Just got the invite for top management interview... Since the panel interview held on 18th Feb...pheeewww... Such a long wait... I hope the guys also waiting, have received invites? But if not, just be patient it'll come in soon. Wish y'all the best.

LOL!!! Calm Down Bro. You'll get invited. Don't allow Access bank give you a high BP. I am still waiting for the invite too!!! I'm certain this week won't pass us by. Just make sure your mail box is your screen saver grin

. Don't panick. I'm certain between now and next week, we'll all be invited. Don't forget it's still the 3rd stage, 2 more to go after that. So remain positive.

Well, based on antecedents, the recruitment processes have different stages and batches. The process continues until the week before TS. So until then, I'll advise we remain patient and positive...at least you weren't sent a regret mail.

Also, it could be that the no. of individuals who passed from your panel weren't enough, and they need to add from the 25th Feb Batch. My thoughts though.

BTW: What panel where you in?

Yeah, i learnt that some individuals where sent regret mails, at each stage excluding the account opening stage, for which some candidates have just been sent invites.

Yeah. Quite a lot of applicants including myself. I Had the panel interview since 18th February. I'm still awaiting invite for Top Management Interview.

Not all test takers are on nairaland, so there's a possibility that, those that got the offers in 2015 didn't say so, openly on Nairaland or, aren't on nairaland! My thoughts though.

Yes, its for Sterling Bank, it wasn't actually stated in the invite. It was displayed on the screen of the laptops, during the tests (for those that bothered to check). Results are already being sent, but, negative though, for now. So i guess more will be coming in this week. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

that test we wrote is it for sterling bank? b/c they were not specific, i meant the one we all wrote on the 3rd of December. i have not gotten any feedback from them at least by now they would have known people that made it since its a computer based test. Anybody with info in any of the above should please share.

Its not a contract job opening, its Sterling Bank's Graduate Trainee Programme. Workforce recruited for them this year. Calm Down alright!!!

Hi Guys, I've been following this thread for a long while, and I find it rather baffling that you guys resort to bragging about your brilliance and intelligence in writing aptitude tests, in the guise of sharing relevant information to other applicants. From experience(After going through the recruitment stages for coys like KPMG, MTN, P&G, FMNPLC, Standard Chartered Bank,Sterling Bank, First Bank, Coronation Merchant Bank;all in the past 1 year), even though most coys have cutt-off marks, they still take the highest scorers irrespective of the number of individuals who pass the cutt off mark. So its not by your expertise in passing aptitude tests, but the score distribution amongst the total applicants.

Instead of this show-off which as a matter of concern, would trouble applicants on this thread who are already losing hope on success mails, or feeling intimidated, I rather, you, pray that you fall among the candidates selected for the next stage or share information concerning the next stage. FYI; Not all applicants nationwide are Nairalanders!!! In case you are getting so confident on getting a success mail as a result of negative feedbacks about the test on NL!

This is STAGE 1, there are @ least 3 More, before you can then, start dishing out advice to prospective applicants on how to land the job as you have done. So please lower your horns and do the needful. (As the saying goes, "the higher you go, The greater the fall" wink

So I was lucky to get a compound interest question: rate of 10% for 5 years.
Estimated my answer, Selected something and moved on.
I know you are smart and you know strategies. Not denying that.
But dont say people CANT solve 50% of the quant cos you weren't able to.
Like I said earlier. It is not about solving. It is about choosing the correct option.
BTW how can you say the analytical/logical reasoning example I cited is in 'GMAT'? what kinda GMAT is that?
PS.: the sample questions used in my earlier post doesn't necessarily mean those were the questions I got.

I am really disappointed that out of the plethora of individuals on NL, you have single handedly shown your asininity, I'm sure you are a schizophrenic, because it will take a form of illness to read the post by the OP and not think deeply enough before commenting. Are you even a Nigerian? Do you know how much a bag of rice costs? When a staple food price exceeds minimum wage, what is the result? Substandard living? I Just referred a friend to the site, i guess they've withdrawn the job position, as he also couldn't find anything. just be hopeful and keep your ears to the ground, they could still reopen it (as they might just be suspending fresh applications so as to exhaust the ongoing applications) later.

Yeah, I called the HR personell and was told that we would all be contacted as regards our status(successful/unsuccessful i.e. if one passes the minimum pass mark or doesn't)after the aptitude tests for all applicants are done with, as the aptitude tests were scheduled in batches.
But, we would all get feedback most probable, this month.
