I reached out to Grey support at their official handle @Greyfinance for a complaint about my dollar card. And the impersonated account on X with Grey Finance as username with their logo sent me a DM to resolve my complaint

In the DM was a phishing link that I was requested to click to submit my complaint. The phishing link leads to a fake Grey website that is an exact replica of original Grey website except if I had look at the URL for confirmation. I would have detected it.

That was how my log in details on the fake grey website was harvested by the scammer to hack my Grey account and stole all the dollars in my account.

How he bypassed my 2FA? It's a mistery to me. But Grey told me the hacker intercepted my 2FA sms codes.

Even after I changed my password later, I still no longer getting 2FA sms codes to my phone number anymore.

2FA sms code is not strong. Google authenticator is stronger. Google authenticator could have saved me. But you know the default setting on Grey account is 2FA sms code until you change it yourself.

If you trace the wallet address, you will discover I was the 5th person the scammer have hacked on Grey app and use crypto withdrawal option .

The big lesson I have learnt is to open a domiciliary account with a commercial account and never use all this Fintech app anymore. They are not safe.

Security of funds is most paramount.

If it were a commercial bank that the funds was with and I have a customer complaint to make, I would have physically gone to one of their branches and not publicly expose myself to an impersonated Grey customer support on X or a phishing link.

Damn, I know that kind of phishing.

I remember a Nigerian fintech CEO that said he didn't want to create a website version because of Many phishing links and hacks, he created only app version which is harder to impersonate.

Sorry about your loss Man, I've been hacked for over 95% of my portfolio so I know how it feels.

What is happening to you is a common occurrence in Lagos and we did it to a few of our tenants.

They paid and moved in after like 2 months so that we can put finishing touches in the apartment.

Nigerians should brace up as rent will keep getting higher or there won't be houses anymore or we just find another means because of the difficulties in building projects especially when government refuses to alleviate the situation.

I started house hunting since January and till June I couldn't find anything decent worth my money, my budget was 1.5m for a 1bed and one Agent had to tell me I should up my budget to 2m.

Honestly it got to a point, I kinda got fed up and was like let me just do, Moreover the house in question was worth it, Upstairs, balcony, POP, Spacious kitchen, 2 toilets, even corridor and all.

Now after over 6 months house Hunting, I finally got a house, I paid for it since early June and guess what? Nobody prepared me for this, Today is 1 month + since I made payment and I haven't even gotten my keys.

If not that it was a well reputable lawyer with a reputable office, I'd have said I was scammed.

According to them, They said they still have some finishings and will be done soon, days turned into weeks, weeks turned month, now it's one month plus.

When I went for inspection the house looks 95% complete so I just don't know what's the problem, imagine waiting 7 months only to get a house and you're forced to wait again, Lagos!!!!!!

As if the outrageous prices for their houses isn't enough!!!!!!

Now, My question is, Will the rent starts counting when I made payment or during collection of keys? Cos it's obvious one month have been spent waiting.

Can any lawyer or landlord help with that? I don't mind waiting anymore cos I'm tired but then my only request is that the rent must start counting from collection of keys.

I went there and this people haven't even connected light to grid nor complete the number of private prepaid meters.

Only half of the units of flats there has been gotten.

I noticed someone have moved in and when I angrily asked they said his case was emergency.

I can't even stay there though cos electricity is a key thing to my job since I work remotely but Dammnnn!

If I hear my rent starts counting June!

The Blackout Marks: There are sloppy, manual digital paint strokes covering up the top left text and a massive, jagged black/white block in the top right corner. Real apps have smooth, uniform backgrounds.

The Missing Interface: The entire bottom half of the screen is a solid black void. Real trading apps (like MetaTrader) always have navigation tabs at the bottom (Quotes, Charts, History, Settings) and grid lines. It was entirely painted over to hide a fake interface.

Text Artifacts: The blue "profit" text has different pixel fuzziness (compression) around it compared to the rest of the text, meaning it was pasted onto the image afterward.

It is a 100% simulated or photoshopped screenshot.

So after house hunting in Lagos(Omo not for the weak ooh especially if you're on budget )

I saw some good houses but confused one the one to choose.

1. Is perfect has everything, Modern and new but the location is bad although very accessible to a federal road but with 1k bike.

2. The location is okay and open, modern but then the house for that price is not worth it (very small and have one or two commas) but then I guess location affects prices and I'm really not ready to up budget again and again (1.5m for 1bed, 2m for 2bed)

What do you suggest?

The s series is notorious for lines. I used the S21 and my wife used the s22. Both developed lines. The A7 i bought since 2019 is still going strong today while both s series don pafuka.
