In this rough period I tried buying an Iphone on Instagram. I had bought a few things online and I thought this shouldn't be different. Instagram algorithm brought this page called “Prosper Gadgets” to me. So two months back I DM him. I was skeptic but I didn't listen. Do not buy expensive things via IG unless you have double checked with other successful transactions. I lost 300k plus. I'm fine.

But this is to bring awareness to the page because the guy blocked me and archived the page but it is back up now. So you or someone you know won't fall into the trap. This is a heads up.


Someone is always waiting in your moment of urgency to take advantage of you. That's how you get scammed. If you must buy from a page check their reviews in their comment section. If no reveiew be suspicious. If the page has many similar pages with same names but just written differently run.

This bastard is still out there scamming people, I pity people making online deposits to a stranger. Even the badagry address is fake, If you know lagos wella, You'd know no sane person can have a shop there, That's like Togo border.

Here are screenshots of my chats with this scammer. He even called me on phone to negotiate price and I recorded it and from his voice , He should be around 40 - 50. Omo even old people dey scam.

If not, try and engage in early morning activities like morning devotion, if your a Muslim early morning Tahajjud. Immediately after , check out for morning jogging and aerobics for about an hour.

Exercise have been known to be good anti depressants and also helps to motivate people ahead of the day and lighten up mood .

Seems you're not working this one you sleep whole day , when you get back from your jogging , you can clean and arrange the house. After that , take a shower , eat your break fast .

If you have any activity for the day .
Pls go out immediately . Do not go back to sleep . If no activity, You can try and watch a documentary on national geographic channel or even movies .
Just keep the brain working .

If there is no light in your area , listen to an educative radio program , politics , news etc.

Another good way to improve your mood is to engage in gyming every morning .

So, I recently went for my convocation event and I met an old friend.

So fast forward to the convocation day, I met him and he kept complementing my suit, then that was all. I told him that my coursemates already have a planned after party hangout and I'm even part of the people in charge and I'll be super busy.
Then he said something weird again, Another red flag. He said I should just excuse myself and so we can come talk and gist then I can go back. I told him it isn't possible until I'm done which will be around 9pm or later.

I went ahead to ask him if there was any problem and he said he just didn't want to sleepover in his place and that he had small issues with his roommate and stuff. He also asked if I had a roommate, I had to lie cos I'm not ready to squat anyone, I just told him he traveled for an emergency and will be back next week.
So, after the hangout , I went home around 9:30pm and he started calling again that he's on his way, I honestly wished I had switched off my phone.
Then because he knows my lodge (my lodge is kind of popular in that area of my school) He just came and was asking for my room number.
Then we just talked about random stuffs then the next red flag was, When he asked me if he could pull off his shirt that there was heat.
Like, You're my fellow guy? Why would you even ask for permission? Something must not be adding u. I just told him sure but that question made me so suspicious that instead of being tipsy from the alcohol I took, I was at high alert and awake.
Then next he came to the bed where I was, But I was focused on my phone, I went to Instagram and started watching videos to make me stay awake.
Then he started, Anytime he talks he will touch me or rub my leg, Hmmm then he continued like that but I was keeping my cool, Once he crosses his boundary, He go collect.
Then he kept on being touchy till he touched my stomach and said I should pull off my shirt that it's hot here, Told him plain that if I was hot, I would have done that since, that he shouldn't worry. Then he left that disgusting hand on my stomach, If u see the way I flinged it away with anger.

Then instantly I noticed he was disappointed, if not that it was already Midnight and no bike around that time, I'm sure he would have left immediately. then he went on to say he wanted to sleep on the floor, I just gave him the duvet and continued watching my videos till he slept off.
Before 6am, He just told me he was going and left immediately.

Like what is wrong with some categories of humans?
