Tectono Business Review gathered that a world class political economist and professor of entrepreneurship, Prof. Pat Utomi, has advised Ndigbo and the entire Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, whom he said would restore hope to Nigeria.

Prof. Utomi, who is a founding member of the Ndigbo Lagos group, said Ndigbo have been branded as people who sell their votes to the highest bidder. He, therefore, urged the people of the South-East to vote wisely in order to shed this reputation.

Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s ambition to be the next governor of Enugu State got another boost when non-indigenes living in Enugu State, made up of different ethnic nationalities, endorsed him describing him as a humble, detribalized and accommodating person, who deserves their votes in the forthcoming elections.

The spokesman of the groups and leader of the Hausa Community in the New Artisan Market, Enugu, Alhaji Sani Mohammed, made the declaration while welcoming the PDP campaign train to the market. He also declared their support for all other candidates of the PDP for the March 28 and April 11, 2015 general elections, stating that the party had delivered on its promises and remained the only formidable movement that had the capacity to unite the country.

The current Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Marine Transport added that such prospective appointees must have a first degree or its equivalent. According to him, the appointments will give the traders a sense of belonging.

A pan-African private equity firm, Emerging Capital Partners (ECP), which has seven offices across Africa on Monday; 16th of March, 2015; announced the appointment of a Harvard-trained Accountant, Seyi Owodunni, as the Managing Director of its Nigeria office.

According to a statement from the company, the new MD will work with the local team to source and secure attractive investment opportunities as well as with ECP’s portfolio companies to drive strategic and operational improvements.
