Interestingly, there are some places in the world that are completely off limits to tourists for one reason or the other, except you're a researcher or a daredevil willing to part with your good health, and sometimes, your life.

Here are some places in the world where visitors are not allowed

1. North Sentinel Island, India

The North Sentinel Island is home to the Sentinelese tribe of India, an indigenous people in voluntary isolation. They have rejected any form of contact with the outside world, often violently. Almost nothing is known about this tribe which has inhabited the Island for more than 60 thousand years. In fact, if you set foot on the Island, the Sentinelese would try to kill you. Two fishermen fishing illegally were killed in 2006 when their boat drifted too close to the Island. After several failed attempts to make a connection with this tribe, the Indian government prohibited travel within three miles of the Island. North Sentinel Island is one of the most dangerous and forbidden places in the world.

Ronaldo to miss Man Utd's meeting with Liverpool following death of baby son

The Portuguese striker has been granted compassionate leave after a family loss and won't be available for the trip to Anfield

Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Manchester United's Premier League meeting with Liverpool on Tuesday night following the death of his baby son.

Ronaldo made the heartbreaking announcement via his Instagram account on Monday, during which he also revealed the birth of a baby girl with his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

The couple had been expecting twins, but asked for privacy after the loss and United have now confirmed Ronaldo will be taking a period of compassionate leave.

What's been said?
Ronaldo, who has scored 21 goals for the Red Devils since returning to the club from Juventus last summer, won't be in Ralf Rangnick's squad for their trip to Anfield.

The club have released a statement on their website confirming the news, which reads: "Family is more important than everything and Ronaldo is supporting his loved ones at this immensely difficult time.

"As such, we can confirm that he will not feature in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday evening and we underline the family's request for privacy.

"Cristiano, we are all thinking of you and sending strength to the family."

Football rallies around Ronaldo
Ronaldo and his family have been sent a number of messages from high-profile figures and clubs across the game since the announcement, including his United team-mates Marcus Rashford and David De Gea.

Rashford wrote on Twitter: "Thoughts are with you and Georgina brother I'm so sorry."

Liverpool legend Sir Kenny Dalglish also replied to Ronaldo's original post: "Sending our heartfelt condolences to you and your family for your unimaginable loss."

Ronaldo's former club Real Madrid have said they are "deeply saddened" by the news, with a statement from the club adding: "Real shares in the family's pain and wishes to send them all of our warmth."

The forward has a £750,000 bonus for reaching 20 goals for the season and he will receive £100,000 for each additional goal he scores this season

According to The Sun, Ronaldo triggered a bonus-related clause in his contract after reaching 21 goals for the season.

Ronaldo's contract includes a £750,000 bonus for reaching 20 goals plus a further £100,000 for his hat-trick strike.

Cristiano Ronaldo earned a bonus of £850,000 as a result of his hat-trick against Norwich

United will also pay their top scorer this season £1million and Ronaldo seems almost certain to achieve that accolade given that he is 12 goals ahead of his closest challenger Bruno Fernandes.

Furthermore, Ronaldo would receive around £2.75million in total payments if he manages to reach 30 goals this season.

Although he has received some criticism at times since returning to United last year, Ronaldo is playing a major part as he looks to keep his team's hopes of finishing in the top four alive.

Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the win against Tottenham last month and he repeated the feat against Norwich at Old Trafford on Saturday.

In the seventh minute Ronaldo opened the scoring with a tap-in, and he proceeded to make it 2-0 with a header. Norwich managed to pull level as Kieran Dowell and Teemu Pukki scored but Ronaldo secured all three points for United with a free-kick.

The result saw United move up to fifth place, three points adrift of Tottenham. United now face two important away fixtures against Liverpool and Arsenal.
