proper communication channels for social media, where noise often replaces substance and performative outrage achieves little beyond temporary attention.
If the goal was to genuinely raise concerns or influence change, the more effective approach would have been to formally write to the Archbishop or the church’s leadership.
This topic is better suited for discussion within your church’s internal platforms, like your WhatsApp group. The audience here represents only a very small and unrepresentative fraction. |

SixSeven: Guys don't forget that Dangote challenged the oil regulator boss to show Nigerians how he pays for his kids schooling in Switzerland private schools!
Those kind of children, do you think they will work a minimum wage job and be okay? That's why they all want their kids to join CBN, NNPC, FIRS and where all the cookie jars are but leave you all to work for NIS, Nigerian Army and Police, places they have neglected and destroyed for the common man. Children of the elites don't even like working in these places that you mentioned. Some years ago, during the documentation of a financial transaction, I asked a staff of one of these parastatals you mentioned for his employment letter. He told me that he hasn't been issued one... According to him, most of them that were recruited via recommendation just resume work without any form of documentation, and most of the"rich kids" resign or abandon the job two to three months after employment, upon discovering that the salary and allowances cannot fund their lifestyles. They prefer to gallivant round town and enjoy their parent's loot. |
