Malone122: if the refusal is more than six months it’s meant to be left as “regular” So I believe you are correct ooh Ok. I now understand. Thanks so much |

Malone122: ASAP don’t even dull it unless you want to be banned ( that’s if the refusal is within 6 months ) Thanks, I have already cancelled once to change the date of appointment and the system keep saying I would have to pay another MRV FEES. Please do you think I should just email them to change it? The refusal is more than six month |

Hello guys. Please I made an appointment and I realized I selected *REGULAR* for the Visa Priority instead of *PREVIOUSLY REFUSED*. Please what do you think I can do? Would I need to cancel the appointment? |

Please I sent you a DM PriboD: Further note for those who have began their program online this fall. When you get to the interview session, not much is asked once you have started your program. I had my VISA interview last week. Once the VO asks' what school do you intend to go? You begin by telling the VO that you are a masters/doctorate student of x and y at the university of x and y. That you intend to return in-person this coming spring. You will need to show the VO a colored print out of a proof of your course enrolment, tution and fees payment and school's unofficial transcript. This was what I did. My interview was not up to a minute. Reasons why I found it difficult to forward my transcript here. |

Ok thanks solihp: Deficit is the total cost of attendance minus the scholarship, so it includes what you mentioned above as indicated on the i20 |

Ooh Thanks. But I have already scheduled an interview without filling another one due to scarcity of interview date. What can I do now? Can I fill another one and update my DS-160 confirmation number in the application portal (CGI)? solihp: No, fill another one |

Thanks for this. Please the deficit you mention. In case someone has a partial scholarship like 50k out 60k Tuition fees, can we say the remaining tuition fees 10k is the deficit? Or does it include the Expensive fees like Housing, Foods etc indicated in the I-20? Thanks fairheart: INTERVIEW DOCUMENT CHECKLIST Make sure you have all the basic and required documents with you. 1, SEVIS fee confirmation receipt. 2, GTB visa fee receipt. 3, I-20 (signed). 4, Appointment Confirmation. or the email you received for appointment. 5, DS160 confirmation showing your passport photograph as uploaded. 6, 2 passport photograph of the same you uploaded online on your DS160. 7, Scholarship letter or funding appointment letter (if there’s any). Make sure your scholarship or assistantship offer is stated on your i-20. 8, Sponsor official bank statement, stamped and signed, showing more than total cost of attendance or deficit--in Naira. Or TBillz or Fix deposit docs. 9, N43, 000 reciprocity fee. 10, Carry your confidence in your head as you carry your documents in your hand. |
