Celebrities / Get In Touch With The First Nigerian To Travel To The Space by Techcribs2002: 11:43am On Oct 02, 2018

The Medicine and Surgery graduate was selected through a programme called Rising Star at the widely-reported One Young World Summit 2014 in Dublin, to embark upon a once-in-a-lifetime trip to space.
He graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University and attended Adetola Odutola College, Ijebu-Ode.

In an interview, Osonuga expressed his feeling at the prospect.

“I cannot wait to go to space. It is an opportunity of a lifetime. I f I do, I will be the first black African and Nigerian to be in space. That’s just a part of it. Succeeding would help me do more humanitarian work, to solve more problems/needs on a very large scale,”

“I also believe that going to space, considering my background, will inspire millions of African children from similar backgrounds to achieve their dreams. It will also put Nigeria in a positive light again and help change the world’s perception of Nigeria,” he said.

He also has a foundation, Heal the World Foundation Nigeria, which basically support children with disabilities, orphans and the less-privileged.

He was also a volunteer worker during the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

“My advice for young people is to dream and dream big. You don’t owe anybody an apology to fulfil your dreams. Dream big, pursue it and give it your best shot,” he concluded.

Phones / Thinking Of Buying A Camera Phone Use This As Your Guide by Techcribs2002: 5:51pm On Sep 13, 2018
Today on Techcribs we are going to discuss about the best android phone with good cameras that you can use for year 2018.

The first thing you need to know is that megapixels dosent determine the quality of a good camera. The aparture of a camera is what really determines the viability. Here is a list of compiled phones by TCB_media.

1.Samsung Galaxy S9: The best phone camera yet
Superficially, the Galaxy S9’s camera hasn’t changed much. Equipped with a single 12-megapixel sensor with dual-pixel phase-detection autofocus and optical image stabilisation, nothing here is new – aside from the super-wide f/1.5 aperture. This alone changes everything.

This allows the S9’s camera to let much more light in, brightening up shots and capturing crisper details. You don’t even have to do anything to see the benefit – the camera cleverly widens the aperture automatically when light levels reach below 100 lux.

The S9’s camera is the clear winner here, with excellent low-light shots and heaps of detail captured in more camera-friendly lighting conditions. The video hardware is also upgraded, with the S9 able to record 720p resolution footage at 960fps, stretching 0.2 seconds of footage into six seconds of video.
Samsung Galaxy S9 (Single SIM) 64 GB 5.8-Inch Android 8.0 Oreo UK Version SIM-Free Smartphone – Midnight Black

2.Huawei P20 Pro: Triple-camera threat

Huawei’s P20 Pro has a rather unusual triple-camera arrangement. The standard 40-megapixel RGB camera and 20-megapixel monochrome camera work together to deliver images of greater dynamic range with lower noise than would otherwise be possible with a single camera, while the monochrome sensor captures detail-rich black and white photographs.

The third camera – an 8-megapixel 3x telephoto lens (80mm equivalent focal length) – merely adds optical zoom. Notably, this is the only lens that’s optically stabilised, but what’s most impressive is that the P20 Pro is capable of capturing images at a maximum 102,400 ISO sensitivity.

3. iPhone X: Best for video
Apple’s iPhone X is the most expensive phone on the list – and the priciest phone ever released for that matter – but it does a mighty fine job of taking reliable photos and crisp, steady 4K video at 60fps.

The X has two cameras on the rear, both 12 megapixels, both using Sony sensors. One is a wide-angle camera, the other a 2x telephoto lens. The key difference between this and the iPhone 8 Plus is that the telephoto camera has a slightly brighter aperture at f/2.4 and it’s optically stabilised, too, just like the main f/1.8 camera.

While still image quality excellent – with the X building on Apple’s excellent portrait mode – the best thing is the iPhone X’s video capabilities. Capturing footage at 4K resolution at a maximum framerate of 60fps, no other smartphone’s video efforts come close when it comes to this level of quality. It’s absurdly expensive, but that’s the sky-high price you pay for excellent-quality video on-the-go.

4. OnePlus 6: The best mid-range camera
The One Plus 6’s rear snapper incorporates one 16-megapixel, f/1.7 main camera and another, 20-megapixel f/1.7 camera right beside it. Both work hand in hand to produce fantastic-quality snaps and some of the best we’ve seen on a device at this price.

Just like with the iPhone 8 Plus, the 20-megapixel camera helps with producing an iPhone-like Bokeh effect on portrait shots. The quality is great, and although it’s not right up there with the Galaxy S9, it’s very impressive for the money.

5. Google Pixel 2: Best for portrait shots
Just missing out on the podium, the Pixel 2’s camera is still remarkable. Featuring an almost identical 12-megapixel rear snapper to last year’s Google phone, the Pixel 2 has a wider f/1.8 aperture, with both optical and electronic image stabilisation for seriously stable shots.

The Pixel 2’s wide aperture is well suited for low-light photography and in good light, the Pixel 2 produced pictures with superb dynamic range and colour saturation, while the white balance was much more accurate. And with Google improving the performance of its HDR+ processing algorithms, it’s quicker to capture images as well.

The Pixel really does set a brand new smartphone photography benchmark, distancing itself even further from its predecessor, but what truly makes this phone stand out is its portrait mode capabilities.

6. Motorola Moto G6: The best camera on a budget
The cheapest option on this list, Motorola’s Moto G6 offers the best smartphone camera for less than £200. The Moto G6’s dual-camera arrangement, with a 12-megapixel f/1.8 lens and 5-megapixel f/2.2 depth sensor, captured an abundance of detail, with stunningly sharp image definition.

Outdoors, colours were wonderfully accurate picking up plenty of detail in neighbouring brickwork. It’s even a decent performer indoors too, with visual noise kept to a minimum. Pick up the Moto G6 if you don’t want to spend too much.

Phones / Use This Trick To Get Your Instagram Account Verified by Techcribs2002: 12:34am On Sep 11, 2018
Instagram which is one of the most popular social networks in the world at the moment, being used by individuals, celebrities, public figures and brands. The Instagram verification is majorly used to differentiate real accounts from fake, but it is now also used to seperate the “big boys & girls” from the small ones.

This blue tick beside the name of verified IG users is something that is envied by so many people. The good news now is that you don’t need to be a super-star before having your Instagram account verified anymore, as the verification feature is now available for everyone.

In this post, I’ll be showing you how to request for verification on Instagram and get the blue tick next to your username.

See full post here>>

http://techcribs.com.ng/how-to-get-your-instagram-account-verified/

Easy Steps to get Verified on Instagram (The Blue tick)

* Open the Instagram app and navigate to Settings;

* Step 2: Scroll down and tap Request Verification;

* Input your account name, full name, and upload a photo of your ID or a legal or business ID. This may be your National ID card, voter’s card, International passport, driver’s license or any government issued identity card;

* Click the SEND button

Note: Requesting for verification does not mean that you will get verified as Instagram would have to review your request and then decide whether or not to verify you. Also, there is no timeline as to when they would reply or answer the request too.

Other tips to get the Instagram verification quick is to use a good profile picture, well written bio, and mostly importantly: being very active on the platform.
