URGENT! ![]() My sauce just called me, and from all indications, APL is ready but it's release now solely depends on the ongoing war between IRAN and America... I believed him because Iran is an Oil nation. Therefore, to hasten APL, we can all go to twitter and tell TRUMP to stop escalations. My sauce is at the Towers.... I mean America TOWERS. I cannot be in this trend without a sauce for 8months...... ![]() |

Someone forwarded this to me on whatsapp... I think its relevant here as we await the APL after lot of theories upon theories "Maturity is not when you exit a group because people are discussing nonsense in it. Maturity is when you introduce tangible topics of discussion and engage members. Those who pretend to be mature by exiting groups later live lonely lives wishing to be added. This decision is usually triggered by Inferiority complex and the desire to feel wanted and missed. That is not a solution. Be active like the rest and embrace diversity. A group must contain the funny, the holy, the soccer pundits, the confused, the trouble makers, the business pundits, the stupid, the silent ,the intellectuals, the rich, the poor and the joyriders You do not have to be tied down unnecessarily by stereotypes. This world is laden with necessary diversities that create a more organic whole in you and out of you Just learn to coexist among your peers, but more importantly, learn to tolerate others including their views. That neither means you agree nor that you are unwise. It adds to your greatness and strength" Sources: Whatsapp Friend |
I still find it difficult to understand why would any local man/woman find it so difficult to believe there are few guys who can actually reject NNPC offer on this trend.... I personally know of two people who can do that. They went through the recruitment process (YES), though they don't comment here but follow this trend as time permit. I can't dare rejecting NNPC messenger's offer talk more of GT position (Not even in my dream), another local man here may also not dare it... but there are few guys who can. Just like you can easily reject 100k job offer, millions of young Nigerians can't (100k job is a dream comes true for them)... and we are all here on nairaland. |
For Nigerian students interested in UK universities for Masters into various programmes. You will find this useful>> https://www.myschooltrick.com/2019/07/masters-admission-into-uk-universities-nigerian-students.html |
I was among the millions who successfully submitted application when the portal was first opened. Luckily, I was among the 60k invited for the test. As a nairaland indigen, I quickly find and joined the trend to gather all necessary info. Just as I did when I was seeking admission into the University, when I wanted to go for NYSC and almost everything I want to do that needed interactions.. Thanks to those who shared multitudes of past questions and answers here. I read everything like never before and funny enough, I went to the exam center with GMAT 2007. My test was scheduled at 10am, and I got to the center before 8am. I had enough time to go through the GMAT while in my car till 10am. Unfortunately, nothing like GMAT came out in the test. I was pissed off when the simple and compound interest questions I was so sure of had no correct answers. I had to choose the nearest answers. When did Nig joined OPEC, I wrongly chose 1972, the guy beside me who had made several effort to cheat, saw my answer and corrected me. He seemed to be so sure about it. So I reluctantly changed my answer to 1971. He later asked for 4 answers in place of the one he told me. As an Accounting student, I was familiar with all the history and the Mathematics questions, so I did my best and left the exam hall. My Interview Experience It was the best interview I ever had. Even though I used days to study NNPC and its subsidiaries, my prayer point was for the panel to only ask me questions I know best and can remember. I was interviewed by panel 8 on July 2nd. After the panel chairman offered me a seat, one of the panel members immediately asked for the meaning of my name and I replied Goodluck. Mine is an Islamic name... they are all Christians (according to their names). So I understand why he asked. My interview questions were four or five questions on accounting ( I knew everything like every accounting graduate would do.). Followed by a two questions about my consultancy firm. Why did I registered a company with such a funny name? What motivated us to do such a great job and what are the challenges we face and how we solved them. One safety question, then they asked me to share an experience about my trying time with them. I did, and I also asked them a question which the chairman answered. I asked if we will learn on the job or there is any training school for Accounting and management GT. Then they wished me a safe trip back home. I NEVER RECEIVE ALERT ( I de expect ham since sha)... Its been prayer session ever since then, not only me oooOOoo. The whole family and village people are supporting me. Everyday, my Mum will call from the village to ask if they've called me? The answer is No. She will say, Insha Allah, you will be among the successful ones. We are praying on it.... All the best to everyone. |
I have a friend in Manitoba.... I through him paid one of their genuine recruitment agents who submitted my resume to various companies. So many interview came before this present offer though. You can do the same if you have anyone over there. Beware of online fraudsters. Pls. samwills45: |
I recently secured an employment with a farm in canada with my grade 12 cert (WAEC)... More of a laborer job with opportunity to move in with my wife and only son in October. The plan is to quit the job after two years (when contract expired) and must had completed or about to complete Msc in Canada by then (My plan). With the employment letter and other valid documents, the Visa will be very easy... Though, I'm yet to apply for Visa as I'm anxiously expecting the outcome of this NNPC recruitment. Whether I will apply for visa or not solely depends on this NNPC. Its a lifetime opportunity for me to work as a professional in my own country. I believe I can visit Canada or send my children to school abroad later in life if I finally made it in Nigeria. I think you should consider this NNPC offer above M.Sc in Canada for now. You can get that later in life while working in your dream company not as hustler abroad. NigelCundy: |
