Ogbete Main Market traders now have a course to rejoice owing to the fact that the Enugu State governorship candidate under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has promised them board appointments as soon as he is sworn in as Enugu State governor.

The current Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Marine Transport added that such prospective appointees must have a first degree or its equivalent. According to him, the appointments will give the traders a sense of belonging.
