Job Description:
Purpose:
• To supervise and coordinate activities of the operations unit.
• Ensure effective monitoring and controls of the processing facilities.
• Ensuring optimal plant operational availability & resource utilization.
• Enhance knowledge transfer to the locals through mentoring and formal training and hands-on techniques.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide technical expertise, assistance and/or operational oversight in the Plant operations.
• Provide advice, opinions, guidance and technical leadership in connection with processing operations.
• Take part at supervision of production and processing facilities and its management.
• Supervise training and provide guidance to operating and maintenance personnel.
• Provide support for operator skill enhancement, performance reviews and qualification of operators, use knowledge and troubleshooting skills and assists production teams in enhancing their troubleshooting skills.
• Check for accuracy of Start Up Procedures and perform the required process reviews and ensure operational issues, constraints, and plant/units status are communicated to associated work groups in the production team.
• Participate in short-term and long-term planning, improvement and interface with the production teams regarding unit optimization, product specifications and target ranges.
• Operations monitoring and maintenance, unit capability performance, yield and optimization.
• Assist and advise in technical reviews with Contractors, Vendors and any other service providers.
• Respond to emergencies whenever they required expertise and/or special skills may be necessary to abate or resolve a problem.
• Support the production team to achieve their safety and performance objectives.
• Contribute to maintaining plant integrity and a safe work process.

Accountabilities:
• Monitoring, Controls and safe Operation of the Production Plant and associated facilities.

Key Interfaces:
• Engineering
• Quality Assurance
• Production

KPIs:
• Improved plant operating condition and elimination of all operational bottle-neck areas.
• Ensure downtime due to operational maintenance is less than 84 hours in six month (High Equipment Availability).
• Minimal interruption in Production-to-Sales process.
• High Plant Availability.

Nwanneamakah: Mathematics n English make up part 1, while part 2 z мα∂є up of quantitative, logic reasoning n a bit of current affairs. You have to get at least half d marks of part one, and den half of part two b4 u cn b considered. If u get all in part two, but dnt get up to half in part one, u won't b considered. So in all, u hv to get @least 50%, 25% in part 1 being a pre-requisite for their marking part two. I can't rily remembr, buh I thnk ts @ least 50 questns for each part.
