[quote author=PROPHETmichael post=35417394]"Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way." 1Cor. 12:31
And that is praying in tongues.
PRAYING IN TONGUES FOR A FEW MINUTES JUST PRIOR TO RETIRING for the day causes the pupil of your third eye(6th chakra) to dilate, literally, making you susceptible to the influence of the Spirit of God while sleeping. This translates into amazing prophetic dreams. Meditating in the Word just prior to retiring produces the same effect. But neglecting these spiritual disciplines leaves your world open to satanic deception. As you continue to grow in the spirit, you will be able to key into the realm of the spirit with your eyes wide open.
As you yield your tongue a few minutes each day to the Spirit of the living God, you will find yourself over time undergoing a mighty transformation at the core level of your soul. Weakness will be displaced by strength, and whining by the spirit of boldness. An interior up wafting will suck you into the vortex of a euphoric odyssey. And then you'll know the glory of tongues!
Peace!!! [/quo But lemme ask u something, is it unGodly to awaken the 6th chakra? will it be a sin to God, cos all I wna do is know d truth abt spirituality, afterall its hnowledge dat God himself made possible for man to kw |

Owkay people lemme get straight to it, I got interested in awakening my 6th Chakra after reading Mellin's post an I've been doing some in-depth research about it but I must confess I kinda feel a bit scared about it (more like fear of consequences like)even though throughout my research it seems to only have advantages and no form of disadvantage, afterall its meant for good intention. Infact no pinch of disadvantage at all. So I plead with those that are already awakened to share their experiences here so the rest of us that are still asleep could get motivated. For the awakened and the 'to-be awakens only please.

Rxpetite: As long as both parents are present and active in the child(ren)'s life and can provide for them, i don't see a problem.
If all these poor and wretched people who can't feed themselves are praised for getting married and having ten kids that they can't feed let alone send to school, can't able young men who can be good parents have one or two kids without being crucified?
How many Celebrity children born out of wedlock have you seen hawkin on the streets? Becoming houseboys and girls? Resorting to prostitution?
We have all these unfortunate cases yet we ignore them and criticize celebrities for not getting married as if marriage is the biggest problem we have. Get your priorities straight people. We have better things to campaign for and against. Whether people choose to get married before having kids is not a priority.
You are here talking about culture. Nigerians use culture as escuse whenever they want to force their values on other people. But when the said culture is not convenient for them they say culture is dynamic. Your point exactly sire? |

Hi ya'll, was watching 'Your Views' on TVC this morning and this was their topic of discuss and I found it really interesting so decided to bring it here to get the views of Nairalanders. Please pay attention to the subject, I'm not talking about their success n achievements in their various professions but the fact that they get children out of wedlock and proudly flaunt them (kids) on social media as if its now a societal norm. Whether we like it or not, public figures (especially entertainers) have a strong influence on the public, (mostly growing generations) on how they dress, speak, behave and generally the type of lives they portray to the public. From Tuface, Obademi Martins, Flavour, IK Ogbonna, Genevieve Nnaji,Waje, Omawunmi, Teebillz, Wizkid, Olamide, D'prince and most recently Davido, etc the list is endless and so many others on the way. My question is this; * is it the 'in thing' amongst Nigerian entertainers? * have we lost our values or cultural disciplines? * should the blame be directed at the home front? * is it a right example to set for d growing generations that look up to them as role models? * or have we totally accepted the western culture or just growing with the trend?
What say u Nairalanders?

eyeview: My wife and I watched the movie just once but our disappointment lasted for almost a week. We were waiting for the high point of the movie till it ended. We were really wondering what the hype was all about. I turned to some of my friends to ask about the movie, just wanted to be sure that it wasn't me who had lost my sense of humour and they all opened up on how flat and 'over hyped' the movie was. Infact someone suggested that those who paid the initial exhorbitant fees at the cinema should have started a riot there and then for a refund or atleast some change. I just feel the AY guy just gave the movie the needed hype and by the time you realize it,it would be too late cos you would have parted with cash. should have started a riot there and then for a refund Now dat cracked me up. LOL |
