URGENT! cool

My sauce just called me, and from all indications, APL is ready but it's release now solely depends on the ongoing war between IRAN and America... I believed him because Iran is an Oil nation. Therefore, to hasten APL, we can all go to twitter and tell TRUMP to stop escalations.

My sauce is at the Towers.... I mean America TOWERS.

I cannot be in this trend without a sauce for 8months...... undecided undecided

Bitter truth
NNPC is paying you guys for "thank you for showing interest to work with us"

WHILE

The true holders of Appointment letters are the one paying NNPC for the Job.

Many will almost run mad when APL start dropping, that day you will regret been a Nigerian.
Don't trust the system, it's by connection and how
much you can buy the slot. Nobody is interested in your big grammars and first class.
Nairaland warriors it's high time you divert your energy and look for a very strong link instead of you guys wasting your time here . many that will be appointed are not on nairaland..

Forget about the thousands of people NNPC is about to employ.. All the slot can be sold out under a week or two..don't let them raise your hope by letting you guys sees it as a mass recruitment. No matter the high figure it cannot be enough for those ready to buy the slots.. Any recruitment process been delayed like this means buying and selling is yet to be completed..

Doubting Thomas.......

Am sure you were not qualified to apply for the job, talk more of been invited for the test or interview. Na dem grin grin. Unfortunately, some guys here will still take you serious after spewing what you knew nothing about with bitterness.

Someone forwarded this to me on whatsapp... I think its relevant here as we await the APL after lot of theories upon theories

"Maturity is not when you exit a group because people are discussing nonsense in it. Maturity is when you introduce tangible topics of discussion and engage members.

Those who pretend to be mature by exiting groups later live lonely lives wishing to be added. This decision is usually triggered by Inferiority complex and the desire to feel wanted and missed. That is not a solution. Be active like the rest and embrace diversity.

A group must contain the funny, the holy, the soccer pundits, the confused, the trouble makers, the business pundits, the stupid, the silent ,the intellectuals, the rich, the poor and the joyriders

You do not have to be tied down unnecessarily by stereotypes. This world is laden with necessary diversities that create a more organic whole in you and out of you

Just learn to coexist among your peers, but more importantly, learn to tolerate others including their views. That neither means you agree nor that you are unwise. It adds to your greatness and strength"

I still find it difficult to understand why would any local man/woman find it so difficult to believe there are few guys who can actually reject NNPC offer on this trend....

I personally know of two people who can do that. They went through the recruitment process (YES), though they don't comment here but follow this trend as time permit.

I can't dare rejecting NNPC messenger's offer grin talk more of GT position (Not even in my dream), another local man here may also not dare it... but there are few guys who can. I was among the millions who successfully submitted application when the portal was first opened. Luckily, I was among the 60k invited for the test. As a nairaland indigen, I quickly find and joined the trend to gather all necessary info. Just as I did when I was seeking admission into the University, when I wanted to go for NYSC and almost everything I want to do that needed interactions.. Thanks to those who shared multitudes of past questions and answers here.

I read everything like never before and funny enough, I went to the exam center with GMAT 2007. My test was scheduled at 10am, and I got to the center before 8am. I had enough time to go through the GMAT while in my car till 10am. Unfortunately, nothing like GMAT came out in the test. I was pissed off when the simple and compound interest questions I was so sure of had no correct answers. I had to choose the nearest answers.

When did Nig joined OPEC, I wrongly chose 1972, the guy beside me who had made several effort to cheat, saw my answer and corrected me. He seemed to be so sure about it. So I reluctantly changed my answer to 1971. He later asked for 4 answers in place of the one he told me. As an Accounting student, I was familiar with all the history and the Mathematics questions, so I did my best and left the exam hall.

My Interview Experience

It was the best interview I ever had. Even though I used days to study NNPC and its subsidiaries, my prayer point was for the panel to only ask me questions I know best and can remember.

I was interviewed by panel 8 on July 2nd. After the panel chairman offered me a seat, one of the panel members immediately asked for the meaning of my name and I replied Goodluck. Mine is an Islamic name... they are all Christians (according to their names). So I understand why he asked. My interview questions were four or five questions on accounting ( I knew everything like every accounting graduate would do.).

Followed by a two questions about my consultancy firm. Why did I registered a company with such a funny name? What motivated us to do such a great job and what are the challenges we face and how we solved them.

One safety question, then they asked me to share an experience about my trying time with them. I did, and I also asked them a question which the chairman answered.

I asked if we will learn on the job or there is any training school for Accounting and management GT. Then they wished me a safe trip back home.

I NEVER RECEIVE ALERT ( I de expect ham since sha)... Its been prayer session ever since then, not only me oooOOoo. The whole family and village people are supporting me.

Everyday, my Mum will call from the village to ask if they've called me? The answer is No. She will say, Insha Allah, you will be among the successful ones. We are praying on it....

All the best to everyone.

I recently secured an employment with a farm in canada with my grade 12 cert (WAEC)... More of a laborer job with opportunity to move in with my wife and only son in October. The plan is to quit the job after two years (when contract expired) and must had completed or about to complete Msc in Canada by then (My plan). With the employment letter and other valid documents, the Visa will be very easy...

Though, I'm yet to apply for Visa as I'm anxiously expecting the outcome of this NNPC recruitment. Whether I will apply for visa or not solely depends on this NNPC. Its a lifetime opportunity for me to work as a professional in my own country. I believe I can visit Canada or send my children to school abroad later in life if I finally made it in Nigeria.

I think you should consider this NNPC offer above M.Sc in Canada for now. You can get that later in life while working in your dream company not as hustler abroad.
NigelCundy:
Good morning everyone. Please, I need your advice on this.

Which one would you pick:
1. Masters Degree in Canada (Not Scholarship)
2. NNPC Graduate Trainee (If successful)

Your advice and reasons will be highly appreciated.

One of my clients fell for this scam last week.

He sent the code received through his phone to the strange caller. We are still on the matter. Millions of naira involved. Everyone should be careful.
Bodylicious:
Somebody called me a number telling me he was doing some registration online and he mistakenly put my number on what he was registering, that my number is similar to his number and that the password of what he was registering was sent to my phone which I actually saw as 6310.
He was now appealing to me to give him the reset code that was sent to my phone so that he could finish his registration. I told him to call me with the number he claimed was similar to mine so that I could verify his claim, he told me he didn't have credit in that line.
I got online to find out more, only to discover he was actually trying to reset my bank online/yahoomail password and that he is a fraudster, an account hacker and also a 419er. If I had given him the code which was sent to my phone, he would have used it to reset my bank online/mobile app account.
Please let us be careful and vigilant. Fraudsters are devising new ways every day.
This is a new way of defrauding people...
Share to prevent others from being defrauded.

So many arguments and Counter Argument

So all those connect connect with small gods in the towers cannot clear this matter? If thats the case, am coming up with a theories and hypotheses toooo....

mosgoon:
haha..today has yet taken another turn..well, while everyone shouldn't take all claims serious about this Tfare-APL conundrum (remember yesterday someone said his source rubbished the idea, and now today the opposite..so different sources with contrasting feedback - a good sign of uncertainty)
but for fun lol, approaching this situation from a logical standpoint, why would NNPC re-imburse that early. Re-imbursement means expenses..so think of it this way, why would NNPC create expenses that early. All companies hate expenses/costs and try to reduce them at the slightest opportunity. So now let's assume there is a conspiracy theory (which i doubt) think this way ''HYPOTHETICALLY", as if you are NNPC.

why should we spend additional money that quickly for a certain number of applicants, remember we would like to cut cost. what could compel us to spend money on certain applicants this early. lets see our expenses at this stage concering Tfare and renumeration..

successful applicants renumeration + Tfare renumeration(for unsuccessful candidates) + Tfare renumeration (for successful candidates)...

I want to cut cost, which is dispensable?

i'm going to spend twice on successful applicants, i can cut that cost by not giving them their Tfare since i would still spend on them with the renumeration and then spend on Tfare renumeration for unsuccessful candidates.expenses become

successful applicants renumeration + Tfare renumeration(for unsuccessful candidates).

now this is assuming there is any such conspiracy which i once again doubt lol. The above is just for play grin thinking logically

Look over my Shoulder. It's a case interview tutorial material for management consulting firms done by Victor Cheng, the very popular former management consultant at Mckinsey (the top management consulting firm in the world) and case inteview tutor. But it's really expensive (100k in naira) and i found out it was critical to me getting the Mckinsey job in Mck Nigeria as a business analyst. My time at Mck also made me know how valuable the material is due to several case studies i was exposed to and how many applicants to Mck don't prepare well. So in summary LOMS includes both candidate-led case style dialogues and interviewer-led/command and control formats and it's very beneficial for all levels including associate level above which allows only applicants with MBAs
